Hi 343i, I hope everything is running smoothly!

Here some more awesome ideas:

18- Now I wonder who did choose the colors for multi teams playlist, this person need a vacation, instead of having colors that are way too similar like green & lime why not have orange, and I’m not talking about orange from Halo Reach, that was awful and too bright, we need a dark color orange like the fruit orange, and green, and please don’t put yellow again in multi teams because its like putting a constant bright star or waypoint over our heads, we can see yellow team from far away, instead have brown or purple and it would be awesome, it is best to be focusing on dark colors that does not look similar just to not confuse players.

19- Also I wanted to talk about a notorious problem with Halo 4 that definitely needs to be solve for Halo 5, the grenade physics and how they react, really I have been for I don’t know how many hours trying to adjust to these grenades and they still aren’t useful the way they are suppose to be, and the sound is too agressive Tajeen, please make them sound with a bit less attack in their sound envelope (remember I studied computer assisted sound design at Musitechnic at downtown Montreal) with less attack also in the sound but with a little bit more sustain in the sound envelope and with much more bass in the low ends kind alike a mix of both Halo 3 for the attack in the sound and the low end of Halo Reach but all beautifully & slightly compress to give a nice and rich sound! Now for the physics of the grenades, it needs to be able to bounce once if the enemy is closer and explode or up to 3 times if the enemy is far and explode and it needs to have some kind of proximity algorithm that optimize the best possible time for the grenade to explode at the most vulnerable spot of the enemy.

Also if that thrown grenade in mid-air suffer the explosion of another grenade it is triggered to blow as close as possible to the enemy in mid air! Now in my opinion it is best to have slightly weaker grenades but have plenty around to use and abuse like in Halo 3 where it took skills to use them and they need to be super bouncy then have not enough grenade around or not be able to drop them when we died and not be able to pick them up from around fallen players and having them be over powered. Now do see what I mean 343i, also I find it most frustrating that grenade don’t bounce at all or very slightly on sand and natural grounds, it should be like Halo 3 super bouncy and the difference between the different grounds should be at most 15 - 20% and I really don’t wanna see grenades bounce pass an enemy anymore without exploding even if its from up close & even if the blast is going to affect me!

20- I wanna see the Brutes exactly as they were in Halo Wars because they were perfect there and in Halo 3, in Halo Reach they were awful & ugly with really weird tattoos on their face, I know its in the books but I’d prefer these tattoos somewhere else on their bodies, also in Reach they looked like werewolves and werewolves are extremely ugly, please advise! Also I would like to see the Brutes run like gorillas when they go crazy like Halo 2 and run on two legs like Halo 3!

21- I wanna see the Elite go back to their original design, because the original conceptors of the Elites design them after the Predator here, and I would really see them with their full jaws and their frontal teeth like in this first picture but their jaws would be able to be divided in the middle in two and they would have that bottom lip with their cute triangular tongue from Reach, their jays would have to be vertical instead of horizontal like in Halo 4 and their eyes must be like humans in front of their heads and not on the sides and they would have the body of the arbiter in Halo Wars but with a medium neck with irises that are like felines and faces that looks like that, and like Han and her husban the Arbiter’s face from Halo Legend the Dual and their mouth needs to be able to completely close so they can talk, no one can talk without a tongue, and also I would like to see the elite use their mini energy sword from their suits to assassinate again!

22- I would like for firefight to comeback, and don’t give up on Spartan Ops just yet instead transformed them into Campaign add-on that you can release after the game as been shipped, please plan like 5 - 6 add-on campaign to be release after the game, for the firefight I would like to be able to forge those maps and forge the encounters and decide where enemies will spawn and where there will be a drop off of enemies, etc. Talk about that why don’t we have other style of firefight were its not us who are being attacked but us who attack the enemy from orbit with a drop off at start in drop pods and we go and infiltrate an enemy ship or planet or territories and we are the one who have waves and waves of troops who gets in and attack the enemy, also I would like to be able to be the enemy like at the start of Reach, but instead there is no points to earn with each kills, instead our overall skills is calculated by the Halo 3 style ranking system with a BPR Rating like a combine version of the goods of Halo 3 & Reach that would be awesome and we would be able to play as any faction as we want without being restricted due to cheaters who want to rank up fast due to some really silly point ranking system, feel me here 343i!

23- I would like to see an interactive MM screen where when we wait for the matchmaking we could play really silly games of skills, reaction time and precision in the bottom of the screen and it would be a very low graphic and resources game with sound like a gruntpocalypse, a old school Asteroids style game where we are a Frigate and have to kill with our main guss cannon an invading wave after waves of space banshees & phantoms & etc, or we could be a tank or grizzly shooting incoming waves of ghost or banshees or a mini Spartan Assault like the real game but with really low graphic like Mario Bros 1 just to keep our attention and perfect our dexterity & precision, also we could have a little contest of how many head shot we can have on grunts or drones in a limited amount of time, the possibilities are endless here!

Hi 343i, the future that I ear for Halo 5 is fantastic, make sure that it happens please!

