Consider this:
Advanced Warfare is being made my a new developer, with a past in making good stories. They’ve had 3 years to develop this game instead of the usual 2. They have actually added new mechanics to the formula. And the trailers speak for themselves on how things have changed.

Zombies,Extinction and Squads were great. I am not saying there are not good parts to CoD but overall they have been bad when compared to others.
@117, I will play AW and I will give it a fair run through, if it changes my mind so be it, but if it has a bad story mixed with bad MM that has good spots I will stick to my point.
I will not buy it though.

> So much this. I felt like a fool for getting MW3. It was like a copy of a copy of a copy.
For all the copy-paste they did in that game, they did add the two best new features in the series - kill confirmed and face-off (those tiny maps designed for 2v2 and 3v3 playlists).

The whole time-warping thing just looks like a gimmick at this point. My hope is that there’s either some kind of progression system, or the demo was simply showing off a few of the abilities. I’ll be keeping an eye on it.

Mind you, TO: 1886 looks cool as well. However, the only PS exclusive I’m hyped for at the moment is Bloodborne. As for time bending, it should be a cool feature, I just hope it isn’t too overpowered.

I’ll have to see more of it first, but it’s a potential day-one purchase.

Demos are usually used to show off all the fancy things the player can do in the game, I’m sure there’s more to the game than what was seen in the demo.

Besides, even though Dark Souls 2 didn’t live up to the first game, it’s still a pretty decent game. However, the lack of Miyazaki shows in it. I’m just bummed that Bloodborne is a PS exclusive, much like Demon’s Souls.
