Hi 343i, hope you sprint to halo 4 launch day is awewsome!

I wanted to talk about Evade, Evade is in my opinion an awesome AA and should not be remove, I belive that you should assossiate it with sprint as default combinated AA where when activated you can use evade by moving forward or in any direction & press down on the left D-pad and for the Sprint just use the AA Bumper that would be awesome, but each one get a meter where sprint get at least 12 sec. and the evade get at least 3 executions before depletion for 2 sec, try it!

PS: I would like to see more class vehicles in all factions like small & large aircraft vehicles, then small, medium & large land vehicles, Tank & moving bases like the Elephant, thank you!

A good idea for destructible environments for Halo 4 or 5 (depending on if the 360 or the next-generation console can handle the power):
I’d like if you threw a grenade near a wall, it would make a giant dent/hole in the wall and turn black in colour. If it was near some electronic, like a panel or a light it would make a small explosion. And every dent/hole in the wall shouldn’t look the same, they’d have a load of different types of explosions so everywhere wouldn’t look the same. They’d have to spend a long time at this. And they wouldn’t disappear as the game went on so a certain area of the map could get destroyed (In terms of lighting and ‘cleanness’).

I’d like this instead of ‘proper’ destructible environments. It’d be better for Halo. Also it’d actually look like there was a battle wherever and you’d know where there was combat on the map.

Hopefully you guys could pull it off for Halo 5, Halo 4 would be asking for too much in too little time when you guys have already too much work to do. :stuck_out_tongue:

Hi 343i, just wanted to remind you something,

Really 343i, we really need evade as a default AA combine with sprint, here’s how its going to be perfect, push the joystick down & foward and hold it for 1 sec. to start sprinting and for evading just Tap the joystick in any direction for less then a sec. to evade in any direction its very, very simple and for croutching just tap the joysick while standing still or moving sligthly for less than 1 sec. and then you’ll get to croutch easily.

In Halo 4, it is very important to master movement like it is a natural part of the game, I know that I’m going to compare it to games like Brink, Crysis 2 and Mirror Edge but those game had amazing movement mecanics specially Brink with his S.M.A.R.T. movements, Crysis 2 with his main generator that control all of the AA that their suit had and Mirror Edge with his amazing Parkour movements & combinations.

PS: MORE AGAIN, I belive in Halo 4 we should be able to run on wall to acces higher grounds, have different movement mecanics & combination like climbing, take cover in 3rd person, be able to select another cover by holding the ‘‘A’’ button and run for it in a fast but stealthy way and even use smoke bombs like a real ninja, because the Spartans in the Real Halo Univers is more skilled then a parkour master, more stealthy then a ninja Sensei, more agile then a gymnast athlete, faster than a gold medalist sprinter like Usain bolt, more intelligent then Einstein with faster reflexes than a normal human and more precise than a robot. So Please 343i make sure that movements is fast, natural and REALLY Unfrustrating because running for 4 seconds is super duper frustrating, we should be able to run for 12 sec. at least, leave the 6 or 7 sec. for MLG playlist & competitions, we should be able to evade for at least 3 times in a row and have movement combinations that should be swift and really fun, thanks! Hi 343i & BS Angel, how you doing, today I’m bringing you some obvious questions here!

I always wonder why isn’t there any Race playlist in Halo Reach & please make sure it is in Halo 4 because in REACH I would play the living s*** (sorry there!) out of it and I know many other community players would too beside there is a lot of Racetracks & Racetrack Gametypes out there in the community and awesome Racetracks Reviewers like the Amazing ‘‘Ducain23’’ which I love his youtube channel & Halo 4 New Updates Following (check him out Halo Community :-)!). Also how awesome it would be to have Team Race Slayer or FFA Race Slayer and Multi Team Race Slayer in that playlist and even have objective types of slayer races, hmmmmm!, I know I would play it all day long, so please put a racetrack playlist extremly soon, Ty!

Also I would like to see the ‘‘generator defense gametype’’ back from the Halo Reach Beta where it was team vs team and not against Covenant AIs because it was more fun and unpredictable, because it was human vs human, no disrespect to the AIs but its always more fun against people because they are more clever & smart and frankly they are humans, so please bring it back in team slayer and objectives.