Here is some more ideas:

24- For the grenades part two, I would like to see the grenades make vehicles and dead foes fly like little birds like in Halo 3 even if they are near the end of the grenade damage radius, because its our only defense against powerful vehicles for people who just spawn and have basic weapons, and I wanna see the vehicles bounce around like in Halo 3 because Halo 3 was super fun for that matter, also I would love to see the plasma grenade be up to 15% stronger than the Frag grenade with a 5% radius increase but a 10 % height decrease so that it can be balanced for players, for the frag I would like a 5 - 10% damage height increase with a 5% damage radius decrease for more skills, also it needs to be super bouncy specially on dirt, sand and snow grounds and if someone is exactly within the 20% middle of the blast and on the ground its a kill, and every other grenades need to be compared to the Frag grenade!

For the spike grenades, the spikes needs to be able to ricochet up to three times on different hard surface in an angle of 35 to 40 degrees or more, have at least 1,5 times more reach and each spike that hit someone is a kill, and the need to be quite a few spike that goes out through the sticky part of the grenade which is the top that can pierce through an armor or a damage vehicle, for the incendiary grenade it needs to stay the same as in Halo 3 but it should stay 5 - 10 seconds longer on the grounds, someone, a vehicle or where ever, same for the instant freeze grenade and it would still damage the area that it is on, the EMP grenade from the Helljumper serie from Halo evolution needs to act like the EMP of the plasma pistol but continuously like a dome for up to 5 seconds, the pulse grenade need to be able to stick and it would be a perfect grenade! We need more sticky grenades & bouncy grenades!

25- No more Join in progress what so ever, please!

26- A much better Skill base Matchmaking system that actually putt equal amount of players with equal amount of skills in each team or with with a difference of 1 extra players on odd numbers of players.

27- If a players quit, there needs to be a 4 pts penality periode, try it and it’ll make the difference!

28- Keep the no betrayals in Matchmaking or at most 5% damage with up to three betrayals for booting options or one betrayals if its a heavy weapons or snipers!

29- No more stopping power on incoming fire what so ever, instead here is what will make this perfect, have a 5% speed increase on incoming fire and it’ll be perfect!

30- Have 130% damage resistance on the backs for each player like it used to be in Halo 3!

31- Please loose the green scope for the carbine & beam riffle because its super ugly and frustrating, revert back to their classic feel & scope please, because Halo needs to stay classic!

32- Please have all the game types that used to be in Halo back again, and Have a special team for the modding community because they do come up with a lot of new games each month, please make the mods of the community a big part of the MM Updates, Ty!

33- I would like to see again the Rotary UNSC Turrent from Halo 3 back again because it was more cool than the one in Reach & Halo 4 but I would like to see more turrents and missile launcher and be able to customize it aesthetically and I would like to have the Turrent of Jorge also!

34- Dexterity needs to stay as standard for all players

35- I would like to see all the menus in Halo 5 have animations like they used to be in Halo 2, 3.

it’s “Meh”. Only came back to play Legendary and that sent my respect for 343 from 10% to about 40%. BR still ruins the game in most playlists.

I hope Invasion is vamped up in the future. I understand you are trying to connect multiplayer to the story, so invasion is a way to tell historic battles between human and covenant forces. Plus, it would be cool to deploy by phantom drop ship or ODST drop pod, wouldn’t it?

Hi 343i, I’m tired of being restricted by the engine, here’s some solutions for your problems!

1- I want to be able to move forward even if I’ve been momentarily stop in mid air in my momentum and that is most specially when I’m using jetpack which by the way should go back to how it was in Halo Reach because it sucks to have such little timer on the jetpack! Think of it 343i, its because that the AA were so badly implemented and with other things too that Reach didn’t make it as a good game, now Halo 4 is suffering of some of this disease for the jetpack that why its not successful, now its best to take what works perfectly and use it for future releases, for example Halo 5 would need Reach Jetpack, Evade, and H4 Sprint with 2 seconds added, Thrusters with two thursters uses with 30% longer uses or evade would be better and we need to have the ability to pass over a small hole or evade is better in everything, we also need the Hard light shield, auto sentry! Invisibility and Regenerative Field need to go back as an equipment and a power up!

2- Here is a big one that will revolutionize Halo forever, have melee assist & melee indicators, where when an ennemy is in reach of a melee there is some kind of indicator that pop around the reticule to indicate that you are in melee distance of each other and also when some one is out of the reticule but still inside the melee indicator for example someone that just pass by, the melee assist would make the player turn automatically and assassinate that person, imagine how cool this would be in Multiplayer!

3- I’m tired of getting stopped by little bumps on the ground or little barrier that I could hop over easily, I don’t want to be stop in my momentum again 343i also it needs to be able to climb and have Free Run moves like in MIRROR EDGE, I want to be able to have some smart movement like the smart movement system from Brink, its been done by many other games, and I want this in Halo, Movements is more important than AAs, equipments, new weapons, etc. because the game would be so much more enjoyable with only the weapons, vehicles etc. of Halo CE but with a smart movement system then the other way around, its what define a game as being a ok game and a freaking awesome game! I’d say that for your War Arena it would be better to have Halo 3 reloaded with the equipments but with a smart movement system like Mirror edge where you can sprint & slide, evade & free run with free momentum where you hop over obstacles or jump and swing over the obstacle by holding the bar over it, I’m just speculating here but this would be a much better game then have lots of more gimmicks that just slow down the game flow, because a fast gameplay is much more fun game!

4- Dexterity needs to be for everyone, periode!

5- Grenadier need to be for everyone again where everybody drops their grenades, weapons, equipment and Armor ability when they die!

