Most Halo fans (or at least, a lot of them) seem to grow attached to [a] specific armor set(s). For example, the biggest examples of that I can think of right now are Riot Rojas with Recon, Greenskull from YouTube and Ready Up Live with War Master PRML, erickyboo and Cizlin with Prefect, and a few others.
I’ve always wondered what it’d be like to match your armor set with your interests, gameplay style, or even profession, if it can be matched. Many people in my bloodline have been Aviators and it looks like that’s where I’m headed now, but wouldn’t it be kind of strange if I stuck with Warrior?

Yes it is. Never could beat every mission on S rank, but I easily invested well over 500 hours into the game.

I’m partial to ODST my self. Strangely I rarely wear it, but I haven’t liked any of the multiplayer variants available (other than the ODST setup in Halo 4 minus the helmet).
If I had to choose one related to my lineage, my Great Grandfather (who I may add lived to be 102 years old) was a scout in the First World War, so I’d probably end up going with scout. Then again I also have a relative who was one of the first soldiers into Holland in the Second World War (a standard infantry soldier).
In this case I could probably combine the two armour setups.
I don’t see it strange if you stick with warrior. Use what you like.

I never said everyone holds that expectation, sorry if it sounded like I did. I really am not making this up though. It has been heavily implied by some, with one flat out saying it.

I wouldn’t say that’s a good thing. Erick, there’s always a certain risk factor in friendships, you can both positively and negatively affect them and they can affect you. Being afraid that you’re going to hurt the other should not keep you from making friends. Of course, just remember that you can make friends both on and off Xbox Live/online communities and gaming.

ODST is great 
My personal favorite as well, although not anymore.
That’s really cool, very interesting to learn about people in families with military backgrounds. Spartans don an armor set and then select pieces for their style and combat role, that’s very approvable. In fact, Thorne and in-game Spartans have Ricochet forearms and an exclusive shoulder piece, although they may have initially been part of the classic Recruit set.
Agreed! Even Master Chief is an excellent pilot (even his title song “117” plays when he is piloting a Broadsword) and rocks Mark VI.
