Halo 4 does not properly display Teleporter status. There are many cases where Teleporters work, yet appear to be off – Sender Nodes that have valid exits, and can send players, but do not have the purple aura that signifies that they are working.

The bug affects individual nodes, not linked sets. The first time I saw this, the Sender had no aura but its connected Receiver did. Nodes can be affected regardless of whether or not they, or the nodes they are connected to, are Placed at Start.

This bug was not caused by lag, and its effects don’t seem to synch. It can occur both in Custom Games and within single-player Forge sessions (where modifying the node’s properties did nothing to fix it – the node itself was a visual dud).

I’m loving the new Team Regicide. But one thing I don’t like is having the crown taken from me while being the king.

I’m not trying to be selfish here, but to me it doesn’t scream teamwork at all. I was the king for quite a while, I was probably only 10 or 20 seconds from getting damage boost but then suddenly the crown was taken from me by another teammate and that’s kind of unfair if you ask me.

Teammates should only take the crown from you when you die, not while you play.

Today I wanna talk about what could make the game a lot better and what doesn’t make it Superb & Super Awesome, here they are:

Now the cons:

1- Halo 4 isn’t quite Halo yet, let me explain, its definetly the best overall but its not quite the full experience we’ve come to know and love, where we would not have all of the excitement that we would expect in Multiplayer Matchmaking in Halo 4 due to the lack of gametypes, where in Reach we would have a lot of gametypes that made Halo famous with a Sh** load of community gametypes in the community playlist (Action sack) like Team Fiesta (extremly popular), Team Sumo, Hockey, HaloBall, Grifball, etc.

2- Infinity Slayer will never replace Regular Team Slayer, I know that Infinity slayer is popular specialy in BTB but in my defense I was so in need of regular Slayer that I had to go back to Halo Reach to get my fix, and the dosage was good in my Elite Slayer with a 35 kills match that I saved even doh I had to go back to Reach Bloom again but I got used to it pretty quickly. Same thing for Regicide & team regicide, because a point base gametype will never replace the real thing, and I know it has to do with the canons of the ship Infinity but even the Spartans on board Infinity would get tired of Infinity Slayer and would request the Regular Slayer to Commander Palmer.

Now the point system in those gametypes need to be adjusted because its not about skills but instead its about the way you kill the opponent which doesn’t make too much sense to me, because a noob could accidently finish a skilled player who was in a skilled encounter and that nood would get 15 to 35 pts for that kill because he killed him in a some way in a some specific time which doesn’t make sense to me and a skill player who killed the opponent the same way but in a different circumstance would get only 5 to 15 pts. Instead the system should analyse the amount of shots used, the amount of shots missed & hit and with some kind of skill parameters would would determinate the amount of points it needs to add to the base points of each basic medals, for example each trigger actions like, head shot, headcase, first strike, generic kill, etc. that has a direct effect would have a value of 5 pts, and could increase due to some skill parameters & combos to 10 pts like speed of kill, percentage accurate shots, grenade use & grenade kill, EMP discharge used, vehicle kill, etc.

Then there would be timed medals like double kill, triple kill, assists, distractions, assassination, etc. that would be 5 to 15 pts depending on the skills, combos with other basic medeals, then there would be the circumstance medals like kill from the grave, hijack, skyjack, revenge, etc. that would be worth 10 to 15 pts depending of the skill & combos with the basic medals, then there would be the style points for the style medals like Flying High, perfection, etc. all of these would be worth 15 pts. but make sure that everyove would have the same amount of pts for the skill & combos they use instead of having predeternined points for every medals, that would be much more just for everyone!

3- The best way to have the best Halo would be to:
1-Start with Halo 3 at the Base!
2-Use the Halo 3 Skill system and Improve it to be a little easier to rank up only a little bit.
3-Have the same experience points as Halo 3 with the double EXP Weekends but now that experience system would be known as field experiences just to defferenciate it from the Halo 4 EXP system and we would use both of them for different purposes, the Halo 3 EXP System for a skill ranking system and Halo 4 Exp system for Challenges, Spartan Poins & acquiring new armor.
4-Same Halo Reach Matchmaking technics for lightning fast matchmaking but with the skill system to it.
5-Vehicles that have the same durability & stability as Halo 3 but with the same gravity physics as Halo 4.
6-No Bloom like Halo 4 but with great weapons range, power & hitscan as halo 4.
7-Have ALL PREVIOUS Halo vehicles in the game or at least the most popular and then have vehicle pack release free to the public.
8- Have lots of differents & old Halo gametypes specially Team Slayer, lone wolf, Regular BTB, and a looooot of community gametypes like Team Sumo & Team Fiesta, and make sure that infinity slayer gametypes & regicide gametypes stay as gametypes and not as all the slayer gametypes even dow youre trying to put the infinity & regicide in the canons of the infinity multiplayer, know that it is not the only gametypes the is in multiplayer, please!
9-Make sure to bring back weapons spawns like in previous games and remove random drop from MM, because it is a skilled game & gametypes but we can keep the random weapons drop for custom games but we should keep the personal weapons drops because its innovative and will bring Halo to a new level of skill gaming.
10-Bring all the weapons form all the previous games with a great range as Halo 4.
11- Bring back all the ennemies from previous games and make sure that they are playable in MM.
12- Make sure that we get a multi team gametype where each team is a different spieces, (Spartans, Elites, Brutes, Promethean Knight, that would be awesome.

