Hi BS Angel & 343i, how are you?

<mark>Today I wanted to let you know on that Halo wall that you plan to do, here’s some more innovation that could improve the concept:</mark>

1- Don’t keep it just for campaign, make it so that it is for all aspect of the game and for all menus of the game, and be able to access it by pressing the menu button even in a live game, that would be freaking awesome.

2- Make it so that the whole community that buy the game can not only comment on a particular aspect, situation, gameplay, options, story, vehicles, weapons, equipments, AAs, fonctions, etc… (you get the idea here) but also be able to send you guys a video comment of the in game experience that they had with explications and audio on that matter.

3- Also be able to rate it in a 1 to 10 fashion with pros & cons and suggested improvements in a specific designated area for you to understand & perceive the whole community ideas, like & dislikes, concepts or matter at hand.

4- Have contests, quizzes and puzzles for the players to do to keep the community entertain and connected to the Halo Univers.

5- Give live feeds, tricks, live videos and what is hot on the Halo Univers like Top 10 Failures & Wins of the week, Tricks & technics of the weeks from Pro Player directly in the the Halo wall inside the game, etc…

6- Have dedicated Halo Wall file sharing Slots for the community for the videos replies.

7- And have at least 15 slots for file sharing and a service like bungie pro where this number doubles to 35 slots. (Yeah, thats how it doubles in my book! :slight_smile:

<mark>PS: I was thinking about this idea lately, have a fast croutch strafe mode for when people start to strafe, they could be able to fast strafe even when they croutch for fast croutching strafe, that would be super awesome, and make the Gundei jump more effective where the player body in mid air croutches much more when pressing the croutch button almost like its in the -Yoink!- position, that would be awesome, and also it is extremely important to be able to lower our weapon extremly easy & fast in any game mode and MM (it would be great to have different lowed weapon poses in the game that we can purchase and even custom ones that we can create and the most popular or top rated ones get to be in a live montly feed), I would like to do that by holding the menu button and then press trigger button for fast lowing & engaging of the weapon, Ty!</mark>

I belive that would be an awesome new weapon in Halo and an even greater idea for a Warthog.

My idea for Damage Modifier:

When you choose damage modifier in the game options. You get a percentage which affects all the weapons. So they all have the same damage modifier. So basically instead of the modifier affecting all the weapons. You have the option of selection which weapons would have the modifier, and what percentage each one would do.

Examples of it being individual:
Game-Type Options: When you’re setting up what weapons the player’s are going to spawn with. When you select a weapon a menu pops up with a percentage. So you can choose how much damage it’s going to do. Without it affecting all the weapons.

For example:
-Assault Rifle: I would change it to a percentage to do about the same amount of damage as the DMR. Because they both use the same type of ammunition.
-Magnum: I would lower it’s percentage so it’s more of a secondary weapon. Instead of it being more of a primary weapon.

For Forge: When I spawn a weapon. In the weapon’s option menu. There’s the damage modifier option. So I can choose what percentage of damage it’s going to do.

<mark>Hello 343i, today I have some serious stuff to talk about!</mark>

First lets talk about the remake in HD of the Mark VI Armor, it should be like the Mark IV Armor with lot of details and realism,not like what it look like in Halo 3 where due to technology there wasn’t enough realism & details.

Second The new suit should not look like what was in Halo 4 Teaser trailer, where the armor look like a remake in HD of the Halo CE default armor but a much more in depth version of the Mark IV Armor just like the link above.

Third The Elite bodies should not look like these silly looking Elites where they look like plushes and are definetly anorexic in their waist! but instead they should look like the Arbiter here in this photo where they look more human like and have a more proportionate body with lots of muscles and proportionate hands & fingers. You can even give them an Avatar look with slender & -Yoink!- look that Avatar have. (Yeah from the movie!)

Fourth Also make their face look more human like this, just like in the Halo Legends the Dual with the Feline looking Iris in their eyes!