6- Please bring back classic slayer as the main slayer game type instead of Infinity slayer because infinity is not bad but its not fair for everyone on the point system and classic slayer is all we want in the end as our main slayer game type!

Hi 343i, today I had some issues on how Halo 4 looks and I would like to bring to your concern the very best way it can be for Halo 5, I hope your excited as I am about Halo 5!

First, I can’t help it but to notice that the font that you guys used for Halo 4 is not the easiest on the eyes, and better yet its not a Halo font since Halo CE, so please revert back to the original round & pleasing font that was in Halo 3 menus because this one is very pleasing, easy on the eyes & easy to read font and I belive it should be the official font for all future Halos because this one is awesome and the ones in Halo 4 menus was just awful & so not easy to read and it tired the eyes quickly. Also the Forefunner font of the Halo title on the cover of the games is amazing too and it should be in some special features menus or some hidden terminals or missions etc.

Another thing that I’ve notice is the HUD, it way too much cluttered by overlapping indications, sprees & names, icons and scoreboards, its too much out of place, in Halo 3 everything was in its own place and nothing much did overlap in other section or position, specially for the sprees section with the names just over the radar! I would like to see each section back to their original place without taking too much places and with restrictions that make abreviations instead of letting the whole names show! Also for the scoreboards on the bottom right of the HUD, I would like to see them exactly as they were in Halo 3, a little more transparent and a bit bigger with bigger H3 fonts but at the same time taking a little less space, I wanna see the grenade & weapons indicators be at their rightful place more at the top left & right just so that we can free up more space in the middle of the HUD plus I wanna see the equipments indicators right under the grenades just like in H3 and I wanna see a really nice square box around the selected grenade as it was in Halo 3 for less confusions instead of what’s in Halo 4 and I wanna see two weapons indicator for the weapons section so you may know what you have as a secondary weapon at all times like in Halo 3!

Also I wanted to talk about the radar, it is super freaking awesome that you guys implemented my idea of putting miniature vehicles icons in the radar and I’m sure you had that idea from others too, but please you need to revert back to Halo Reach style of radar where it was easy to read the height level of the players with triangles for those who are above us, round dots for those who are at the same floor as us and light dots for those who are below us and you can even put cones for those who are two stories above us or higher that would be so cool but the actual radar system that is in Halo 4 is sooooooooooooooooooooo confusing, and that’s just an under statement, even after all these weeks of playing Halo 4 I still get confuse on which level is the enemy and I’m sure so many pro players too are confuse (help me out, Bravo Bro!) Bungie had that style of radar system and the beta sure prove very useful to show that radar system was defective in its nature and way too confusing so please keep the Halo Reach style of radar plus the vehicles icons in it too! In short I would like to see all of the icons in the HUD pushed more to the extremities and be more properly adjusted so that they can be more hidden away from the center of the HUD and the reticule needs to come back to the way it was in H3, 30% thicker! And I would like to see the shield meter be 10% slimmer and 15% longer for better viewing with rounder edges for less guessing!

One thing that I find really funny in Halo 4 is how when we stop running the reticule take like half a second to show and its really frustrating, I want to see at all times whenever I’m running the famous 5 points reticule of when I hold the bomb in Halo 3 and then revert back to my reticule when I stop, matter in fact I always wanna see that 5 points reticule whenever there is not a reticule to see this make the game legit and a lot more fun at all time. Matter in fact that when ever the game is over, I do not want to see any scoreboards come and cluster my view in any way shape or form, this need to be a standard for all the future halo games, I wanna have and options that says hold ‘‘this’’ button to show the scoreboard because the only thing on my mind is I wanna have my last kill before the black screen appear or go insane on somebody and I don’t want to have anything to come and cluster my view, same goes for the winning icon that pop up, it need to be like another announcement that shows up a little bigger then an announcement for 2 - 3 seconds and end up being the same size as an announcement under the shield and that’s it I don’t want anything in my view, and please let the Halo Community be awesome in these last moment of the game (Bravo & BS Angel help out the community not just me on this one, Ty)!

PS: I wanna see Grif get kill with each score again as it was meant to be because its one unwritten rule of Grifball and I also want him to get kill with one gravity hammer or energy sword swing if Grif doesn’t defend himself even with an overshield but if he do, he could last up to three attack from the enemy and that would be perfect!

Here is what we’ve been wanting for sooo long 343i, thank you for earing us, and pretty please let the Halo 5 Leak text for Xbox One be at 96% true with huge encounters, ty!

Also I would like to mention that I would love to have this amazing feature in Halo because its pretty mind blowing, I would like to have vocal effects over chatting communication where I could choose to have for example submarine FX on my chatting for to sound like I’m using submarine communication devices, also I would like to have police communication FX, walkie talkie FX, helicopter FX, ambulance FX, Spartan FX where you voice sound more bad -Yoink- with a lower & more mature register, old school communication device FX, etc. with the calling FX for each sound FX, you get the idea here!