Pros:

1- I looooooooooooove the weapons sounds, we should keep Tajeen & gave him a golden throne, but please Tajeen, for the vehicles make them more authentic & beefy as we know them & love them.

2- I love the graphics they are amazing!

3- Love the Scale of the game and I would advise to go alot bigger, without taking out some of the most useful features & tools of what previous game had to offer specially in Forge!

4- I love the new engine of the game, its super epic.

5- I love the new & more authentic shape of the Spartans but I strongly dislike the shape & size of the armors, they are ridiculously reduce & small, really it should be like the Mark IV but instead its like they put their armor in the dryer machine and it shrunk ridiculously small, its not adequate for Halo but the inner suit is sweet and there should be a lot more of those inner with slight differences in style to defferentiate them due to the difference of their abilities, strengh, mobility, durability, reaction time, etc. so that it could give the Spartan that will wear it slight advantages like the AAs, really imagine the possibilities here!

Would love to see binary team snipers come into the playlist.

This game type looks really fun from the videos that were posted and playing it in custom games.

I’ve only started playing online in recent months, but have been a fan of Halo for years. I’ve found that Halo’s community is as diverse as the many creatures in the Halo universe. But more importantly, I’ve learned that the players that I’ve encountered are as unique as the races of the Covenant itself.

For example, some players are like Sangheili. They are noble and skillful at the art of warfare. They fight with a passion and long for an opponent that will take them to the next level. Fortunately, you can sometimes get these players to loose their temper and force them to make stupid mistakes.

Then there are players like the Jiralhanae. I find these players to be as fierce a competitor as a Sangheili player (and equally effective) but at the same time often not as elegent. And I have found myself splattered, pummeled, and rocketed a few times by these players in the past. I think their moto must be “Power through!”, because these players keep coming at you, even though you’ve unloaded clip after clip trying to take them down. A very intimitating player indeed.

Other players are like Kig-Yar though. These are players who excel at hunkering down behind barriers and attacking at you from a distance. These players are tough to take out behind their protection. But once you got them out in the open, they are much easier to defeat. The trick with fighting this player is finding out what will get them drop their defenses.

Then there are players like the Mgalekgolo. These players fight along side their teammates (often from the same clan). They will defend or attack you collectively as a team. So imagine four to eight players working together as a team, with one objective and goal in mind. Tough to beat, huh? And you will almost always fail if you run at these players directly, especially by yourself. Now you may be able to take down part of this attacking force and do some damage, but you will usually be taken down quickly in the process.

Let’s see. Then there are Yanme’e type players. These are the players that you see jumping around all over the place. They never stand still for every long. And like their Covey counterpart, you will even see them flying from place to place. These fast moving players are quite difficult to target, almost frustratingly so. They do stand still sometimes, and that is when you need to pounce on them. Though I have been lucky a few times and taken out a few of these players with a headshot or some splash damage.

On occassion, I do see a Huragok type player too. These are the ones that really don’t fight much. They try to stay hidden most of the battles and assist the others when possible. That said, Huragok are great at distracting opponents though. I think there are some players who will go out of their way to look for Huragok type players, hoping for an easy opponent to take down.

But I’ve also discovered that, some of these Huragok types might actually be San’Shyuum type instead, coordinating from behind the lines especially in games like capture the flag, oddball, and king of the hill. So you go after the opponent thinking they are Huragok types, but then find that their teammates are lined up to take you down instead. Ouch!

So I suppose that just leaves the Unggoy type player, another popular targetted opponent. These are players are better equipped to fight back themselves, but are unfortunately, not very good at it. These are the players that sort of stumble their way through the battle field. Sometimes they get a good shot in or maybe a lucky stick with a grenade. But often these players end up being cannon fodder for the opponents. I’m not entirely sure why, but these players have a lot of heart. I mean, they keep playing, failed attempt after failed attempt, against superior forces.

But yeah, I’ve met quite a few people online playing the various Halo games in recent months. I’ve experienced things ranging from very talkative sessions to silent treatment sessions. I’ve gone from been complimented for helping out the team to being kicked from a game because my muted Kinect microphone (which is a lot harder to get back to unmuted than I thought) was considered “rude”. I’ve had great fun one time, but then I’ve had times where I wanted so badly to rage quit.

