Probably a little late here, Riot, but if it is any consolation, had I been at the forum you moderated for and found out about your job, I’b probably be more assured about my security on that board.

Back from Microcenter, and may be on for a little while longer so i can fix my bros computer. Switched the HD PATA to SATA, since the motherboard contain SATA slots.

Well, what we CANNOT do is, look directly at what the user is doing. Basically using TeamViewer is not allowed (VMWare Only b/c thats when we perform maintenance). The only thing we do is monitor, what info goes in and what info goes out, as well as your history (internet most of the time) to make sure if you downloaded any files and mark them down. That way if something occurs to the PC, they message us on our private forums, and we give them a list of questions regarding the problem, then we ask permission to access it via VMWare. Yet the only thing we do not open nor see are (Personal Emails, Exchange Emails, Personal Files containing personal docs/pics/movies).
However, in some cases, we monitor for hackers and tbh, its July, we had over 7 hackings. Though I am not authorized to discuss it, but 2 of them were pretty bad.
Yet, like i said, we don’t “invade” privacy in any way, but watch your certain steps.

Most accurate line here. As a member, I say how I’m feeling and try and express things in a constructive but critical way. As a moderator, I am constantly looking at my wording, going back and editing things I feel may not come across the right way, and thinking if posting is worth it. I’ve made mistakes on that front before, nothing big, but mistakes nonetheless. Its a great learning experience to help you think before you act and in our case, post.

Pretty much, i gotta admit. Sometimes when I’m on break, I go to the server just to check the progress of it, b/c there will be times, it slows down for no reason. Yet, what I hate most and hope I don’t run through it again is Migration. What a nightmare that was.
With the hacking, a lot and i mean a lot of clients get scam mails, yet the sad part is, 40% of them open it, which then affects their system and data, so when they write up a report on the forums, we read them and ask, did they open it…once they say yes, its pretty much a slap in the face, XD.
Part of me thinks I’d be an alright moderator. The other part of me is pretty sure that if forums were a more physical thing, I’d be the guy to accidentally light something on fire and burn the whole forum down…

One day i would really, really like to hear a proper reason to why i get so frustrated when i hear about or see a person who’s life is better than mine in any way.
Also, ive been playing RuneScape a lot in the last 2 days, and i might go for 99 strength, because i just noticed yesterday that i got it to level 94.
It would probably take about a week to get it to 99 if i keep killing like, HellHounds or something.
But it would be nice to have another Skillcape, im getting bored of the ones i already have.

Any reason why it’s exclusive to Comic-Con? I’d imagine they would sell quite a few of those.

Nah, don’t say that about yourself, Silent. Believe me, first time I moderated…my staff and I (this was on a Phantasy Star Online Forum) had quite a few laughs, b/c I accidentally moved threads into different section. Mistakes will happen on the first try, but you learn from them,