Please 343i and specially Frankie & Bonnie Ross, hire a lot more people for halo, I know its already one of your concern but please make this a priority so that you could satisfy the community even faster then before! I would like to see the forerunners weapons have energy surrounding & illuminate them bright and light blue like in the Halo legend origin. Also I can’t stand to see armors don’t have their full potential, for the Mark 7 the suit could have jetpack & thrusters together and we could use them simultaneously like it should because this is 2557 and technology should have gone crazy good, it feels like what Halo is like in the year 2077 and the tech that we use is like obsolete, 343i the new suit of Mark 7 needs to cover the whole body like the Mark 4 did and better with a lot more tech abilities and capabilities and it needs to look awesome like Halo 3 and Arbiter should look much more better like Ripa Moramee in Halo Wars and remember his face should look more like the arbiter in Halo Legend the dual with a bottom lip, a tongue because without it no one can talk and you need you mouth close to be able to speak words with your tongue, horizontal teeth and 4 retractable claw like big teeth at the end of each jaw just like the predator from which the Elites were inspired!

PS: I also wanted to mention something that is extremely important, I feel that in Halo 4 there isn’t a good sense of distance in the game and the bullet magnetism isn’t quite right, what I mean by that is that all four main riffles, the BR, DMR, Carbine, Light riffle, they all are like mini snipers, I think that the difference between a close encounter and a long encounter and everything in between should be increased so that the longer in distance is the encounter, the more shots is needed to kill the opponent, I think it should be between Halo 3 and Halo 4 to be perfect, because I remember in Halo 3 when we were in a long encounter with someone it took like 8 or 9 shots to kill them and 4 or 5 in close to medium encounters, now in Halo 4 even after the weapon update a long encounter take 5 or 6 shots and its ridiculous, it should remain almost the same Halo 3 for more skills base gameplay and the bullet magnetism should be increased slightly and be the same for all main riffle for halo 5 & there should be a lot more riffles too from more factions and specially add a rebel Brute faction, please 343i, take this in consideration!

PPS: A looooooot more silenced weapons, like the SMG, Assault Riffle (it be great to have a 2x scope on it please), saw, pistol, shotgun, BR, DMR, I know its crazy, crazy makes the game more fun, and please bring back the flame thrower, missile pod, and fan favorite vehicles like chopper, hornet, falcon, spectre, revenant, prowler, elephant even those that didn’t make it in the final games, the prototypes! Also one thing I always wanted to do is to reload my turrent, yes you heard me right, reload all turrents so I can use it like Jorge specially the Brute Turrent! I want the MC’s blue team to come back to Halo, its been too long we’ve heard of them and haven’t played them yet, its a must, also I would like to assassinate Hunter just like in Forward up to Dawn with a grenade or an energy sword or a gravity hammer!

  • Observations from the Flight Deck, Part 1 -

Let’s talk about the Campaign for a few;
First off, I think 343 did a GREAT job moving the story towards a new direction. While it didn’t make for the best story in its own right, I understood (as I think a lot of others did) that this story had to happen so that the Campaign could take us somewhere else, somewhere new.
(I emphasize new because I’m personally hoping that the new Halo teaser where Chief was holding Cortana’s housing was just to signify remembering her - NOT because we are AGAIN going to try to save Cortana. I love Cortana’s character, but we’ve played the save Cortana game enough, time to move forward.)

I digress; there were a few things I noticed with the Halo 4 Campaign. First and foremost - the story felt kinda rushed to me, the pace almost jarring. It was very introduce “A” and we’re moving on… this is “B” annnnnd we’re moving on, and here we are at “C”…alright, let’s move on. There were some moments that could have been Epic moments and then there were wow moments that didn’t have as much impact as they should have, I think.

For example, when you first discover that the Covenant and Prometheans are working together; that could have been a short, but great cutscene with A LOT of impact…not just a quick mention from Cortana because all of the sudden you see both species fighting together.

The intro of the Didact; cool cutscene, had some solid big-moment-emotion to it, but it was kind of just implied by the music and a display of his powers that he was an evil tough guy - and that was all you needed to know… we really didn’t see this character fleshed out beyond that (not until you unlocked some of the **terminals and/or in Spartan Ops, at least) nor did we really FEEL like what he was trying to do was a major, Epic crisis (which, imo, is the bread and butter of Halo - major and Epic crisis is Chief’s 9 to 5) …we just were kind of told that he was going to do some majorly bad stuff.
Never really had a doubt that Chief would even struggle to best this new enemy. We’re used to seeing Chief battle an entire species or two at the same time… so, even though the Prometheans were the new bad guy army, they were essentially automotons and/or puppets with the Didact being the puppetmaster. Because he was the main “baddy” behind everything (the Architect notwithstanding), the temperature should have boiled here - not just been a little too warm for comfort. The rating of this guy on the monster meter should have been much higher, I think, achieved only by showing him carry out some horrible feat such as destroying another planet on his way to Earth…or wiping out half of a small UNSC fleet - which, I know, that’s somewhat ridiculous, but it would have raised the threat level BIG time.

(**Sidenote about terminals; I absolutely love how the terminals give you more of the story, but in H4, it seemed like terminals held necessary information that made sense out of some of the main story “gaps”, instead of just adding on to or explaining certain points of the story in more detail.
Feels like there was an assumption made that most players would be out to find all of the terminals, which I was, but a lot of other people probably were not. Because of this, I don’t think it’s wise to use the terminals for important information (though I love how they connected the story). I only say that because there were parts of the campaign here and there that probably remained confusing to a lot of players because they only found a couple of the terminals.)

There’s more to this, but I’m a little long-winded and tend to sidetrack myself, so, will cut it off here for now.