Also, I wonder why in Halo Reach we couldn’t pickup AAs from dead allies or foes, like they would drop their AAs and we would be able to pick it up, its that simple, I hope that we’ll be able to do that in Halo 4 because its one of those things that should have been in Halo Reach and actually ruins the game because it wasn’t in there, so please make sure that we can in Halo 4 and also be able to have up to 3 or 4 different AAs at once and be able to use them simultaneously because its awesome and please make sure that the game is SUPER FUN BEFORE PUTTING RESTRICTIONS INTO IT!

And most importantly, bring back dual weilding but here’s how its going to be perfect, make it so that whenever a player pick up two of the same kind of weapons, that the combine power of both weapons is like 115% to 125% of one weapon by making each weapon decrease their power to 57.7% to 62.7% depending on what would be a more effective balance and there you go and if a weapon have the headshot capability to it, make it so that it would need two headshot in dual weilding to take effect as one single headshot and there you go, you got dual weilding back, Awesome huh!

PS: I belive that Halo 4 should be built upon The <mark>FUN FACTOR & FUN GAMEPLAY FIRST</mark> before adding competitiveness & a little of restriction, Ty!

Greetings 343, I am very conserned about a few things for Halo 4 so please think about this. Please make auto-aim a setting you can toggle on or off in Halo 4. This skull in CE Anniversery was so much fun simply because it made playing on normal much more challenging. Also, please make Cortana’s voice louder. I could barely hear what she was saying when I was playing CE Anniversery. Also, please allow the player to see the Halo 4 tuturial/basic training on any difficulty. This is very important to me, Thanks.

I want to talk more about something that is a concern. I want to be able to go though the Halo 4 tuturial on any difficulty. Even though I play the campaign on lengendary the first time, I still want to see the tuturial and get the opening experience. I would like to explain what annoyes me about not being able to play the Halo tuturials on Heroic or Legendary. Simply put, I’m the kind of person who likes to play a new Halo game on Heroic or Legendary the first time through. I’m a skilled Halo player and also very hardcore. Therefore I like to play the tuturials and not be denied them if I choose to play on a harder difficulty. To give you an example, when I got CE Anniversery back in December, I decided to play through the campaign on Heroic for the first time. To my astonishment, when the intial cutseen ended, the crewmen said “come on, we got to get the hell outa here.” And I was totally looking forward to standing on the red square and going through the energy shied test station. Come on 343, this is what needs to be different for the reclaimer trilogy. You should be able to experience the tuturial no matter what difficulty your playing on! As I said before, I’m a hardcore story fanatic and love to get every little experience. Please let me play the Halo 4tuturial/opening cinimatic no matter what difficulty I choose to play on. I’m a seasoned Halo player yes, but that doesn’t mean I should be denied the opening experience. At the very least, simply give the player the option of skipping the tuturial if they play on Heroic or Lengendary, not comepletely dening them access. I’m sure we can find some common ground on this. If you guys haven’t done this for Halo 4 yet, then please add this simple addition now, as this is very important to me for my Halo 4 experiece. I hope I have been clear, and I look forward to playing the the campaign on heroic or legendary and not be denied the tuturial. Thanks.

Don’t know how much yall look at this, but I do have a concern and I wasn’t sure where to place it. :confused: In game history, whenever you kill a vehicle in campaign or firefight, it ALWAYS shows up as a banshee on waypoint game links, whereas on bungie games it was specific per vehicle. Is there any way you can fix this?

I just want squad slayer back

I don’t know what kind of footage you guys are going to show at E3, but I hope you don’t show the new enemy. This is my main concern simply because not showing them builds up more anticipation for the game. I don’t even know if you guys are going to show campaign footage, but if you do then I think it should only be the first level while the Chief is still on the Dawn. I would really prefer that you guys only show the Covenant and end the demo right before the reveal of the new enemy. I think this would build up the most anticipation and not spoil anything for hardcore fans.

I don’t know if Halo 4 will have reticle bloom, but if it does then it should be reduced to 85%. However, I would prefer if there was no bloom whatsoever. It just feels more enjoyable with zero bloom after you play a game with bloom on. When comparing the two, I just feel zero bloom makes you feel more powerful, like weilding a machine of death that is fully functional and able to hit whatever your pointing at.

I really like what you guys are doing for Halo 4 with the weapon skins and multiplayer in general. I really think Halo 4 multiplayer will be the best yet I love everything you guys are doing! I am so exited for Halo 4 and I think these are the exact editions multiplayer needs. Keep up the good work. Thanks.

