Weird, none of my browsers can connect right now.
Alright is just the main page (when i type only xbox.com) that seems not to connect. I can go anywhere else.

Hypothesis A: Immediately upon traveling back in time, you created a self-contained divergent timeline. Changes made to this new timeline don’t affect the original timeline from which you came.
Hypothesis B: Assuming a causal-deterministic universe in which there is no past (by which I mean: records of the past exist in the present, but there isn’t a physical past that you can travel back to), time travel to the past would essentially require:
- Using perfect knowledge of the laws of physics to “solve backward” and determine the state of the universe at the time you wish to travel back to
- Physically altering the universe to resemble that state, but with you added to it (effectively rewinding the universe, or destroying it and creating it anew)
This is functionally identical to Hypothesis A, except that you can never go home.

Hmmm… interesting… both theories. B is of course more chilling, and showing that, if by some abomination of science and physics, we do create time travel, one simple doing can ruin everything.

It’s up for me, though can’t access any parts of my profile… Been like that for a few months now. Only on the desktop though, works fine on iPad, etc.

I would say that I see the most prominent theory on parallel universes is that there is another universe in which every thing that happens in this universe doesn’t happen. However, if we are looking at an opposite universe that follows Newton’s Third Law, every action has an equal and opposite reaction, a parallel universe in which everything that happens here doesn’t happen would not exist due to it never forming and therefore invalidating the Third Law.
If every action has an equal and opposite reaction, and if every action’s opposite reaction is not only kickback or whatever you call it in this universe, but also the existence of another universe in which it doesn’t happen, nothing could happen. The opposite reaction would not exist.
You can’t have a parallel opposite-reality if its formation does not occur. And if we go down the route in which individual universes are created by each individual action, the universes would have to be created within definite measurements of time–which as we know, is an illusion of human perception and cannot be broken into true units of measurements due to how numbers are, in fact, infinite.