None of these are serious gripes or complaints, just things that need improvement. I think 343 made a solid, strong first effort at taking the reins and just feel that some of these sharp edges need to be smoothed out. H4 is a great game overall, but in comparison to previous HALOs, it’s about a B- …still good, but needs a little more work and polish.

Hey 343i I had some good ideas that came up to me so here it is! :smiley: Hope your having a great time with Halo ‘Rescue’ (instead of just Halo 5)!

I would like to see a lot more infected flood forms and see the gravemind again and I would like to see a lot more infected creatures like grunt flood forms, jackals, skirmishers, hunters, yes hunters, drones, prometheans, prophets etc. Also I would like to have stackable visions in the HUD, where while holding for example the left button on the D-pad we could stack different visions using A B X Y buttons as on/off button and of course there could be a tutorial at the beginning of the game so that the player may get used to it!

We could have nigth vision from Halo reach, enhance vision from Halo 3 ODST but without the blinding effect of day light but with more informations in the HUD like Halo CE telling at what distance is an enemy or weapon, equipment, vehicle from you just like at the start of the level truth and reconciliation when Cortana warns chief about the grunt going to the turrent, there we could see the distance he was at! Also we could have the Radar vision like the Xbox one Kinect, and infrared vision that lets you see some really blured out form behind a thin wall where the vision can sense it for a little time, and the flash light needs to come back just by tapping for example the left button on the D-pad that why button needs to have dual functions!

I would like to see a Halo ODST 2 with at least 3 times the campaign length and tree times the fun with vehicles, firefight like situations and I would so freaking love to be able to support a Spartan team or squad with my ODST team, maybe MC and his blue team! I would love to have more bags, kits etc for the armors like in Halo reach, usable thighs for reloading small weapons like Robocop because that’s the dual function of the thighs in the armors and I would like to see more functions too.

I would sooooo much want to ear much more drums, Monk chanting, and dramatic music like in Halo 2, 3, Wars, evolution series and ODST, because this is Halo music at its best, please no more soft music, what I mean by that is music that does not reflect the situation or the emotion, it can be soft but not lifeless or emotionless like in some tracks in Halo 4, it was just too casual for movies kind of music, I want something that will get me, something that will get my stress level up and put me in the game, music that has high pitch notes around 528 Hz which is the Solfeggio Frequency which puts sensations into the mix and with the other Solfeggios, 174Hz, 285Hz, 396Hz, 417Hz, 639Hz, 741Hz, 852Hz, 963Hz, learn this each frequency have their own properties, just need to find them and put them in the music! I want something alive again with monks chanting, rhythmic Haloish Drums with the Ultra famous Halo anthem back, I will not settle for less 343i!

I would like more authentic sound FX, evironment, scenery, weapons explosions and natural sounds, for Halo 4 we had the most rich sound FX, environment, scenery, weapons, explosions and natural but about a quarter of them sounded weird and funny! For example the Ghost sounded kind of right but whenever it rev up while using the boosters it sounded a little bit funny and buzzing but you guys had a nice touch to it with that warning alarm sound when its about to blow, really sweeeeet Tajeen and your team, same for every vehicle that’s bout to blow!

But now I would like to have a different warning sirens for each vehicles and have different categories of sirens for each faction like for the UNSC vehicles sirens like what we have in H4, for the covenant vehicles some kind of melodic bells sirens, for the Brutes vehicles some kind of howling and squeaking siren and for the Forerunners vehicles a fireman truck like sirens but much quieter! To come back with weird sound the FRG sound too mechanical with the firing mechanism, needs to revert back with the awesome blast it used to have but with a little more authentic & subtle mechanism sound!

The plasma pistol need to have the EMP charging sound a little less buzzy and a little more electrical buzzing like the fluorescent lights, also where is my metallic sound of the plasma grenade that stick to something with a nice loud beep upon contact with the blinding blue light in the HUD so that we know that we’ve been stuck, we may be ear it when we are the one who stick someone else but we don’t or barely ear it when we are the one who is stuck, also it doesn’t sound good in H4 it should be like Halo Legend the Prototype the ODST get stuck on his arm, that’s what I wanna ear in first person while playing and while I stuck people! Also the beam riffle needs a little more high pitch in the sound! The concussion riffle need that blast sound it used to have to restore fear in people eyes!

The gravity hammer sound ridiculous, it like I use a squeaky baseball bat toy, its not menacing and raging fear at each swing, this is a Brute Chieftan weapon it needs that gravity blast it used to have with a little more bass to it with and explosion like boommm that immitate the end of the world type of nuke, the warthog sound good but it doesn’t sound great, it sound like a extreme sport off road buggy, it needs to sound like a beefy American muscle truck Boosted with steroids, it got to sound like a Monster Truck like the Grave Digger with lot more bass and I would love to be able to use the music on my Xbox to play as music in the warthog like the Red team in Red vs Blue!

I would like to know why is the Elite in Halo 4 doesn’t have a fully inner suit and why is their armor stuck to their skin like their shoulder armor protection, this is not a beach party, its war and its suppose to be perfect, also I would like to know why is the Elites fingers are so thin like female hands with nice and pointy nails, this is illogical 343i, I would like to see them with a more male muscled hands with nails that aren’t black but a slight darker shade of their skin and please make them much more muscled with no arthritis or bumps to their skins because they got flawless skin only the male heads have bumps on them the same colors as their skin!

