As per the instructions of Mr. Greg Bear, I’ve recently delved into “The Masks of God: Primitive Mythology” by Joseph Campbell to better understand the thought process he went into to craft the Forerunner Saga. Mere pages in I’ve hit gold. delves into the instinct of animals like sea turtles to instantly make for the sea once they are born and know how to swim instantly as well. Same for the chicks of chickens instinctively looking for cover when a hawk flies overhead, yet not panicking towards any other bird. Campbell then goes on to talk about Carl Jung and his psychological theories of the collective unconscious and archetypes to name a few.
The archetype intrigues me a lot because it might finally cast aside the notion that the Forerunners control everything we do. Archetypes in Jungian psychology are defined as, “a collectively-inherited unconscious idea, pattern of thought, image, etc., that is universally present in individual psyches”. So while the Librarian may have nudged humanity to adopt Forerunner-style armor, as an example, the concept for armor has been with humanity since the start. Ancient humanity managed to create their own armor, nearly every civilization in the world has had armor of some form, etc. We humans as a species knows what armor is, the Librarian simply imparted an idea for BETTER armor, not armor itself.

Nintendo is going to start pulling Black Wii U consoles off the shelves. They started it in Japan, I imagine the other territories will follow.
@RJCCJ- you can also preorder Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire and they have a similar release date with Persona Q. I wish their service was consistent, but it varies greatly from store to store.

My GameStop let me preorder Halo 5, but I cancelled the preorder the next day because I wanted to wait for an Xbox One edition console to be announced.
Looks like this is my 10,000th post.
Even two and a half years later and I’m still hitting my own personal milestones. Whats really exciting is E3 is right around the corner and we get to begin trying to gather info and speculating all over again. I joined Waypoint when Halo 4 was announced and its interesting to see how similar these threads are now that we are waiting for Halo 5.
Anyways, I’m going back to trying to get my FINAL Halo 4 achievement, “Sightseeing”. All I need to do is play on every castle map but I seem to have a hard time finding one. I’ve played on all of them but “Outcast”. If anyone is around for the next couple of hours, help would be appreciated

I think the most disturbing thing about that episode was the look that Sansa gave Littlefinger as they were leaving the Eyrie.

Can’t seem to find a clip on youtube. I’m assuming it was either a loving look, or an “I want to murder everything you’ve ever known” look?
Time sure does fly, E3 is next week and then we will know more about Halo 5,this year’s Halo (if there is one) and much more. Seems like yesterday when we were seeing Titanfall, the Xbox One, PS4 and all the rest of the cool stuff at E3 2013.
So who here will actually be going to E3?
Yesterday i bought the Bioshock Infinite Season pass, so i could play the Burial At Sea DLC’s, but now i can’t because for some odd reason, i caught the common cold(?).
So yeah. Catching the most common winter disease when its summer.

That’s a good idea. However, I think I’m going to hold off getting the Halo 5 edition and get the Halo 6 edition instead.

It was a mix between a disturbingly seductive look and a serial killer look.

Better idea: get console versions for both games.
