Well…got word today that my co-workers and i are getting relocated to other gamestop’s. From what i heard the electric boxes for that area needs serious repair which means those stores may end up closing down. (Then again this gamestop and nearby stores were pounded from hurricane Sandy so yeah). Anyhow, hows it going everyone?
Btw, this talk i saw earlier about spiders…tbh, i like them, and i dont gave a problem with them. Not to mention, ive always been impressed with the females making huge webs which is literally mind blowing. Sometimes i spray it with water and take a picture of it.
Well with all this talk about insects around, i guess ill throw in my 2 cents.
Pennsylvania yellow jackets have good eyesight. My grandfather was sorta monologuing about how well they could see… blah blah blah. My father, who didn’t really believe this, decided to shoot some rocks via slingshot at a nest on a tree about maybe 100 ft away. His rock didn’t actually hit the nest, but kinda grazed the branch. One single, nasty little yellow jacket came buzzing out of their, flew straight at us and bounced right of my dads forehead. no joke.
Now maybe it was just a coincidence, or maybe that little guy was a mutant. Idk. But i’ve steered clear of them since.

Yellow jackets don’t play around. They got me quite a bit when I was a wee lad.

I agree with Riot about how unique the webs are just don’t like the thinks on webs that scare me to death.do you know where you mite be relocated to hope it’s not to far.

Last time i logged in just to download dlc was last week. Last time i played a single match was back in the first week of May.

Im not to sure…but i heard that they’ll remain open for Destiny release but after that, they’re closing. Basically they gave us a two weeks notice on whats going on,

As do I. Long commutes are never enjoyable, and only tolerable with a very fuel efficient vehicle. If you get a long commute, I do not envy you.

If I’m aware of its existence, then it’s not doing a good enough job of avoiding me. Killing it will hopefully influence its species’ evolution, selecting for the “STAY THE BLOODY HELL AWAY FROM ME” gene.
I mean, if I can even manage that. I have insectophobia and arachnophobia, but my fears center more around being touched by bugs. I can deal with pictures of bugs that aren’t too detailed, and I can deal with being near them when I’m outside, but in a confined space where there’s no escape…