Also the feet of the Elites are way too big, it needs to be much more smaller like Reach, and its really ugly for them to have heels in their shoes they should have like small male heels and heavy duty threads stripes under their boots like army boots and they need the mini energy sword in their armor for sweeet assassinations like back in Reach! Also I would love to see the Elites have different standing poses where the legs are fully stretch when they are on duty and flex down in the middle part of their legs when they are just chilling or off duty, I wanna see those legs movement have a purpose and be recognizable!

This is Gundei opinion on how Halo 5 should be and its awesome!

Also I would like to mention that the famous Gundei hop or jump is awesome and this how I would enhance this feature make it so when we hit the joystick while we jump during the Gundei hop that our body actually crotch completely while we are in the air and that would make it awesome, Ty!

Hi 343i, hope your having a great time creating Halo 5, I’m having superb ideas for Halo 5, thanks for making the most epic & loving world even more freaking fantastic like a super power! Here’s some more of my epic ideas!

About how the Elite should look like in Halo 5, I’ve got an incredible idea that will define his facial feature, have them exactly like in Blade 3 where Dracula transform into a epic moster and open his jaw at precisely 4:26 in this video!Now do you see the resemblance with the Halo Reach Elite that’s IMO the most realistic Elite yet, please remember that all teeth needs to be vertical! Notice how the top jaw of Dracula is intact and have other retractable & smaller top jaws then the bottom with epic canine teeth, for the Elites that’s how I imagine the real elite faces with both the top jaw with all the teeth and retractable top jaws with big canines and the biggest canine at each end of that top jaw retractable from the gums that looks epicly menacing like vampires, also it is nice to add some little cute vent on top of the nose as nostril with a nice shape nose like the Avatar!

Also notice that the bottom jaw is not having all the teeth but the stationary part of the bottom jaws have teeth too and each retractable bottom jaws has teeth too and have also the big retractable canine teeth that are even more imposing then the top ones, and there is a middle part that have teeth in it too just where the tongue is, now that’s an epic face for an Elite, minus the big claws all over its face but only little ones on top of the head, and notice that he has his eyes in front of his face and not on the side because in biology, animal who have eyes on the sides are stupid animal who can’t focus their vision on something and intelligent ones have them in front of their faces, please remember that!

Also I would like to have a lot of armor accessories back, like in Halo 3 with the Katana & Halo Reach with all the bags, wrist armor, hips accessories, etc., we need variety just like with the armor effects also! I definitely want more melee weapons, at least 2 per faction specially for the UNSC and I want those that are armor base like the Katana to be usable when we’re out of amnos from all weapons and I want them to be unlockable through some kind of achievement, and for those who haven’t unlock anything, they could go with their own combat knife in a sweet karate pose like the energy sword, I really don’t want to see people still have their empty weapons in their hands anymore, so that people can see and notice those that don’t have any amnos, imagine the skill level of those competitive game that this will bring and its a whole new flavor to halo!

I would love to ear marine AI shout for joy whenever we make a huge jump in any land vehicles or loopings with aerial vehicles for those who can carry passengers, also many of the fans of Halo want to ear the grunts back in english, who cares about hearing them in their native languages, matter in fact the whole community want them to speak english, this is not Halo to ear them speak their native language, matter in fact that’s why Halo Reach wasn’t a success as it should be there was no funny lines that the Grunts used to say, just some repetitive mambo jambo that they keep saying over and over again, we want them to speak english again, matter in fact we want all the covenant to speak english again, so we may understand what they are saying, belive me when I say if they don’t speak english, people will not feel as connected as they used to know them and there will be much less interest on the whole universe of Halo, and less interest means less sale and less machinimas videos on anything Halo and less of those special funny videos about what the covenant are saying on Youtube, I remember those days back in Halo 3 and it was fun, now those days are gone and they need to come back its an imperative! Also if you guys started it all in their native language I would strongly advise you to hire a whole lot more people to turn it back to funny english lines for everyone, Ty so much!

I would love to be able to greet people with some random & welcoming gestures, dance, shake hands and dance with somebody like the greeks do, bump hands in a Hi5 manner or bump Fists and do a lot more awesome gestures that can be randomised by categories by holding down on the D-pad plus A, B, X, Y, right or left Bumper or Triggers within proximity of each other for some awesome interactions for Campaign, Custom Games, MM, & Forge, imagine how awesome this would be. Imagine the possibilities here and there will be a lot more machinimas videos, movies, stories that can be done with this and why not use Kinect to mimic what we do on the game in Forge that would blow my mind and Bring a lot more veterans back to the franchise, Please make this one happen for the fans!

I want to see for Halo 5 three kind of skulls, the classic ones like the ones we are used to, fun ones like the second category that we are used to like Grunt birthday party, IWHBYD, the skull that have been cut from Halo CEA the ‘‘Mouth Sound FX Skull’’ that replace any weapons, vehicles, explosions & Sound FX by sounds made by mouth, etc. and I want a third kind of skull that is ‘‘Physic Compromised’’ skull that change the experience of the game play like bandanna from Halo CEA, Malfunction, blind, cowbell, God mode skull, yes GOD MODE Skull, pinata, low gravity skull, panic skull where every enemy will panic and run away from you when they see you kind alike when MC Spawn in the throne room when they were Broadcasting in Halo 2, a random amno skull where whenever you pick up a weapon it shoots another amno from another weapons randomly, and a Gun Skull where whenever you kill an enemy you change weapon randomly that would be awesome, please add a lot more fun skulls that can be found in Campaign and make it so that it can stay in campaign so that we can chase after them again and again also I would love to see campaign add-ons where there is also hidden skulls and I want skulls that need some kind of a code to activate or find them just like in Halo 3 with the skull in the Halo activation room on the ark!