Halo was so many things to me before I went online (games, movies, comics, cooks, achievements, challenges, etc.). It’s become infinitely more now, because I’m finding that the Halo community is so much more.

Halo 4 seems to be great so far,but I am worried about the “Custom Games” options for Flood. I am very limited on what I can change, the game mode seems to be a ‘step down’ for Infection, I do hope 343 will update the custom options or add in the old Infection as a seperate game mode. Infection kept Halo 3 alive for a long time, and I still have great memories of the Halo 3 custom games, I would like to say the same thing about Halo 4.

Hi 343i, how you been lately?

I had some issues that were going on in my mind, and I know that the next game will be for the Xbox 720 so I would like to encourage you guys to never hold back and give all the ideas that you got even the wild ones and please make it an authentic experience again because in Halo 4 it was just about 85% authentic where the game wouldn’t have all the gametypes, vehicles, tools & option that we’ve come to know & love but only about 85% of them.

Now I would like to talk about the Elites, they were really the less authentic & most ugly ones up until now, Reach ones were the most real ones to date, and the skins of them in Halo 4 is ridiculus really but I super love the graphic details in their skin and not the craters bumps that they have, thats for the Grunts really with no arthistis in their wrists with lot more definition in their really large muscles (like this), so for the perfect Elite it would be best to use the cinematic body of the Halo wars Elite with a little less neck with the sexiness the the body of the Arbiter in Halo 2 but with the face of the Reach Elite with a large Bottom jaw lip and 4 Big jaws that closes complely like the Arbiter in the Halo Legends the Dual, basically a head & face like this Arbiter in Halo Legend but really cute looking like Halo Reach Elite, plus the full mouth & jaws of the Elite have to be fully fonctionnal and must by all means have a tangue for full fonctionnal purposes

because you cannot talk or make any sound or even eat without a tangue and he need also a bottom lip that closes the mouth (like this) so that the Elite could have full coherent words that come out of his mouth when he speaks (like this)and most importantly he needs to have four retractable claw like big tooth at the extremity of each of his 4 jaws for the authentic purpose of the canon, because the Elite were created off the predator and because he has 4 retractable claw tooth and this gave the Elite more authenticity with them, also their Iris need to be a cross between a feline iris & a Human iris, where its kind alike a slightly rounded feline iris that doesn’t quite touch the extremity of the eyes and their skins need to be perfectly smooth with no imperfections but with a really dark cream to tan color! So the perfect Elite would look exactly like this plus all the other things I said!

For the Grunts, I would appreciate that you would give them the exact same head & neck size as in Halo 3 but I like the smile that you give them in Halo 4, its really authentic same as the iris and I really love the Homer weird looking look you gave them with one eye looking in one direction and the other looking the opposite way, its awesome and the rest of the body is perfectly done, well done everyone! For Brutes, you had them perfectly done in Halo 3 & Halo wars & that it!

Ok, I will try and keep this simple, I will link you to my thread in Halo 4 here.

This will be a condensed version of it. Though my thread has done quite well and I would suggest giving it a look.

This is all about the warthog. I would say it’s safe to say the warthog is the staple of Halo. It’s just so ingrained into the life blood of Halo that it can’t be taken away or irretrievably changed which is why I’m bringing this up here and now after throughly testing the 'Hog.

The issues as follow are:

  • The turret is weaker than in previous games. Which would have been ok if not for the beloew two points.

  • People can spawn with both Plasma Pistol and up to 3 stickies whenever they want.

  • When you add the above two points, the warthog becomes a death trap on most maps, and moderetly useful and on the edge of not being useful at all.

I have used the wheelman extensively. You still have the same probability of getting double stuck after being EMP’d.

It’s just not what it was and I would like it to be what it was, because that was what BTB was all about to me. Get some awesome wheelmans and kills, the satisfaction of outplaying the enemy, or countering them with another warthog or laying in wait to stop them in their tracks.

Now after I get killed with one, I just spawn in my anti-vehicle class and promptly dispose of them very shortly.

Hi 343i, happy holidays & Happy new year!

First:

Weapons: All the weapons from Halo 3, Halo 4 with the needle riffle but with the range & power of Halo 4

Vehicles: All the vehicles from Halo 3 & 2 with the mantis, the revenant & falcon with some Forunner vehicles too but all of them with the damage resistance of Halo 3 & 4.

Armor Abilities: All AAs from Halo Reach & Halo 4 but with the recharging & utilization time of Halo Reach except for Sprint, and Prometheans vision that would stay as it is in Halo 4 & thruster pack as it was at the Pax event but with the option of enabling FPS or TPS view when we move.

We need more guns like more then twice of what we had in Halo 4.

