Or it just may not be there cup of tea. Most people I know are getting it, but I do have a small subset of friends that have no interest. It’s not because they think it’s popular. They just don’t like the game. As much as we call for respecting those that like it, the converse it also true. It’s a two way street.

True, I probably should have worded that better. Meant that there are some people who just aren’t interested and then there are others who just dislike it to dislike it.

> I don’t think there is much hate at all, really. The feedback has been overly positive. The major thing I’ve noticed is that any complaint, however major or minor, gets trivialized and trampled on any forum. It’s happening on Bnet, twitter, and Gaf. It’s just a bit off putting.
>
> Some criticism is always inevitable. Whether it’s over DLC, exclusives, content, rank limits, or weapon trading… it’s going to happen. Happens with all games. I think just the zealous nature of the fans is all I was noting. Happens here too. Just wish things could be discussed in a more civil way, without regressing to trivializing of legitimate complaints.

as a company you can’t satisfy all, and critizing is good since those people are the ones who proboly isn’t so biased about things. but i think that we will never be united as gamers, i think its in human nature just to act that way. and theres nothing we can do about it.

@RJCCJ well thats unavoidable,

i agree with you, destiny is something that will be constantly evolving as a world for the worse or better.

My Windows Phone could eat your phone for breakfast… Mwahahahahaaa.

Seriously, though, I agree 100%. People tend to let blind loyalty keep them from acknowledging problems, accepting input, or listening to new ideas.
343i had to go up against a lot of preexisting loyalty to Bungie when they made 343; no matter what they did, somebody would always be upset.

The Destiny hype and “fanaticism” seems to me to be worse than Halo, and the game hasn’t even officially released yet.
IMO, the game has a poorly explained plot and universe (Does anyone seriously know what the Traveler even is? Did modern-day people find this giant orb floating over Mars and, instead of studying and exploring it, just go “How nice! We suddenly feel inspired to colonize space,”? Where did the Ghosts come from? How does the Traveler’s power work?)
The whole Destiny universe feels like a confused jumble even compared to Halo, and the first game hasn’t launched yet.

I think the lack of a cohesive story line is the part that confuses me the most. I suppose it will be revealed in time, but who knows? Bungie has a way of leaving a lot of things unspoken and unexplained. While it does build mystery, I think there is a limit. A lot of history with Halo was like that in the very beginning. right now, it’s pretty vague, and just a very brief narrative. There is a little depth in some of the side plots and story, but we haven’t gleamed anything yet that starts to connect the dots. Perhaps that’s something that the full release of the game will start to do.</mark></mark>

Ya know, They added the falling stalactites to Lockout’s remake…

Only Waterworks had those in my memory, So I think it’s safe to say that Waterworks got remade, Why else go to another map for the code you need only to implant it in another and then leave waterworks untouched ?

I played the Destiny beta for just a couple hours. Perhaps my expectations were too high, but I just wasn’t impressed. The world didn’t feel…alive like I thought it would. The gunplay and enemies were pretty generic. I want to reserve judgment since it was just a beta, and I didn’t play the full thing, but…

I’m still saying its Ivory Tower. By default, I believe Siege of Madrigal plays in that map (could be wrong). I don’t think they are going to leave it there so they will probably have to touch it anyways.

Didn’t that one already got remade ?