I want for Halo 5 better spawn system than what is in place in Halo 4, I want an improve bro spawn system like in Reach and I want spawns to generate spawns within the diameter of three grenade explosion where the system generate new spawn that is near at least one cover and that orientate its direction to the center of the room that it is at or the nearest exit or if its at an open place, it has to orientate itself to where the action is without facing a wall or anything or facing the middle of the map or the nearest enemy with intelligent spawns! Also the new spawn system needs to have these new rules, no spawning in the middle of nowhere without at least a cover and an exit really close by, no spawning two or three times in the same place, spawn A, B and C need to be different, Spawns should be close to where the player died with a cover, and bro spawn should be a priority, and player should have the choice to spawn where they want by random selection by the system!

I find in Halo 4 the Grunts are way too resistant to damage in general, what used to be a two or three body shots to kill a grunt is now five or six shots, it needs to go back at what it was in Halo 3 & Reach, also I want to be able to pop mask & their gas tanks and see them fly into the air and explode again also in Halo 3 there was some kind of algorithm that seems to make random weird & WTF moments to happen often, I want that back, like if you explode a aerial or land vehicle it would somehow happen to land on some enemy or ourselves!

Also when we used to throw stickies over long distances they would somehow find themselves stuck to someone much more often then in Halo 4, I want that aid algorithm to aid any kind of explosions, splattering objects, exploding vehicles, stickies, Goldberg effects to happen a whole lot more often etc., I want flipping in the air vehicles to have an awesome landing aid so we may land in style with a little bit of skills like in Halo 3 because in Halo 4 I don’t know what you did but its not as fun as it used to be, I also want some kind of willy & side willy aid much more present then H3 and I want a much more realistic gravity where things accelerate when they fall with the actual Earth gravity but I want explosion to be much more effective on vehicles so it may be fun again to play Halo!

Its an imperative, the Banshee needs to have all its maneuverability from Halo Reach & Halo 2 so that it can lift up in a high angle and go down in a really low angle and it needs to be able to fly very slow like in Halo 3 by moving the left thumb stick backward and its looping capabilities needs to be faster like Halo Reach with all the different style of loops and I want the ability to do diagonal loops by doing a side way loop and moving in diagonal backward or forward and I want the two different forward looping by using the left thumb stick forward while looping for a flip that end up two or three floors up or by moving the left thumb stick backward for a melee attack with the bottom of the Banshee on land vehicle that are a floor lower like in Reach and end up at the same level that I was in from the start! Also I want to mention that the Carbine needs to have its original reloading mechanism where the cover of the cartridge slide open when we reload and when we put the cartridge back the cover has to slide back to its original place, its much faster, more stylish & prettier this way and its Halo again! I also would love to see Cortana much more sarcastic with a lot more attitude like in Halo CE, 2, 3, with a lot more funny & sarcastic lines and I want her back to stay this time, forever!

<mark>For the Radar in Halo 5, I would like to have a height legend right beside the Radar on the left like a vertical rectangular that indicate the height level of an enemy or ally on the radar, where its a color pallet with their height indication in meters, the pallet would have +5M at the top of the pallet with a dark shade of gray for people above 5 meters then in the middle of the pallet is a 0 for people at the same floor as you are with a normal shade of gray and at the bottom of the pallet is a -5M for people that are 5 meters or more below you, and it would be a very light shade of gray. Now this pallet would be an indicator of how high is an opponent in the radar and it would be coupled with the HALO Reach Radar system where anyone is represented with a triangle if they are at least 1M above you and a lighter shade if they are at least 1M below you, now with the height indicator right beside it, it would be a no brainer to know in what height they are at, no more guessing like Halo 4 which was the most awful radar system which confuse the community all the time on guessing in what level is the enemy and its hard to read it on the go when your in a battle 1 vs 1!</mark>

Add an off topic section, to the forums, where members are free to discuss anything they want similar to the off topic threads. They can discuss anything from music, game, new movies, etc etc. They can ask the community what they though of last nights episode of the walking dead, or what they thought of Daft Punk’s new album. This in turn would keep the forums cleaner and people can post these subjects there instead of posting them here and in turn them getting locked. People could joke around and have fun, maybe someone just need someone to talk to, then they can do that. It would change these forums from a “Halo Community” to a “Gaming Community”.

Hello 343i, today I had a few great ideas to share, hope you’ll implement them in the game!

First I would love to have campaigns like COD & Battlefield, because they are epic, they bring scale to a whole new dimension to the game also the variety of scenarios are amazing, and they take in consideration gravity in their campaign mission, for instance in their mission if there is an explosion, everything is happening in FPS and not in a video and if they fall big time, it happen in real time & big time like in their trailers! Do you see where I’m going with it, I wanna see epic battles, submarine invasion, riding an helicopter in FPS and other vehicles in FPS, being the gunner of a tank in FPS, having drones and tactical remote controlled mini warthog for recon purposes and slaying purposes, I wanna see the HUD with a whole lot more information then what it has currently and I want all of these information to matter just like in vehicles like in Battlefield, Halo has yet to feel real to me, for now it’s just a really addicting game that has yet to be taken to the seriousness that it deserve, it’s just a game and now it needs to feel like the actual real life experience!

