Today’s news was astounding. It appears that the Halo Channel will basically be the new Halo Waypoint app. Also, the Halo 5 beta trailer was awesome. That city they showed looked amazing and I also liked the weapons they showed (SMG FTW).

For people asking if Waypoint was ever going to come on Xbox One, I guess we have an answer: the Halo Channel IS the new updated Halo Waypoint.
Everything looks great so far, and I’m glad to see that Sanctuary is being reimagined, and we will see the return of Aviator and Defender armor kits. I’d like to see Recruit, Pathfinder, and Rogue variants return as well.

Wow…I seriously have to watch for new updates, b/c after viewing Halo Channel…My Mind is officially blown. Nice, :D. Anyhow, going to get rid of some 360 games (H4 may be one of them, since im getting MCC in Nov.) b/c of that 50% extra on trade-ins, so what ever i have, i’ll put it towards Destiny Ghost Edition. (Got over 25 games, so most likely 20 of them will be going. The only ones staying are SCIV, Titanfall, COD:Ghosts, AC:V-Verdict Day, and Apache).

If there only one armor I hope and pray returns, in the say design as it appeared in H4, its my “lovely” Recon. (Yet, I think it should get changed around a bit, with Contoured Forearms and Legs).

Aviator and Defender seems to be relatively unchanged, so I can’t imagine Recon being changed very much. What do you mean by Contoured Forearms and Legs?
Madsen wore Recon with Ricochet Forearms and unknown leg armor, with Spartan-IV NPC Recon wearing Ricochet Forearms and Recruit Legs, and Holst from Halo: Initiation wore Recon with Recruit Legs and Recruit Forearms. Of course, when I asked Frankie what Spartans wore he answered that Spartans technically wear anything to “both the mission at hand and personal fighting style”. Aside from wearing all Recon pieces if you want a full Recon set, the other pieces are personal preference.
I didn’t write down every single armor set I wanted to see in Halo 5. How many times have I said how much I liked Warrior, ODST, and Recon before? Too many times to count probably. They’re all very cool armor variants, fans would love to see them return.
