That moment when the child you’re tutoring goes from 7% on her daily test to 80% in three days.
Her brother keeps giving me parts of his lunch in thanks. It’s adorable.

Alternate Reality Game. It’s when companies do that thing where they make a web site or something that would actually be in the universe, all for marketing. Look up “ilovebees.com” and you’ll get the picture.

Hopefully next week
> Found something out about this “Catalog”…
Yup. Catalog was an intelligence construct used by the Juridicials.
They recorded a lot, especially about the Flood and the Didact(s) at the end of the war.
Canonically speaking, if there is a Catalog running around the forum… we could be getting some pretty big info drops. For know, I guess… we keep asking questions!

Waits for a Primordial-esque response that causes forums members to commit suicide from the horror of what they’ve learned

That sounds interesting and worrying at the same time.

…and ill be looking forward to them, :).

I’m especially curious about the “Locke Johnson” comment, and whether or not that was a random post or a mildly humorous way of denying the idea (at least, the latter was my interpretation).
Given the nature of the account I’m leaning towards it being a denial of the idea.

It does coincide with a character called ‘emergentC’ appearing on the IRC (they had previously been absent since the Guardians announcement). ‘They’ being those who seem to run the ‘ARG’.

I’m both delighted and terrified by that prospect.

Interesting. Perhaps there is a correlation.
Just gotta keep watching them. It is Catalog’s first day, after all.
If it doesn’t turn out to be part of an ARG, then we’re getting some pretty awesome question answers anyway!
And… now it is confirmed to be Forerunner in origin due to its use of “combat skin”.
Catalog also didn’t quite answer this, which implies that it is not just a 343i member being friendly to people who like the lore by answering questions.

It might be that didn’t answer it because the thread’s title said “Spartam II” instead of “Spartan II.”
Since im trying to get all the 4 original Borderlands 2 Vault Hunters to level 72 before the new Borderlands game comes out, Maya the Siren and Zer0 the Number are the only ones left, since i got Salvador the Gunzerker to level 72 today, and i got Axton the Commando to level 72 a month ago.
Hopefully i won’t break the disc in half before i reach my goal, because going through the game 3 times with the same character just to reach the max level is very, very boring…

This morning, I actually had to rewind the vid to make sure I heard Jack correctly. Needless to say, I PMed Moa a ‘congratulations’.