I think the big mystery surrounding Halo 4 is the mysterious new enemy and the forerunner planet. I would recomend you guys don’t give away the whole game and leave some mystery for people to explore when the game ships. My point is, I would prefer you guys don’t give away everything about the new enemy and the planet Requiem. I kind of like the idea of discovering what the new threat is without knowing everything about it beforehand.

Hi BS Angel & 343i, big news it is more than super duper awesome!

I’m talking about Halo 4 obviously, I just saw the leak and its exactly how multiplayer should be, but be reassure I just saw the multiplayer leak which is super awesome. I mean the gameplay is fast and fun and I really dig the instant respawn for slayer base gametypes only, plus the fun is tight throughtout the whole game, plus the power weapons drop is freaking sweet, the graphics are super awesome and the explosions are a killer and to put the cherry on top of the sundae, the game is extremly fast pace which is so awesome, so 343i and your multiplayer design team and all the others at 343i, we Salute you for making such an awesome game! More again the sprint ability is perfect just the way it should be, plus there is more assassinations too, woooow 343i you did it again!

But I just wanted to point out a few things that is annoying in the gameplay is the announces right in the middle of the screen right above the reticule ‘‘Headshot, Killing Spree, Killing Freanzy! and so on’’ is super annoying, so please move it back to right under the Sheild Meter or at the bottom middle of the HUD or right above the medals counts at the left side middle and also for the Armor Abilities like the Forunner Vision it would be nicer to have a slylish meter like the Halo 4 Sheild meter right above the radar just like what it was in Halo 2 and have the other AAs round Logos right under the first AA Logo so that whenever you switch AA only the Active Logo get on top of the others and uses the Halo2 format meter with a Halo 4 sheild meter style, feel me! Thanks 343i for Bringing Halo Back! And super long live Halo!XD

Please for the love of god I would like to see nicer looking helmets im not liking the look at all but I do have to say the default one looks ok.

Hey,343i, i know the forums here are full of hate for you and people trying to tell you what you’re job is and how to do it,but hey, this is your first halo game…I know people from bungie are in your studio however that doesn’t immediately make you a clone of bungie,or at least i don’t think so…

Anyhow, if you see this,keep in mind that I think you’re doing a great job handling Halo 4…It may not be the Halo everyone likes but I hope in the long run,everybody forget this time and play/love Halo 4!!!

Hi 343i, Its beyond expectation!

Hi, if you could add at least one thing out of all the things that I’ll ask it would be to had a U-turn Button using the ‘‘Back’’ button by tapping it instead of holding it because it would not show the menus but instead make you do a fast U-turn, with unlimited use, imagine the potential of that simple feature, please put it in there!

First I wanted to say how Awesome Halo 4 is, its beyond my expectations, and it makes me so excited to play that game, from the graphic to the sound to the gameplay to the vehicles to the weapons & AAs, wooooow 343i you made Halo be awesome again.

For the Graphics, Epic as usual, the environment is amazing and the scale of it is superb & beyond my expectations, the sandbox is sweeeeeet, and going from the HUD which is perfectly the way I envision it in my wildest dream, now for the not so great part, after your past the initial suprise of that weird crack open Promethean orange skull face you find them not so tough or menacing and specially with that shell on their back it make them look kind of ridiculous, so please beef them up and it would be nice also to see some details to their mid section ‘‘abs’’ area. And how sweeet it would be to see them be able to kick you quite often when you get too close kind alike the hunters would try to tackle you and beat you to death when you get too close, and it would be freaking awesome if the Prometheans could do assassinations too, that would blow my mind!

One thing I wanted to point out is that the medals in Halo 4 looks sooooooooo Childish like its a bunch of toys medals so please revert back to the Reach Medal logos cause it looks much more better for professionnal & competitive gaming instead of ‘‘Mario Land’’ gameplay or at least make new ones that are more shiny, lethal & dirty because its Halo 4 not Pacman!

On another note, the Elites look super ugly, at least in their facial area, the body is awesome except for the fact that they have darker spots everywhere on their bodies which is not authentic at all and their hands are too thin & disproportionate which means a little too long, the Reach hands were perfect. To go back to Elite Faces, it is too ugly, out of proportions which means too big compared to the rest of the body and too much like a cone, and the eyes are way too close to the jaws, as if they don’t watch out they could eat their own eyes kind of close, they don’t have a face, they have a forehead and weird splited jaws that goes all the way behind their eyes where their ears are which is weird and they don’t have any form of ears which is even weirder, their face should be more like the Reach face and proportions but in the shape of the Arbiter and his Wife face in the ‘‘Halo Legend the Dual’’, that would be a perfect and authentic Elite Face with the retractable hook style tooth at each split jaw end.