As of the design of the game User Interface & menus, Use the Halo 3 UI with the Halo Reach amount of details, options & informations, remove all of the Windows 8 UI style of square icons because its ugly, its not Halo, and Windows 8 is not popular at all so you don’t want the fame of Windows 8 to screw the fame of Halo.

For the Player Cards, the stances are really nice but there should be at least 2 - 3 times more stances and here’s what will bring this to another level, have animated stances but make sure that there are at least 3 - 4 times more, also for the armor, I like the fact that there was more accessories for the helmet & the thighs in Halo Reach, now I do understant that in Reach the suit needed some telecommunication amplifiers for the antenna since it was an older version of the suit but the Spartan 4s there could be different caps for the helmets with a reinforced shield on top of the helmet just like in Reach, also I really really like the katana in Halo 3, I really wish to see other melee weapons that we can have on our back just as Halo 3 again, ty!

Matchmaking Playlists: They should be like Halo 3 where there was two playlist, one Ranking playlist and one social playlist and here’s what will bring it to another level is to have one community playlist for the best maps, gametypes, etc. of the community with Action Sack & Team Fiesta & Maption Sack, Grifball, Hockey and Team Sumo!

Its really not a good idea to have all the gametypes as an individual part of the MM playlist, instead all the simular gametypes should be in one playlist name like Team slayer, Team objective, Lone Wolf, Team Classic, BTB, Etc. that would have a bunch of the same style of gametypes together, it takes out the fun of playing games & meeting new people the way it is as seperate names in the playlist and it make the game much more monotone & unpleasant and that why people would want to go back to Halo Reach even its the worst of the Halo, its because reach is more fun in that matter. Also please make sure to disable private chat in MM because it bring much more fun to the experience & you get to meet a lot more people this way, imagine the mariages & the relationships that your gonna extinguish & annihilate if you don’t because Halo is about fun & meeting new people that will be friend & perhaps more!

One glorious thing that got to stay is pressing ‘‘X’’ to respawn in slayer games because its fun and awesome! Also One thing that must also go is the joining games in progress, it was ok the the first 10 times but its a total pain to be polite the last couple of hundreds times it happen, and Im sure its extremly frustrating for the community also and its one of the things that got to go, speaking of things that got to go, heres another, whenever we use to get shot in previous games our speed used to decrease by about 5% and it was ok but now in Halo 4 its 15% and its highly frustrating so please bring it back to its normal state, thank you!

I love Halo 4 very much but some little things make it out of place, somewhat off & less authentic, also bring back all the team slayer because infinity slayer & regicide ain’t quite what Original Slayer is and it would be very much appreciated, also please copy & paste the exact physic & reactions of the grenades in Halo 3 to Halo 4 & beyond because it was perfect periode, ty so very much!

  1. I’d like to talk about what Halo 5 should need:

It need all the equipments of Halo 3 back but better tweeked like regenerator just the way it was in Halo 3 where it was hard to kill someone in it and with the visual & sound effect of Halo 4 but as an equipment.

The drainer would make a come back excatly as it is!

The Gravity lift also would come back as it is in Halo 3!

The Flare would come back with only a 2 - 3 seconds flash but with a Rocket radius effect of a disappearing HUD with lots of parasites for 5 - 7 seconds.

The Jammer would come back as the HUD Jammer where the reticle would disapear or as the malfunction skull in the Halo CEA and also as blurring effect on the HUD and many other jamming effects on the HUD.

Also there would be the multiplicator hologram that would multiply 5 other (you) around you and would act like us or as a support AI shooting fake bullets & throwing fake grenades and even do fake assassination where at the end of the assassination the assassinated player would come back alive as if nothing happen.

There would be also the prank camouflage where the player who use this equipment would turn into a vehicle like the mongoose, warthog or a ghost etc, only when the player would not move or so just like the original camouflage but when he start to move we would get to see him again for about the same lenght as the camouflage time, imagine the possibilities here!

Also Imagine having teleportation equipment where it would last for 20 - 30 sec. where it would be use like the hologram while using the reticule as a teleportation target where whenever you use it in this time span you could teleport as much as you want and it would take half a sec. to teleport, imagine the awesome gameplay you would get with that equipment!

Also how about the ability to have two different AA on the suit and be able to switch AA and use them one at a time!

Also Sprint & Evade should be together where pushing down on the left joystick while moving foward should activate Sprint & pushing down on the left joystick & while moving in any direction or twice forward would activate Evade and we should get two uses before depletion of 2 seconds and both of them should be exactly like Halo Reach for the Evade & Halo 4 for the sprint, imagine the gameplays.

And the Thrusters AA would still be an AA but would help you get over a small gap everytime like twice the actual lenght of the final thrusters distance in Halo 4 and it would be perfect.

