> Also partway through Attack on Titan. It’s slightly over-hyped(seriously the amount of raving people I know have done made me think it has like 100 episodes already and it’s kind of ridiculous). But each individual episode is paced PERFECTLY. The overall plot is paced in perfect lock step with each individual episode too. It’s great to finally watch an anime where I’m not bored after 5 minutes.

Good artwork, interesting characters, high-stakes story.

It’s a little overrated, but it has a great plot (if it hasn’t already been spoiled for you), great action, and fantastic animations. And this is coming from a guy who hates anime.

Awesome. Doctor Who is huge right now and is only getting bigger. They’re not going to kill The Doctor off for a long time, if ever.

Hi candy you glad to be back home how was the drive.
Well, I just saw the movie Lucy last night and…
It was a interesting movie that took an overused concept and added a whole new level of creativity. When I entered the movie theater with my gf last night (yes, she’s a Halo fan), we were both expecting one of those stereotypical “half-naked women killing things” movies that seems to dominate the market these days. However, the movie that I saw was far different than that. In fact, the ending in particular was extremely interesting, and I couldn’t help but to make connections to the Domain.
But on the contrary, it wasn’t without flaws. In one particular scene, where Lucy assumes the steering well of her brand new paramour (their relationship pretty much came out of nowhere, she drives the car into oncoming traffic despite there being a lane that goes in her desired direction on the same road. While it’s obvious that Lucy, having 40% of her brain being under her control at that point, would have no trouble driving against oncoming traffic, it was almost as if her doing that was for the sake of drama.
Other than that, it was a great movie.

I bet it will come out next year while Pacific Rim 2 won’t come out until 2017.

Hey, if a few more years gives Pacific Rim 2 an ability to have more quality than otherwise, I’m not complaining.

Will it matter if the next Transformers or Ninja Turtles steamrolls it? I know quality matters most of all, but PR2 barely happened thanks to overseas success and DVD sales. TF and TMNT get sequels because they make bank.