And speaking of jaw line, I love what you did with their mouth, its much more authentic with actual teeth that not only look real but stylish and menacing for the male Elites, and I specially love that you seperated the frontal incicives from the other teeth in the split jaws of the upper jaw line and that you had molar teeth to the back end of each split jaw, this is extremely awesome & authentic but all the teeth without exception should have been facing up & down vertically instead of horizontally so that all the teeth & jaw lines could be fonctionnal, I’m talking about the teeth on the splited jaw except of course the retractable hook like tooth at each front end of each split jaw that should remain horizontal, but of course I highly appreciate those levels of details that you put into the game, so keep doing what you do best Kenneth Scott and his team cause its super awesome!

The Grunt are awesome but I just don’t like that huge and out of proportion neck that they have and their head it too big and out of proportion and I super specially love their eyes & Iris with that confuse look that they have kind alike Homer Simpson and their mouth with the ‘‘I wanna bite your head off’’ kind of look, both of them are so authentic and epic. And the Jackals are spot on in every details, wooooow!

Now for the Sound, it is by far the best sounding Halo Game to date, I mean everything sound so authentic & awesome its spectacular. I super love the sound of the Battle Riffle cause its sooo authentic & epic, In my opinion thats exactly how the AR should sound and feel, and the Storm Riffle is trully epic, The Warthog is trully unbeliveable and sound like a real engine that is driving at you to kill you, but I would like a little more sound on that lower register on the same style that it has just to beef it up a little, just like it had a huge modified exhaust, please Tajeen.

And I’m loving the sound of the explosions but I would like a little more reverb of each explosion so that they could last a little longer with a more apparent sounds of particles and dust falling few moments later for a few seconds and I specially love the sound of the turrents its so much more realistic but I would like a little more lethal blast to it and trigger sound kind alike the shot at exactly 24 sec. in the video ‘‘Halo 4 Field Audio Recording’’ and a little like the machine gun at 20 sec. and also please make the Magnum sound more lethal and much less muffled kind alike a beef up Desert Eagle with a lot of low end frequencies and please make the Sniper riffle sound like in the Halo CEA. And one ore thing I love too much the original annoucement of Jeff Steitzer all the way from Halo 3 to see them go so please Tajeen keep them or at least make a mix of them with the new take so that at least I could hear all the original announcements of all the way back to Halo 3 because I cannot forget my ‘’ DDDouble Kill, Trrriple Kill OOOver Kill, Killlltacular, Killing Spreeee and so on’’ its a classic. Keep doing what you do because its amazing Tajeen and his team.

Hi 343i I’m gonna talk about the things that you need to change in order to make the people love you.

So I wanted to let you know how much the Armor Abilities logos are soooooooooooooooo confusing, its like you can’t remember which logo does what ability, unless you look at the loadout menu, you won’t know what it does, so please have some simple logos like in Reach where you knew which logo does what ability just by looking at it!

And one extremly important matter to change if you would love to see Halo 4 as a huge succes it would be to revert back to the original announcements of Halo 3 because its more then a classic its what Halo player have come to love and respect as the legendary multiplayer announcer, Jeff Steitzer, the one and only, and from there had new multiplayer announces for the new game, everywhere people have been saying that they really dislike the new announcements ( Forums, Youtube Comments, Fan Sites and even Halo.bungie.org )and I know that you still used Jeff Steitzer for the Halo 4 announcements but please hear me out, you can’t change an Halo Classic like that just because its a new game, Bungie knew that very well and knew that the community love the announcements from Halo 3 & built on it using the same style & fromat of audio recording for Reach, so please keep what have become an Icon in Multiplayer announcements instead of changing it, like what Bungie did by removing the Halo theme in Halo Reach, that was a big mistake!

I know I said it before but I can’t pass it on, the multiplayer medals are totally rediculous, first there the color code that have been completly forgotten, second the pallet of color used remind me of Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two, really these colors does not deserved to be in Halo periode, third its a 2D medal and should be in 3D, I would strongly recommend to rever back to Halo Reach Medals and add on the that pallet of medal respecting the color codes.

And I also notice that in the HUD there is no sign of the secondary weapond at the top right which is I’m sure just a minor mistake due to the rush for E3, please don’t forget to make them both, primary and secondary weapons visible in the HUD whenever we grab a turrent or flag or anything relevant like this in the third person view for optimal gameplay because I can remember in numerous time that I died because I forgot what secondary weapon I had on me like a shotgun or rocket launcher.