Bubble shield would have to comeback but exactly as what it was in Halo reach but as an Equipment object as in Halo 3 and it would be perfect and probably a little longer in the usage time.

now I can’t stress that enough we need all of the previous cool vehicles like:

The Hornet, the Chopper, the Spectre, the Prowler, the Falcon, the Revenant, the Mantis, the Elephant, the Mammouth, the Mongoose, the Ghost, the Banshee, the warthog, the Motocycle (yes I’ve seen it, bring it in), the Space Banshee, the Longsword, etc.

And the most important part is to have at least 3 - 4 time as much weapons as in Halo 4 and here is the trick to create new ones, just merge two favorite weapons together or two class of weapons together or bring back some fail version of weapons from previous games that didn’t make the cut and make it happen.

Please, bring back all of the grenade types: Spike, Incendiary, Pulse, Frag, Plasma and please add new ones like the EMP Grenade that appear in the Headhunter serie in Halowaypoint and specially my favorite grenade, the instant Cooling grenade that would act like the incendiary grenade but with a completly different effect where it would use liquid nitrogen to instantly freeze the ennemy and any liquid that would still remain on the floor could potentially freeze the ennemy, it would act as the incendiary grenade but would give the exact opposite effect, think about it, it would be awesome!

I would love it if armour was designed to benefit the certain aspects of combat.
IG soldier has better protection that recruit and war master is greater than both.It believe it would both improve gameplay and activity.

Here is some of my concern for Halo 5:

Make Halo 3 exactly as it is but with Sprint from H4 & Evade as two default AAs as one because no one wants to be limited in their movements not even the pros for Halo 5!

Then continue with AAs: Jetpack from Halo Reach and the rest from Halo 4 & thruster in first person view that is as great as the E3 build, with a teleportation AA that didn’t make it in the final Halo 4 but is in scrip code source of Halo 4 and the hacking AA that didn’t make it in the final Halo 4 where you could hack someone else AA and mimic it.

Then since the librarian accelerated John 117 gene code, I think that he would have some super human power like the Didact like telekinesis, and other kinesis power like pyrokinesis or terakinesis where he could create quicksand from the ground and buried his ennemies in the ground.

Then how awesome it would be to be able to have lots of button combinason for multiple purposes, for example would it be great to hit run and then hold the ‘‘A’’ Button to slide and still be able to shoot in any directions, also would it be awesome to jump and then hold '‘A’'Button to climb the edge of a roof or wall and make a barrel roll with it while you climb, that would be awesome, then would it be sweeeet to be able to run on the wall for a fraction of a second by running near a wall then hold ‘‘A’’ button to ‘‘Free Run’’ on the wall for upto a second, that would be so Spartanish & Freaking sweet, imagine the possibilities here!

Then the weapon range should be exactly between Halo 3 & Halo 4 because I find that in Halo 4 the range of weapons is too great and too precise which doesnt gave room to skills & creativity but more to precision, but please do not make that mistake to think that precision and rate of fire is skills alone, there is alot more to skills like how you can dodge ennemies shots, jumping, grenades, ninja jumps & assassinations, melees, covers, AAs kills, vehicle kills, equipment kills and so much more!

And yeah please bring back all the equipments of Halo 3 and please don’t make them into AAs and weapons placement should be like Halo 3 but only support weapons which is more powerful then Assault & precise weapons but less powerful then Power weapons should be in random drops, like the concussion riffle, the sticky detonator, the grenade laucher, the bruteshot, the needler, the saw, the focus riffle, etc, and personal ordonace drops would still remain! And specially resuply should not be a support upgrade it should be like it was in Halo 3 where everyone who dies drop everything, weapons, grenades, equipments and AAs, and each one should last at least 45 sec. to a min. before they dissapear and each of them should have an extended one time 15 sec. if the previous time expire for those who enter a grenade radius to the item so that this item don’t just dissapear right before his eyes before they could pick it, it would be a prevention timer!

Also the H3 grenades physics is, was & always will be perfect, in all their ways, so please copy the physics, the way they travel in the air and the way it bounce with the number of bounces before they explode, everything exactly like Halo 3 & please make sure that from all the surface in which they bounce from don’t differentiate more than 15% from the good old concrete bounce and make the throw & the distance travel & the curve at which they travel in the air is like Halo CE because it rocks how we use to throw in CE.

Then in MM, please make sure that instead of having a playlist of names of each gametypes, we regoup the gametypes in playlists like ‘‘Team Assault’’ where all loadouts would only have automatic weapons as primary weapons and side arm weapons like the magnum, boltshot & plasma pistol with no precision weapons like the BR, DMR, Lightriffle, and there would be also ‘‘Team Precision’’ where it would be the same as ‘‘Team Assault’’ but instead of having automatic primary weapons there would be precision weapons like the BR, DMR, Lightriffle, Carbine, etc, then there would be ‘‘Team Objective’’, ‘‘Team Snipers’’ where there would be as gametypes in that playlist team Snipers with only sniper riffle & a side arm weapon, team Beam Riffle with a side arm weapon, team Binary Riffle with a side arm weapons, team sniper pro with only Sniper riffles & Beam Riffles as loadouts, then the 343i team Binary Riffle Sword, that would be super epic. Then there would be BTB, Rumble Pit, Lone Wolf for the Rank playlists just like in H3 and so on.

