Yup. Two years before i was born, the show came out. Yet, i prefer Family Guy over Simpsons.

I see. I found it a little boring, but i gotta admit, i agree with the artwork. The eng dub, imo is bad.

One thing i hope and pray it doesnt happen is a Pacific Rim and Godzilla Crossover. In addition, thats quite surprising that there is gonna be a sequel b/c i expected it to be over.

When I entered the movie theater with my gf last night (yes, she’s a Halo fan), we were both expecting one of those stereotypical “half-naked women killing things” movies that seems to dominate the market these days. However, the movie that I saw was far different than that. In fact, the ending in particular was extremely interesting, and I couldn’t help but to make connections to the Domain.
>
> But on the contrary, it wasn’t without flaws. In one particular scene, where Lucy assumes the steering well of her brand new paramour (their relationship pretty much came out of nowhere, she drives the car into oncoming traffic despite there being a lane that goes in her desired direction on the same road. While it’s obvious that Lucy, having 40% of her brain being under her control at that point, would have no trouble driving against oncoming traffic, it was almost as if her doing that was for the sake of drama.
>
> Other than that, it was a great movie.

Thank you for your thoughts. I haven’t heard anything about it from my friends but seen negative reviews online. But honestly, I find myself to have a good time even with many poorly-reviewed movies. The movie looks interesting so I may see, my uncle actually knows the actor who plays Jang.
Brain scans show that we use our whole brain all the time.

At level 80 Dungeoneering, you get your hands on Chaotic weapons, which are probably the second best weapons in the game, and at level 85 you gain access to Frost Dragon dungeon, and Frost Dragons an extremely good money making method, since it is possible to get 3-4mil cash an hour just by picking up their bones and selling them.

Yea. I was originally going for 99 Dungeoneering, but it seems that it takes forever to get it if you aren’t playing with a team. And because the team system is so easy to troll, its not fun to play with random people, because there always seems to be at least 1 troll.

I know the feeling. I try to have at least one friend with me when I play any team game.
At whomever directed the AoT question at me(I skimmed):
I don’t really know how to explain. Cobra summarized it in a few short sentences and they are accurate. But a lot of anime can be summarized by the same exact sentences and still bore me to tears after 5 minutes. I’m very hard to impress when it comes to anime. I’ve by and large grown out of the medium as a source of personal enjoyment/entertainment.
The animation is extremely high quality work and makes it worth the watch all on its own. The characters develop at a good pace. The episodes feel like 10 minutes maximum, for me personally. Which is a GOD SEND. Every other anime I’ve watched since Juuni Kokki just drags on and on and on and ON forever. I feel like I’ve been sitting there watching this cartoon drag on for hours.
AoT is fast paced enough to keep my sense of time at bay; this keeps me interested because I’m surprised EACH and every time the episode ends. Leaves me wanting to watch the next one because it just wasn’t supposed to end right there -Yoink!-!
Also I can’t help but feel it resonates more of a “very fluidly animated comic story” rather than a typical “anime” atmosphere.
Even if you’re not a fan of animated adult cartoons(of any style) in general, I do recommend AoT. The story is solid, the animation is incredible and breathes new life into the stagnating(for me) genre that is anime.

Just as a disclaimer, 99% of English dubbed ones SUCK!
Or just lesser than the original
Oh jeez… finally finished a four hour battle against some hazardous malware that completely invaded our computer. Even Waypoint, on which I have never seen an ad, was eclisped by random spam.
Random words in posts were bolded and linked to some ad or another, every time I clicked on a thread, a new window with another ad appeared, and there were those ‘CONGRATS YOU’RE THE 10,000 VISITOR’ ad bars. 10,000 visitor? But Mr. Spam-vertiser, there are already 500,000+ people here before now!
Thank god that’s fixed… oh, and did I mention there was also a third-party ‘computer fixing agency’ that got a hold of our computer during it all too?

Why does no one believe me when I say that the machines are gaining intelligence? The evidence is all around us!

I understand your need to make this post. But is not necessary. The reason why I have been (recently) watching anime in English dub is because my partner doesn’t care to bother reading subs. I can at a later date watch it subbed by myself.
However, simply watching a subbed version does NOT mean the anime is suddenly not boring to me. My statement still stands. Pretty much every anime I’ve seen since I watched Juuni Kokki has bored me horribly after the first 5-10 minutes of each episode and drags on for what feels like another hour. I’ve come to dislike anime at large because of this skewed sense of time and never-ending-blandness.
For me, personally, anime has become a highly stagnated medium of personal entertainment. I can still enjoy it to some degree, and in very tiny doses few and far between. But for the most part I get bored very quickly.
This is why I do recommend AoT, and I’ve only seen 8 episodes. It DOESN’T create these effects. It’s very refreshing and I welcome it.

Because the machines suck people in. They train us to look every time we get a text, reply whenever someone contacts us during family time.

For me, anime has slowly been getting worse and worse. I meant my original comment to say that if you want to completely experience it…yadda yadda.
Seems like you have it correct though!
AoT is really the few last great animes as of now.
I miss the older Bleach seasons and the older Gundam series!
