Sup guys! I just posted a new part in my fanfiction today. learn more about it here. I want to take this opportunity to talk a little bit about my book. I have already planned a sequel to The Winter, each book is 3 acts long and I have carefully constructed my plan to make the most out of each act. Another thing that is on my mind is with a second book on the way, I will need a second cover art done for me in the coming months. Unfortunately due to the Microsoft terms of use policy (Which is technically made for machinimas but probably applies to fanfiction as well) I cannot offer direct payment but I’ll save that subject for The Winters thread.
Bottom line: This time I’m going for the best of the best. and I’m going to work out a benefit of some sort for someone who helps me.

So, I finally did it. Over 50 hours of dying, defeating frightening bosses, conquering the bearers of the Lord Souls, I finally beat Dark Souls. It was an awesome & difficult ride, but I managed to beat Gwyn. But man, The Four Kings & the Bed of Chaos gave me a lot of trouble. Dark Souls 2 here I come!
If any of you don’t have it, I highly recommend you give it a try. Yes, it’s difficult at first, but it’s one of the best games of the previous generation. It’s so much fun to finally beat that pesky part of the game you were stuck on for days. The soundtrack is absolutely amazing, too.

Honestly, I didn’t have any problems with Four Kings at all and only died a few times at Bed of Chaos. Now Ornstein and Smough, they were the most difficult -Yoinks!- in the entire game. I hate them with such a great passion.

My favourite boss in the entire game. Difficult, with a great soundtrack & atmosphere. Plus Ornstein just looks plain cool.

To be honest, i would be completely OK with both of these.

Ornstien does have awesome armor, it just has awful defense. Smough is an ugly fat -Yoink- I never really enjoyed the music because I was always dodging attacks by the pair. And Solaire is useless because he kept dying every single fight before I could kill Smough. The only way I won was because of the Shield of Artorias plays heavenly choir music. That is the single most effective piece of equipment in the game. Blocks off most attacks with ease and little loss to Stamina and I suffer little to no health damage.

I managed to do it solo, with a Baldur Side Sword & a Silver Knight Shield. T’was very challenging, but I beat them in the end. Smough is a rather disgusting character, he’s actually kinda disturbing. The way Smough laughs is just…

I feel like Gamescom isn’t the type of place they’d want to announce it.
If anything, it’d be E3 or their own special event like Sony & Microsoft did to unveil the Playstation 4 and Xbox One.

Looks fine until I close the viewing window. Then when I go to look at the shot again, the tag is gone. The “Halo Waypoint” tag remains, but the Snazzy tag is gone.