Then I would bring back all weapons from all Halo Games and all vehicles too and with all grenades too, then I would make about 25% more of them in each category and please make more arial vehicles. Then I would bring back all skulls from all previous games and add 25 % more and make sure that the quest to get them is both challenging to get and replayable infinitly then I would do the same for the terminals and this time I would make sure in those terminals that I could select either a video or a data pad or audio file from a diary that I could play in that same terminal for more interaction and canons in the story of the univers and why not have a piece of puzzle in each of those terminal that could indicate the location of another restricted location terminal that we could find in the game and also each terminal would have a code we could use to unlock some prises in Halowaypoint, that would be super awesome!

Then I would want much more Suuuuuper grand scale battles like in ‘‘the Lord of the Ring’’ with all the creatures of Halo, much more bigger & better then Halo 4 with much more sky diving infiltration, motocycle & other vehicles fast pace runs, drive by, vehicles vs vehicles fights, rope riding like in going down snow mountains gondolas or ropes with equipments and do some rope combat acrobaties, etc, faster pace driving in FPS style & shooting & flying aircraft etc, throught buildings, other vehicles, other vessels & infiltrate them, and so much more of All the awesome stunts in the COD Campaigns because they are awesome. Because COD have always had all the awesome Campaign stunt in terms of only stunts, scale & fast pace vehicle gameplay but not in term of actual gameplay except this time Halo 4 has surpass Cod in terms of all & awesomeness and also Halo in general has always had much better online gameplay & replayable value. So please upgrade the scale, Really Fast Gameplay & First Person View Stunts for Halo 5 to the Freaking Super Extreme even if you have to lower a little bit the graphic, because they are already super extreme!

Then the colors, its good to make them pop like they are but its more important to make them real over over saturation like in Halo 2 & 3 but not over saturated like Halo 4 and specially not under saturated like in Halo Reach! And the most important thing would be to have a lot more controls configurations by adding those that are the most suggested by the community and specially the ones that resemble most to Halo 1 default controls, Halo 3 default controls & Halo 3 Bumper Jumper which are specially the most popular one and add a lot of them in Halo 5 just like you did for Halo CEA.

PS:Please bring back the DOUBLE EXP WEEKENDS & please make sure that saving recent gameplays stays in theaters with unlimited savings & a U-Turn button, please!

I have been hollering about my personal gripe with the warthog, plasma pistol and stickies for some time, and now my thread has over 100 ‘thanks’. And at the very least that should deserve a look at from 343i.

And I would personally like some sort of acknowledgment on this, whether it can be fixed, tweaked or nothing can be done, because I’ve spent a lot of time working on a good thread to try and fix something that’s been so important in the Halo Matchmaking experience since day one.

And I’ve seen 343i has gone from “silent observers” to highlighting themselves when they post just to prove they’re actively involved in the community.

Lastly, I have sent links out to a couple members of 343i regarding my link, and as stated before, I will do the ‘Shawshank Redemption’ thing and send a message once a week until someone responds.

Hello 343i, how you doing? I’m doing great!

I was wondering why did you not put team throwback as team slayer from the beginning because this is Halo and then put infinity Slayer as a separated game type, now I feel like I’m back in Halo again!

Now there’s just some minor physics issues like why can’t we go in the same direction after we’ve slightly bump on something while we are in the air while using the jetpack, because its a jetpack not wiring from some special FX Movie, because in movies the wiring would make us fly in the other direction instead of the direction we want to go but in real life a real jetpack would make us go the direction we want to go, really I can’t even begin to recall all the times I could have avoid death because of that phenomenon, clearly Halo Reach jetpack physics were much better and I’m not even starting to talking about the thrust power of the jetpack which in my opinion should be at least 20% faster and the usage time of the jetpack IMO is ridiculously too short, I know that you didn’t want people to rain death on the plebians below but it should have had a least 3 more sec.

Other issues, would be that any bump smaller than a foot that might come in your way while you’re walking or running will cut you short to a complete stop, because of computers physics, but in reality anyone would just step over it like its no big deal, really this is something that should have been in the game a long time ago. Also I wanted to mention that the weapons, grenades etc that a player drops on the ground when he die disappear way too fast and I mean way too fast, really it should be about 1.2 times more than what was in Halo 3 for both weapons, grenades and equipments.

