Lol, I had the same thought. I couldn’t come up with the name at first, but yeah. Amazing dog, :).

Actually, its a Cirneco dell’Etna

And, as an added fact, it is no way related to Pharoah Hounds. I don’t get it either.

Well then I stand corrected.

…But I’ll be -Yoink!- if that dog doesn’t look like a Pharoah Hound.

He’s a cute dog.

I know. Its insane how those 2 dog breeds look exactly alike, but are not related to each other in anyway.

I have to wonder if at some point some ended up in Sicily from Egypt way back when and evolved into the Sicilian breed now. Otherwise that’s really, really random.

This is Barkley and his sister, Cookie.

Also, its kinda funny how that dog likes to sleep in places that are +40 celsius. And its capable of opening doors that are not locked. And it keeps poking you with its nose when it wants someone to pet it’s head or scratch its back or something.

And it keeps eating everything that is left un-supervised.

I don’t think I’d like to have a pet animal. I’d like to have a huragok though. Huragoks are amazing. I like huragoks. They’re wow.

I tried drawing lord Gwyn from dark souls preparing a bolt but… I think it’s maybe meh… http://debateimgpile.tumblr.com/image/92409820249
I didn’t do my standard drawing technique to be fair…

I seem to give out commands and stuff in team play with people and stuff. “Deploy Autosentry, stand here, use grenades, get to cover, take care of the crawlers, follow me, get into the warthog, take care or the enemy incineration cannon, take the ridge”. And so on. And it’s so satisfying when people do what I say and stuff comes into fruition. Thinking tactically, being aware of all surroundings, thinking forward is really important. So fun when stuff works.

But to get back to dogs. Dogs are like one of the oldest bioengineering projects humans have done.

In my last post, I think I said kit Kat instead of riot when referring to the job thing.

Titan will jump up on the couch next to you and if he wants something, he’ll paw at you. If you don’t answer or don’t answer right, he’ll paw at you again. Ignore him more and he’ll whine and practically knock you over to get your attention.

I love it.

Does he sit on your feet? Because that is what my dog does.

Awwwwwwwww! Make the cutness stop! It’s too much!

Haha… that sounds like my sister’s lab, Ohana (Hawaiian for family).

That dog is 90-some pounds, and it still thinks it’s a the puppy that cound sleep in the sock drawer.
When you watch TV or just sit down, Ohana will center herself directly in front of you and plop her head in your lap. If you don’t acknowledge her within 30 seconds, she’ll let out a tiny bark. She’ll continue this, then she’ll try and lick your hand off for attention.

Then she’ll just boost herself up into your lap and lay sprawled across the chair and you, upper paws and head dangling over one side, back legs and tail dangling over the other. It’s soooo cute…

@Erick:
Yeah. I was a bit of a bad follower when you tried to teach me how to go death-less in Spartan Ops…
Going to be honest on the drawing… the head looks like a mess of hair… HOWEVER, I really like the outfit and background detail.

> Does he sit on your feet? Because that is what my dog does.

My dog does too. I stand up, call her, she runs through my legs, sits at my feet and looks up at me and smiles. I’ve never had such a loving a loyal dog before. She’s a golden retriever and everything about goldens is perfect to me. Minus the shedding…

Hey, i forgot to ask: in English language, when talking about animals, do you refer it has he/she or it?

Because, in Finnish language, when talking about animals, they are referred as ‘it’ or ‘that’, not he/she.

Also, fun fact: the Finnish language does not have a word for he/she. The word ‘hän’ replaces both he/she in Finnish language.

> Does he sit on your feet? Because that is what my dog does.

Nah, not really. He’s more about sitting in your lap.

Mostly he or she but really depends.

> Sorry Cream, but I’m going to trust the ASPCA in terms of animal safety and reliability of facts on this one. While they admit that they can cause serious damage, Snickerdoole’s point about other breeds bite records just aren’t tasty enough fodder for the media is also one they argue. Seems a lot of folks here buy into the alarmist mindset about pits.

Any death by dog attack or a very serious attack would make the news regardless of breed. This is just a quick search I did. I have nothing against pits and neighbor even has one, but they are damn random and quick to attack. Sure, I know there are ones out there that are lovable and have been family pet for years and years with no incident, most of them will be this way. But they have a more random and shorter temper fuse, it seems :-/

Also, since we are talking about dogs attacking other dogs, let me tell you a story that is very, very stupid and it will make you angry:

So, a week ago or so, a woman was walking outside with her dog, which was a small dog (forgot the breed), and, out of nowhere, a much larger dog attacked, and started to bite this smaller dog.

Now, the owner of this larger dog came and tried to separate the dogs, and accidentally the small dog bit that person.
They did get the dogs separated before the small dog got killed.

And then, 2 days later, the owner of the larger dog demanded that the smaller dog had to be put down because it had bitten him.

And guess what happened?

Yea… Let that sink in for a minute…

I hate this country sometimes.
