> I wonder how they incorporate that, if let’s say you are in Classic Mode and tracks 12 plays at 4:50 Min the transition has to be prefect to the new track 12.
>
> That’s something I think is very hard to do right.
Depends on how the new tracks are composed, and how they’re stored in the game engine.
I remember Red Faction: Guerrilla basically had 15-minute tracks, which the game engine would cut into ~30-second pieces to be remixed and arranged based on what was happening at the time. The tracks weren’t excessively repetitive (any more so than you’d expect from a 15-minute track), but the way they were composed made it really easy to cut them apart. I’ve also seen games from Crysis 2 to Pokemon do transitions and mood changes just by adding, dropping, and swapping individual instruments.
It’s hard to guess what approach will be used to transition the tracks, especially since I’ve never actually had the opportunity to play Halo 2 and hear its music, but I’m sure there are plenty of good tricks available.

But, all of my favorite artists (Bill Waterson, Stephan Pastis) have all had different strips and different characters before their syndicated strip. They had to alter their characters multiple times until they got the ay-okay.

Last time I went to an Air show in Canada…they showcased a ‘Portajet’
A Portable toilet with jet fumes and fire coming from it.

I haven’t seen the Angels in…3, 4 years. Geez, so much fun. The tension headache afterwards was uncomfortable.
> > > Getting a triple kill by sniping an enemy mine placed on an MCOM may well be the most satisfying thing I’ve ever done in Battlefield 3.

> >
> > If there is I might have to jump on for a few games tomorrow. As for my most satisfying kill; that would probably have to be when I stuck C4 onto an enemy LAV (on the map based in France with the bridges, can’t remember what it’s called) and then jumping off the bridge and detonating it as soon as I hit the water. Felt like a scene from an action film.
>
> I heard the population is higher than Battlefield 4’s at the moment. A lot of players prefer 3 to 4 from what I gather. I certainly didn’t have any problems finding a match. As for the LAV kill, nice! I think the maps name is Seine Crossing, though I could be wrong.
I managed to hop on the other day, the population really was pretty decent! I sucked though, aside from one match in which I managed to blag a 30K-11D. I’ve somehow got better at shooting down helicopters too, so that’s nice.
Yes it was Seine Crossing! I got a lovely multi-kill on there the other day - I was stood on one of the bridges while a group of enemies climbed out of the water next to the crashed boat onto the platform below the bridge. I kept spraying with my M16A3 and tossing frags and they kept going down like flies and reviving each other. It was very courteous of them to revive each other just so I could kill them…
I’ll probably hop on again tomorrow after I move into my new student house, very excited for that.

Yes! I know they practice and all that, but I just get so scared for them.

Yeah, I’ll sometimes have those worries too. But in the end, you’re too busy focusing on the maneuvers or covering your screaming ears.

AC3 is actually fun at times; its main problem, aside from the boring-as-a-brick Connor, is the way nothing in the game seems to serve any purpose aside from itself.
Weapons and gear upgrades never amount to much (the first weapons you get are better than 2/3 of the options), liberating forts really doesn’t do much for you, hunting down extra minigames doesn’t level up skills or give you useful equipment, and even the Captain Kidd missions didn’t really amount to much in the end.
AC4 Black Flag was a major improvement in almost every way.

It was. I got all the story based achievements from it when I could.