Also, it is important to be able to climb, look at Crysis, it has been a feature since its been release and its the most incredible feature they have, now image the day that Halo would have such feature, it would be both beneficial to the game and the Halo community. Now you to understand that the biggest deal in Halo is the freedom of movements and if your restrict the community’s movement it will inevitably ruin the flow of the game and lets not even talk about the frustration of players trying to bend those rule, I’d say give everyone climbing & Sprinting but seriously it should be at least 12 sec. & 10% faster and if a player start sprinting again after depletion they should be able to sprint for at least 4 sec. and then it would have the same recharging rate as Halo 4.

Also sliding should be part of Halo while using the left joystick while running, you hold it to slide, it would bring Halo to a whole new level and it would be amazing if we could be shooting at the same time as sliding, it would be perfection.

Add these 343i and you will have no complaints about movements in future Halos, now is something I wanted to talk about for a long time, I belive Halo should Halo a lot more melee weapons because there is a great lack of it, and they should have specs like weapons, perhaps range, damage, stability, accuracy, etc, really there should be a lot more melee weapons, please bring in the game the Famous Spartan Machette & the Katana, also it would be sick to bring back the Elite Spear from Halo Wars Cinematic and much much more!

Also one thing I’ve preferred to see is the falcon instead of the Mantis, why you ask, its because there is much more fun to pack more people in a vehicle than just one and go on a Road Trip to do Killing Frenzy all over the place or maybe do some Falcon vs Falcon fights, I’m not saying that the Mantis was a bad idea on the contrary it was a great idea (but I preferred the original design from the Halo Legends) but what I’m saying is just that the Falcon would have giving a better fun ratio than the Mantis and it is highly mobile & an aerial vehicle that can carry two gunners, so see the math here, and the Banshee is less fun by being slower in its aerial maneuvers and cannot do stationary flight, so Falcon win all the way, but I understand that you had to do some sacrifices put on the new stuff first, but please don’t do that anymore or for anything else!

Also I wanted to specially mention that in the future Halos that you guys should not take a feature of Halo and make it and option or some kind of support upgrade, really Resuply was a very bad idea, whoever had this idea should get fired because it takes away the whole fun of Halo & not putting weapon spawn throughout the map was another grave mistake, so lets not change the Halo formula which is shooting, melees, grenades, awesome movements (free running style) with weapons spawns & dropping everything when you die and with Armor Abilities & Also, yes also Equipments because its the perfect Halo formula for the community! Also how great it would be if for the long drops to the ground we could just hold the left joystick and do a barrel roll to avoid death, that would only give 1/4 of the actual damage, genius huh, please put it in the game!

Also I wanted to mention that Halo needs a proper weapons customization feature with a clear Halo panel of Damage, Range, Rate of Fire, Accuracy, stability, Reload Time, Equip Time, Magazine count and Attachment Count just like other shooters and have a visual menu display like Ghost Recon Future Soldier, for those who say that Halo should stay with the level of customization that it has which is stock is clearly afraid of change & can’t conceive the idea that Halo can envolve into a more real & authentic game franchise and beside all of those customization should at most have a 7% increase in their field (Damage, range, Rate of Fire, etc.). And also there should be lots of attachments & scopes to the weapons, like a little Shotgun, Grenade Launcher, Sticky Detonator, Flame Thrower, Crossbow, Spartan Laser, Railgun, SMG, Dagger, and of course each of these attachments would have a 3 - 5 hit per kill except for head shots who would take 1 - 2 hit per kill and the scopes would have different zooming capabilities & visions like infrared vision, radar vision & enhance vision (from Halo 3 ODST) which we you could cycle with the D-pad, and for the attachments, we could access them by holding the ‘‘weapon swap’’ button (Y), and of course weapons could not have the same category attachment (like a shotgun cannot have a mini shotgun attachment or a grenade launcher cannot have a grenade launcher attachment and so on) and the attachments would be a lot less powerful then their full weapon equivalent like half to a third of its full weapon equivalent power, its time that Halo be like a real life shooter!

PS: For the second season of Spartan Ops, I would like that every mission be like the last two missions of season 1, where there is vehicular warfare, heavy weapon warfare, long distance warfare, infiltration & stealth warfare, heavy aerial warfare, grenades battles & gruntpocalypse warfare and lots of heavy ennemies (Hunters) warfare. Hi 343i, here I come with some awesome & amazing ideas for the future!

Team throwback is what Halo is all about, now IMO it should have been there from the beginning, now I know that you wanted people to appreciate your new games, regicide and your multiplayer concept of infinity slayer but it should have been team throwback & light objectives game types.

