But I already downloaded that one. That was around 300MB, this was 1.9GB. :open_mouth:

> > I think the premise of No Russian begins to fall apart when just prior we were shown various newspapers of Makarov and his statements saying he plans on attacking. Not to mention the security cameras that had to have caught Makarov in the act. Yeah, an American was in on the attack…but one Makarov was still there. Then somehow this allows Russia to launch a full-scale invasion of the US and Europe. I don’t think Russia has that capability.

Yet…security cameras.

> Yet…security cameras.

Its possible a goverment could want an excuse to start a war, anyway.

Still lame if that wasn’t the point of the story, because I’m sure anyone would figure the bullet didn’t come from one fo the cops.

And if I remember correctly, one of the men on Makarov’s team also goes KIA. What would happen if that guy was actually Russian?

And then in MW3 we see that Yuri was shot in the parking lot and left to die… Did nobody check any other body besides Allen’s? -_____-

Its looking kind of dumb to me now.

Sure, a government can look for an excuse, but doing so on the actions of a known Russian terrorist doing exactly what he said he would do and blaming it on the US is ludicrous when one member of the terrorists was in the CIA. It’s a terrible position for the US, but we have diplomats for this sort of thing. I get the distinctive feeling the writers were going for a Red Dawn story, yet forgot that it at least had the excuse of several fictional global disasters mentioned in the opening and the shadow of the Cold War to explain Russia invading the US. Heck, it wasn’t even just Russia but other countries like Cuba and Nicaragua that help.

Agreed.

But unfortunately, I’ll be backing out of this topic, since talking about this particular part of a game is leading into discussing politics isn’t really well received.

Not sure then had a look on internet but couldn’t find anything.

That looks like a type of flan or crème renversée of some sort.

I love a good light, flaky, buttery croissant. Or anything with apple. Yummy.

I like pie.

Luckily, unlike the cake, the pie is not a lie.

…at least not yet.

Cheesecake: Cake or pie?

According to google translate, it should be called “bread pudding”… Whatever.

But the cake was never a lie!

All of this talk of food is making me hungry.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go visit my supply of humans Steak and grab something to eat.

Ehhh that’s not exactly what I think of when I think bread pudding. The picture you posted has too smooth a consistency, IMO. :stuck_out_tongue:

Well, thats costarican food, and we call it “budín de pan”, “bread pudding” accoring to the translation. It actually looks like that, and the flavor is even better than its looks.

You should try Costarican food sometime.

Having security cameras show a guy ‘who kinda looks like Makarov’ still doesn’t make the incident look like a false flag attack, since they were using american equipment and they left an american soldier behind to die.

> Still lame if that wasn’t the point of the story, because I’m sure anyone would figure the bullet didn’t come from one fo the cops.

Not sure was there any time in the story for anyone to figure out where that bullet came from, since the war started pretty soon after the that event.

> And if I remember correctly, one of the men on Makarov’s team also goes KIA. What would happen if that guy was actually Russian?

Wait, which one of them?

> And then in MW3 we see that Yuri was shot in the parking lot and left to die… Did nobody check any other body besides Allen’s? -_____-

Yuri was russian, and hurt, so of course it would have looked like that he was one of the civilian casualties.

> Not sure was there any time in the story for anyone to figure out where that bullet came from, since the war started pretty soon after the that event.

Forense medics would have checked unless the story was rigged for only the event without any real scientific evidence behind it. Forense medics always check, no matter the situation.

> Wait, which one of them?

If I remember correctly, one of them always gets defeated by the police and dies. Not scripted, and deson’t seem like a big part of the story, but if that dude was intentionaly made killable by other AI, then it should be considered part of the story.

> Yuri was russian, and hurt, so of course it would have looked like that he was one of the civilian casualties.

Reasonable.

> Forense medics would have checked unless the story was rigged for only the event without any real scientific evidence behind it. Forense medics always check, no matter the situation.

Unless the dead American was the first person they checked, i don’t think it would have made any change in the events after the war started if they found out the bullet didn’t come from any of the weapons the police used.

> If I remember correctly, one of them always gets defeated by the police and dies. Not scripted, and deson’t seem like a big part of the story, but if that dude was intentionaly made killable by other AI, then it should be considered part of the story.

Huh. That could have been a glitch or an oversight by the devs.