I would like to see dual wielding in the passenger seat, it’s an imperative, it must be there, with the ability to keep both weapon when we melee and switch to secondary weapon or enter any vehicles, also I would like to have a slight assist for all sticky grenades, for example if the H2 glow surrounding the plasma grenade touch someone, the plasma grenade will stick to them, if the top of the spike grenade barely miss a player, it will stick to them, same for the incendiary grenade and any other sticky grenade you might add! I would love to have faster weapon switch in general like Dexterity, and please keep the long reload for only when we are out of an encounter or when we are not getting shot at, Ty! Again I would like an grenade explosion assist so that the grenade can explode to the closest that it can be to the enemy that we throw it at and also I would like for the frag grenade to have a special assist so that when it bounce off an enemy it will explode the closest to that enemy, that will bring so much more utility to the frag grenade also the frag grenade should have similar bounces on different surfaces that have up to 10% difference between all hard surfaces at the most and the soft surfaces like snow, grass and sand should not absorb the ricochet of that grenade, it should have a difference of up to 15% max from a hard surface! I still want my frag grenade to bounce & move forward without getting stuck where it land because it would make that frag useless!

Also I would like to bring back the original announcements of Jeff Steizer from Halo Reach Back because I just don’t feel the new ones, because I remember my old ‘‘Double Kill, Triple Kill, Overkill, Killing Spree…, and my Flag Drop, Flag Taken, Flag Drop, Flag Captured…’’ please Tajeen this one is for an epic an nostalgic Community that wants Halo the way it was, also redo the new announcements that wasn’t in Halo Reach with a greater sampling rate, sound card and Microphone, like the Shure KSM 44 which is impartial, because the announcements in Halo 4 sound a little boxy compared to Halo 3 & Reach, Ty!

OMG, I got an amazing idea for kinect, since kinect 2.0 can recognize facial expression, you can use it to identify which level in campaign, MM, Firefight, Custom Games and theaters that was most appreciated by the community (and you can add a lot more options and new tools to theater like COD Ty!) and with it you could also verify which gun was most appreciated and which equipment, AA, vehicle, grenade, etc. was most appreciated by the community and which wasn’t and you can evaluate any part of the game through the community via Kinect and at the same time have an incredible feedback on the game for future games, game add-ons, map pack or any other goodies that you may release in the future and you can even link that with smartglass, imagine imagine the possibilities here, you can built a little facial expression recognition software in the game improve the overall experience of other games at the same time!

First the War Sphinx should have three War modes, first a flying mode, second a standing mode like we saw in the Halo Xbox One trailer with its wide open wings or on its back if now in use, third a beast mode like a pegase and each mode would have its own awesome set of 3 weapons, but first let’s talk about the flying mode, it would have the ability to fly faster then a banshee and be able to do stationary flight & for the weapons it would have a burst of vertical 5 Forerunner Missiles that could lock on any enemy vehicles and it reload every 5 seconds, second is an Forerunner array like the H3 Scarab that can fire for 4 seconds and reload in 4 seconds, third is a Forerunner turrent that fire like the Suppressor and reload like the Banshee Turrent! In the flying mode it could have the ability to grab enemy aerial vehicles and destroy them or throw them onto other vehicles or players.

The second mode which is the standing mode as in the Halo Xbox One trailer, it would be able to walk as fast as the Mantis and be able to stomp enemies also and even be able to grab enemy aerial vehicle close to it in the air and destroy them or throw them onto other enemies or enemy vehicles, for the weapons first it would have a 3 times bigger Binary Riffle shot that disintegrate anyone like the Binary riffle but would need at least three shots to kill a tank class, it would have three shot before reloading and it would take 3 seconds to reload when empty and 2 seconds if not, the second one would be a wave blast like in the Halo Xbox One trailer but this blast would much more powerful & only affect what’s in front of it and not what’s behind it, it would fire the blast for up to 3 seconds and reload in 7 seconds, then the third weapon on this mode would be throwing a huge Pulse grenade the size of a tank the same way that the prometheans knight do but this time with both wings and each grenade would explode in 3 seconds and would have the ability to take out a tank! Also if the War Sphinx receive 60% damage or more to his legs this mode would be disabled but both the beast mode and the flying mode would be available they haven’t receive too many damage or if the wings aren’t destroyed for the flying mode!

The third mode of the War Sphinx would be the beast mode with the wings on its back like a pegase, it can run for 7 seconds and fly also, it can grab enemy vehicles also, it fires bolts like the boltshot but in a burst firing mode like the BR, it can take out a tank like the BR take out an enemy player and reload in 3 seconds, second weapon is 6 Forerunner rockets that can be fired individually or in a burst mode like the rockets on the Mantis and reload like it too. The third weapon is a Forerunner Railgun that act like the UNSC Railgun and take 2 seconds to reload.

Also to destroy a War Sphinx, it would be similar to the Scarab, you damage it enough so it can temporarily be disable, then you get on it kill the crew of 10 - 15 Prometheans with at least two Knights and 1 Boss Knight then drive it or kill the core which would be located at the back like the H3 Scarab!