Now Here how in the future it is going to be perfect, have team throwback as your main team slayer playlist but without resuply & grenade explosion as an option in the tactical package & support upgrade but instead make it standard as it use to be where player would drop everything when they die and make the grenades react like Halo Reach but with a lot more bounce & make them explode after one bounce close to the ennemies as they always use to be, then in the ratings after the games just like Reach added, add game completion points, bonus points for something purely incredible or a glitch detection points kind alike the 3 000 points we use to have in slot machine in Halo Reach, then Commendations, then achievement points, skills ratings, medals ratings kind alike what Halo 4 points in regicide then slot machine & 1 EXP point (and 2 EXP points on WEEKENDS) for field experience which is Halo 3 experience system (because its important to know each player field experience just like it was in Halo 3 where experience meant something.

Another thing that is very important is the armor customization, another thing that I’d like to reprimand you guys about is standardized armor, first of all is the back of the Mjolnir suit Mark 7, should be standardized like every other suit before it due to the equipment that we use with it (and I know that the new jetpack is smaller than the previous one but it doesn’t fit realistically to every permutation or style of Mark 7 and there is other equipment that could be use in the back in the whole canon of the universe of Halo, so that some of the reason the back should be standardized for the Mark 7 & all other future versions), because you don’t want to have a single equipment for every permutation of style of the suit, secondly you would need a special & different adapter for the vehicles that uses back connections like the Booster Frame from Halo Legends the Package, that remind me it would be great to have that vehicle or something similar in future Halos or at least in Matchmaking.

I wanted to mention that the bicep armor has the same problem too, it should be standardized too so that only the shoulders armor covers would be different, now because in every elbow armor there should be a standardized elongated armor part like the Mark 6 that can prevent Elites from breaking your arm like it was said in the Halsey’s diary, so in other words, that’s why the bicep armor should cover all of the bicep to prevent Spartan arms from breaking, then there is the Spartan Armor on the thighs that should also be standardized like previous suits where in the thighs Spartans carries extra magazines, so I would love to see the reloads of the small weapons be done like in Halo Legend the Package where Master chief reload his weapon using his thighs in Matchmaking, also the suits has to have the ‘‘Space Diaper’’ because its a standardized featured that hold the magazines and its extra armor protection for your genitals, and every people love them.

Another thing I wanted to mention is Halo needs more authenticity, because I feel Halo Reach was a more authentic game then Halo 4 was in the design of their characters, also the Elites were very authentic in Reach except for their teeth (too many & too thin), their colors (they are a grayish tan with veins that are very light between purple & pink), their bottom jaw which should cover the whole bottom of their mouth so that they could realistically speak, and their legs were too thin and not muscular enough, beside that they were pretty much perfectly on point, but the Halo 4 Elites were a joke compare Reach in term of authenticity, first their eyes are on each side of their face, it should be like a human in front of their face so that they can focus on targets in front of them, that’s why intelligent beings have their eyes in front of them & stupid one have them on each side of their face, please study biology, no disrespect thank you.

Then they have the most ugly skin ever with lots of bumps like the grunts, it should be like some winkles at most because elites have always had flawless skin and their feet are too big for their bodies, it should be more proportional to their bodies (kind alike Reach, don’t get discourage 343i, you did some awesome work for the detail, keep making them more authentic, hire more people for it), also I would like to see the animation of their toes closing up as they jump, it would be freaking awesome, but you totally nail it for the eyes colors & iris plus the jaw is incredibly detailed & authentic but you should add the full bottom lip so that their mouth dont get dry full of bugs, please make every character as authentic as the H4 elite teeth and please gave them an avatar looking nose like in Halo Legend ‘‘the duel’’. Also the grunts have too big heads, please give them those cute little size & shape head they used to have with short necks because that way more authentic that way, for the rest, they are really authentic specially for the Jackal and please bring back the Skirmishers because they are really awesome also add alot more enemy characters Ty!

PS: I would like to see these different black armor that are underneath the green armor plating with different specification that will give the player a slight benefit of 5% - 7%, one benefit per armor, it would be benefits of speed for slight faster walking & running, damage resistance, light weight for higher jumps, better maneuverability for faster action & reloads, less reflectivity in active camouflage, etc. Here is the link 1, here is link 2, here is link 3, here is link 4, here is link 5, here is link 6! Also I would like to see the active camouflage instead of being slightly visible when moving we should see slightly the contour of the player in the main color of that player kind alike the overshield but slightly while he remain invisible, that would be more balanced and amazing!

Would it be possible to add a playlist that has everyone run around as Grunts with plasma pistol?No melee or anything.Just shoot at each other as Grunts.It would be a very original addition to the Halo franchise.Instead of melee if you hold the melee button down you take out 2 plasma grenades and when you press it again they detonate.Would be a funny playlist but would also allow people to work on their plasma pistol commendations which is currently impossible for the average player.

It would be a playlist of fairness and originality with humor involved.

For the suicide attack you would need to make it a 20 seconds respawn whether successful or not, so you don’t have people spamming it.

I would be forever grateful it you were to add such a playlist.