<mark>Fifth Also we want to see some Female Elite like this one with beautiful hair, or like this also with beautiful hair, or like this one with beautiful slender, petite & sexy feet and look at the awesome melee weapon, that would be super cool to use too, or particularly like this one with her beautiful hair, or more exactly like Anne in the Halo Legend The Dual with a more sexy, voluptuous & slender body like the Avatars, because everyone would like to play as a female character specially a female Elite character. And do the same for the Brute female characters.</mark>

Sixth Have the Elite have their mouth close most of the time except when they are in service, they would have their mouth partially close, but when they speak have them have their mouth close just like in the Halo Legend ‘‘The Dual’’ where they would speak like humans because it is imposible to speak with the mouth widely open, and have the bottom lip cover the majority of the bottom jaw but make it look cute like the Elites in Halo Reach, Ty.

Seventh Also for the Brutes they should not be looking like Halo Reach Brutes because they are F*****g Super Ugly like a super power, (Sorry there), but instead they should look like Halo 3 or Halo Wars Brute because they are more realistic and nicer.

<mark>PS: Also in the multiplayer, make sure that ''Fun & awesomeness should be number one in the priority list, then comes practicallity second, then realism like asking yourself how it would look, work, react, function or sound in REAL LIFE etc…, then and only then you can think of restrictions of all sort but don’t put too many restriction and don’t let them come before fun and awesomeness like reach did with the restrictions on 4 sec. Sprint and non-mobile Armor Lock for example, I belive in the gameplay everyone should be equal in terms of mouvements and it should be more like Crysis 2 where you could use multiple AAs and equipments, and sprinting should not be a AA only but also a movement where there is normal Sprinting and AA Super Sprinting by pressing twice the sprinting button, also if it is possible in you time spread, make it so that the suit can have some hacking ability where either the suit or Cortana hack covenant or forunner structure or computer networks to access scamatics, cameras views and valuable informations for the campaign and perhaps MM that can be access wirelessly like in Halo ODST with the superintendent, also make sure that we can carry at least 3 grenades of each types on us, Ty.</mark>

Well I’m sure all of the ideas I could have have already been put into this thread.

But I’ll post it anyways.

Sprinting should be something you can do at all times, I smoke and can run faster/further than a spartan, that is sad.

Customized load outs, while it’s something other games have I think it could be useful.
I hate that I have to hunt weapons down to be as effective as I’d like.

The biggest thing from my point of view is for gods sake make it so armor does something for you, doesn’t even have to be awesome, just something.

I have 25 frag nades on my chest but I can only use 2.
I have armor on my shoulders that add jets to better control my flight, but they don’t do anything.
knees are upgraded but I still take full fall damage.

Why cant you change your legs/feet?

You have the commander helmet why don’t you get a more in depth readout.
I don’t know just some ideas, I like to be rewarded as I gain rank, maybe it’s just me.

My idea for an Armored Warthog.
Picture the Halo 4 Hog with Delorean style doors. On both sides for the driver, and passenger side. So the doors would look something like this on the vehicle. Each door would have a window that is 1 foot long, and about as tall as a Xbox game case. The passenger could control a front facing LMG. Something like a M60 built into the vehicle. Like the dune buggy in Battlefield Bad Company. To balance it out. The LMG could be burst fired(5 rounds?). Each burst would have a 3 second reload period.

For game play:
-If you manage to shoot through the window on either side with a sniper. It would be an instant head shot.
-It would take 3 rounds with the sniper to detach the doors.
*First shot: Dents the door.
*Second shot: The door is about to fall off. It looks like a damage door in GTA: San Andreas for a car.
*Third shot: Detaches the door.

Hijacking:
You would grab onto the side of the vehicle. Then you would crotch on top of it. You would either rip the door off, or beat it off like a tank hatch. After the door is off you punch the driver, or passenger. After that you would throw them out of the vehicle, and take control of it.

Forge Idea: The item your are holding. Has a highlight around it.

Basically when you’re holding onto an item like a wall piece. It is highlighted. Those of you that play C.o.D. Let’s take Black OPS. You know when you have the “Hacker” perk the enemies equipment is highlighted. So for this idea the item you are holding is highlighted like that.

Probably a lot of you were forging one day. You either forgot you were holding onto an item, or you accidentally grabbed an item. Then you moved. Depending on which piece it was, that accident probably ruined your map. This way it would be a lot more oblivious. So it would help prevent stuff like that from happening.

DavidJCobb also has a great idea for this to.

Female Elites dont fight. Infact, they dont do much at all. Elites are rather $exist. If there were Female Elites in Halo, they would be very scarcely shown, even cameo. And certainly not playable.

Hi BS Angel & 343i, how you doing?