I wanted also to talk about some AA, like thruster is almost useless because one: it doesn’t boost you very far, instead it should boost 25% to 35% further like the Spartan Evade back in Halo Reach, then I think this one is the worst of all its features, you can only use it once every 3 or 4 second which totally sucked cause in that case I would rather have Evade which allow you to move at least two times before depletion, what would be perfect would be to have three distinc boost before depletion like evade was instead of having a gradual meter like the Armor Lock and it would be a Perfect replacement for Evade, I’ve seen what you did there by removing Evade and adding thrusters which is a brilliant idea because you can shoot at the same time as you move. And also one relly annoying feature of the thrusters is that big burst of sparcles each time you use it, istead it should be like fire sparcles that goes down in a frantic way instead of every direction and it would put out a few meters later really quickly, that would make more sense and would be much more relevant to the canon of the Sci-fi fiction.

I’m looking forward to Halo 4. From a customer’s point of view, the gaming universe has become flooded with a large amount of unfullfilling shooter games that have no point. No indulging story line. No heart or soul. They have all lost the art that surrounds them. I have high hopes that Halo 4 can reinstate this. The way that the characters have been altered, especially Cortana, is one way that the next Halo game shows life and vibrancy. Real people change, and for characters in fictional art to not change is unnatural. The next Halo 4, I hope, will be a stepping stone for gaming, from a star losing its light to a new, vibrant, and lively beacon of hope.

Hi 343i, sorry for all the negative comments on my last report but I needed to get some of the things of my chest, so how have you been doing!

I’m great and very optimistic for halo 4!

But before I get Carried away I would like to point out a few of the main things out:

  1. I Can’t stand the new announces that replaces the old & classic ''Double kill, triple kill, killing spree, and I notoriously can’t hear the ‘‘5 min. remain’’ instead of the classic ‘‘5 Min. Remaing’’ of Halo 3, specially with the ‘‘Flag Drop, Flag Stolen, Flag Drop, Flag stolen, Flag Captured’’ Really this is a classic of Halo, all the announces from Halo 3 to Halo Reach To Halo ODST, it makes an era go in a Flash without the consent of the community, except for the new one which are awesome, its like what Bungie did by removing the Superb & Legendary Halo Theme from Reach, an epic mistake, so Please Tajeen, I beg of you do not remove all of Jeff Steitzer announces from Reach but instead add to it using the same audio recordig technics, style & voice intonation just to continue this epic tradition of Halo Announces Ty.

  2. Here some things I noticed, the Ghost retice is fine but should have an arrow too at the bottom facing up with the paranthesis that we’ve come to love & cherish, I would love to have custom button controls for the controller, beefier Turrent sound kind alike the AR in Halo 4 and the plasma turrent sound epic which is awesome, a better Thruster as AA with 3 burst instead of one gradual meter with fire sparcles coming out of the thrusters going down just like sparcles coming out of a camping fire, Promethean vision should be more restricted where you can only see about 30 - 50 feet in front of you but everything should be in in 3D and the overall game should be at least 10% faster from the start when you spawn, really try it you’ll see its great.

  3. Make sure that theaters is in Halo 4, for Forge I would like a Map editor, it should be able to do great things but at least the basic, and I would love a despawn feature and a sequence of multiple spawn & despawn time for each object and be able to have multiple sequence of spawn & despawn for multiple area in the map that could be trigger by multiple times, scores levels or points gain, acheivements, etc. that would be wicked and also be able to create forge pieces from scratch with multiple textures, formats, dimentions, etc.!

  4. For the sound, I would like to have that famous skull where you could change all sounds of sound FX, weapons, vehicles, equipments, etc. by a vocal sound FX, that would be awesome!

  5. I would like also to have that epic Practice mode that I was talking about against the Chief or any other characters in the game or group of character where you could customise everything all the way to the accuracy of shooting, the rate of fire and the difficulty of the game!

  6. I would like to see much more meele weapons that we can carry on our back like the Katana in Halo 3 that is usable and would like to see only the pummeled adjective used for only the meele weapons.

  7. Thats an important one, I would like to be able to search my local files by names, dates, maps, etc. also I would like to be able to see which maps would work with which gametypes in both the map & the gametype file and I would like to specify as an attribute for a specific map which gametype would & should work with it and vice versa.