Today I had some issue about how Halo 4 is going to looklike. And I had this idea that we could have not only saveable games, gameplay and films but I would like also to have armor that you could save, I mean being able to save many different armor combinaisons in unlimited slots on our hard drive also be able to save unlimited custom vehicles combinaisions, weapons combinaisions, equipments combinaisions and armor abilities combinaisions that you could customize like in Section 8 on unlimited slots on our hard drive, that would be awesome.

Also, I’ve said this before, but I really would like to see the AIs envolve into a <mark>more realistic behaviour where ennemies would take cover on incoming fire, would switch weapon (Yeah, I want to see all ennemies wear two weapons at all times) to better suit the combat situation or get a better & bigger weapon laying on the ground for maximal damage and minimal risk to themself even if its a weapon that does not suit their respective ranking and even better once in a while have a creature like a low class infantry like a bugger or a grunt, marine, ODST etc… get a sniper weapon and get away from the main combat field to an elevated area to snipe some ennemies and better support his allies, that would be awesome.</mark> Also I would like to see less suicidal AI, allies or foes except for the suicidal grunts and also I would like to see ennemies be a lot smarter when they come running at us by dodging our shots and taking smart cover and looking around to see if ennemies can see them just like what a real human would do and I would like to see some physical communication within AIs & would like to see much more hijacking from AIs, <mark>and all that I just mention in this paragraph is for all AIs, allies & foes.</mark>

<mark>Also, I would like to see a weekly video update of all things Halo that you guys would do; it would be video response to tell the community what you are upto and what is going on at 343i, also it would answer the most frequent questions that the community is asking, that way it would push you ahead of the game of what Bungie is been famous for in the the category of ‘‘caring for the community’’ and it would create an unique bond between you guys at 343i and the community, it doesn’t have to be to long, it could be between 2 to 5 min. every week like fridays and you don’t have to go into too much details with us but only scratch the surface and specially with your own 343i Star Jessica Shea it would be an instant Blockbuster Hit from the start where your community would more than quadruple, and its an awesome thing. I had these ideas and I thought they were fantastic so I’m sharing them with you.

Ever wonder by how much you did survive a soft kill boundries, well wonder no more…, introducing the ‘‘Save by the clock’’ which tell you by how much seconds left on a top 5 sec. you just slip out of ‘‘Death’’ and survive just as soon as you reenter safe boundries. Also have you ever wonder what was your top 5 or your teammates or ennemies top 5 weapons on a game or the top 5 people you kill or killed you, the top 5 ‘‘other’’ categorie of kill that you did, the top 5 vehicles, equipments or AAs that you use to kill others, what percentage of you shot landed on targets, what is your headshot & body shots percentage, etc… well wonder no more, introducing more options and details in the statistics chart coming near you!:slight_smile:

I would love to see as a fourth choice in the voting rounds in MM the community ‘‘most accepted’’ gametypes & maps for all the playlists in MM. Also I’ve seen this in Halo Reach, there’s too much writing in the HUD way too many times, I mean there should be some dedicated areas where writing should be & should not be for example: on this picture everything is well place and well balance, and on this picture, there is some 3D effects to the HUD and it look a lot more like a ‘‘Real Spartan HUD’’ with lots of instrumentations and details, and on this picture, the items on the HUD seem a little too big and slighly out of place and the text over the radar (when there is text in gameplays that indicate who kill who, etc…) seem too often to leak on the center of attention in the HUD and is super distracting, I would like to see something more like COD where the name of the person is abreviated if its too long and follow by the weapon, or grenade or vehicle or equipment or AA or etc… that the first name use to kill the second, & the second name would also gets abreviated if its too long also I would like to see the HUD get horizontally & vertically divided into 5 invisible equal sections so that no items can leak into another section, for to keep the HUD clean, sleek & stylish where the items in HUD is very Slim, Sleek & Stylish! PS: Keep the Halo 3 HUD Style because its more clean, sleek & stylish, Ty!

Also keep the ‘‘no leak to health’’ sheild system where you must shied out somebody before you can beat them to Death, because it keep the game more clean and is more a strategic like that. Also I had this brilliant Idea where it would be awesome to combine AAs to create Attacks, for example someone could activate Sprint run to a vehicle and then activate Armor Lock then he would go into a huge ball position and roll straight to the Warthog and destroy it and then he would release his Armor Lock victorious, that would be Aweeesome! Also in that same idea, someone could activate Jetpack then in the air he would activate Offensive Hologram to go down on an ennemy, where he istead would drop behind his ennemy that was attacking his hologram, and then he would assassinate him with a big ‘‘Yeah’’ shout with that, how freaking sweet that would be. PS: Please make grenades more bouncy even the plasma grenades kind alike Halo 3 but slightly more bouncier, ty!

Also I had this idea why not have a photo editor where you can not only take photos but edit them, crop them, add effects, modify them with animations like blobbing heads etc… and even be able to create stop motions or cartoons with thoughts bubbles in it, that would be perfect.

Forge Idea: Guardians as an Forge item.

Those of you that played Halo 3. You know how some of the maps had Guardians as boundaries.
Sandtrap:
-Mine field.
Snowbound:
-Automated Plasma Turret.
Sandbox.
-Watchtower.

So my idea is being able to have them as Forge items. Also not only can they serve as boundaries. They could also be used for
-Defensive weapons.
-Obstacles.
Stuff like that.

In the items menu you would see Guardians. When you select it you would have a list of different ones. So if I choose Mine Field a red box would appear on the ground. If you select the box your are able to change it’s size.
-Length
-Width.
When you are in a noraml game. When you step into that area mines will start exploding. So they will act like how they did in Halo 3. They will jump up out of the ground, then explode

Yes I know in Reach we have the Landmines as an item.

For items like the Watchtowers, and the Automated Plasma Turrets:
Let’s say I select the A.P.T… It would act like a normal piece of scenery I pick a spot were I want to put it. But if I select it, a menu pops up asking you.
-Destructible.
-Damage percentage(%)
-Range.
-Firing speed.
-Recharging time.
-Targets:
Lets say I’m making an objective map, and I’m using them as defensive weapons. I would select what team color, or race(Elites, Spartans for invasion.) they are friendly to. And what team color, or race(Elites, Spartans for invasion.) they are hostile to. So when you start up a normal game. If Red team is the friendly side. The turrets won’t fire at them. But if Blue team is the enemy side. They will start firing at them.

I’ve loved how you people have carried Halo on. Now, I would just love to have a Race playlist… :slight_smile:

Firefight map idea.

Those of you that played Call of Duty 2. You know the Hill 400 level. Were you started at the bottom of the hill, and you had make your way up it. There were a couple of small bunkers that had MG-42 emplacements going up the hill. There were also trenches with MG-42 emplacements along the hill. Anyway your major objective was to capture the bunker on top of the hill.

The level after Hill 400 was The Battle for Hill 400. Where you had to defend the bunker from waves of attacking Germans.

So for my map idea it would be something similar. You are leading a small squad of A.I. soldiers about 6. Or it could be human players of the same amount. So if you have 6 human players. You won’t have the A.I. So basically the A.I. would fill in the human player spots. So anyway you would lead this squad up the hill while under fire from the enemy. Your objective is to capture the enemy bunker. Once you capture it that’s when the Firefight starts. You would have to defend it from waves of enemies like a normal Firefight map.

I second this. The Silverlight embedded videos on halo.xbox.com are so poorly encoded as to be unwatchable. Occasional macroblocking and constant blurriness are the usual situation. I have a FIOS connection and my ping time to xbox.com and aspnetcdn.com are good, so if there’s an adaptive bitrate streaming issue, it’s on the server’s end. I always try to watch videos on Youtube instead because I know the video quality will be far better and I will never see a “buffering” message.

Hi 343i, Urgent Message!

Now that I’ve seen the toys of halo 4 by Mcfarlane, I think they are Super ugly like a super power, so let’s talk about the Halo 4 Armor concept because:

1. It look like a Strip Master Chief who is about to work a pole or something, like on this video!

2. It doesn’t look like Master Chief.

3. Its really inapropriate as an armor, because we don’t want Master Chief to look like a woman. (no disrespect to any woman)

4. The shoulder pads are way too low, looks awkward and too big for a default armor, and I know that you were trying to get the community ideas for the new suit which is a smart move without telling them that thats the new suit, but it look ridiculous!

5. The chest area is looking like the Halo CE armor in HD and I know that you are going for the Halo CE looks but no one want another CE style armor, they want a more Halo Wars Mark 4 Style Armor with real Spartan looks, with real proportionate armor like the Halo Wars Mark 4 Armor which look like a Spartan armor for Really muscular soldiers, a bit like Iron Man suit something like that and I know the Mark 7 is suppose to be lighter, so make the platings thinner and more sleek, by the way the Halo CEA remake Suit looks more like the actual suit that the Chief wears in real life instead of the original Halo CE suit & the chest area is more realistic then the original. PS: The back of the suit and the helmet of the Halo 4 armor is awesome and you need to have the (Space Diaper) Cod piece Back, its a life or death matter, literally, make it something like that but wider, Ty 343i! Its not about making it ‘‘the bleeding edge of military technology’’, its about making it real!

DON’T FORGET TO KEEP THE ORIGINAL HALO THEME SONG FOREVER, BECAUSE IT IS THE TRADEMARK OF HALO, THAT’S WHAT WE’LL RECONIZE & REMEMBER HALO FOR GENERATIONS TO COME!

PS: I wanna see the HUD more exactly Like this one! FORGET ABOUT THE HALO CEA TERMINAL HUD THAT YOU HAD IN MIND BUT KEEP THE 3D EFFECT YOU HAD IN MIND! ENOUGH OF YOUR SO CALLED ALMIGHTY JUDGMENTAL REASONING, PLEASE DELIVER THE COMMUNITIES GOODS, TY!

Because it would have everything that it needs and more with the instruments, live videos feeds, schamatics in it and it would also have that Core meter that I was talking about and I want the HUD to be horizontally & vertically divided in 5 section just like the vertical section on the picture in the link above, I know that the middle section is wider and its better like this.

1. Imagine on the top part of the HUD, there would be on the top left, the grenades counts in a Halo 3 style where the first type of grenades which is the one in use would be slightly bigger then the rest and there would be an animation whenever you switch grenades where the fist one become the last and the rest just move upfront, right under the grenade counts would be the secondary weapon count with big numbers just like the link above and right under the secondary weapon count would be the optic vision mode and the equipments and those two would be stationnary at to bottom of the top left just like the link above where there would be normal, ODST vision, night vision, infrared heat signature vision, and radar vision (which is a 3D rendering of normal vision but by a sonar radar, just like in the movie Dare Devil where they were in the rain here at 2:40 min.) that can be activated and switch with the D-pad and there would be an annimation that shows which one of the grenade count or the second weapon count would be in use by switching the selected one on top of the other.

Then in the top middle of the HUD there would be on top the compass, then the shield meter, then the health monitor, then the objective, kind alike what is in Halo Reach but in a Halo 3 fashion mode.

On the top right there would be the primary weapons count in a Halo 3 style which is much more understandable, then a shoulder mounted weapon count that could be either a machine gun turrent or a grenade launcher etc… just like Halo legend the prototype, then there would be the cold steel weapon count like shurikens, throwing knifes, magnetic remote control detonating C-4, etc… and there would be the same kind of annimation then the top left of the HUD that switch witch count in use as the first one on top!

2. Then in the middle left there would be the place for a live video feed window for incoming videos from teamates or network cameras or for in depth analysis of terrains, fields, creatures or archives kind alike Halo 3 ODST. In the middle middle, the reticule, and in the middle right there would be a secure intels windows where we could see schamatics and directions.

3. At the Bottom left, there would be the 3D radar sphere where you could see yourself in a 3rd person view & where everything would be in a miniature 3D form and would be color coded like we’ve always been used to, at the left of the Radar there would be the Armor Abilities icons align up to 4 around the radar only as Icons, I’ll explain later why they are only icons and not meters, then at the right of the Radar there would be the names up to Best Top 5 of your fellow Spartans where there names is a health monitor that turn red just like the regular health monitor and around their names, there would be an energy shield meter as the regular one so you might know at all times what is their health & shield are in real time

At the bottom middle there would be the important message window and rear view camera, and at the bottom right there would be the core meter with the percentage of the meter kind alike the shield meter, like the box where there’s 11.00.61, just like in the link above, which indicate the strenght of the core left for use for the AAs Icons, where instead of having each icons as a meter they would be as an on/off icon where the core meter would indicate how much power is left for use for the multiple AAs, and we could also use multiple AAs at once. And then you would have a perfect HUD, thanks! PS: I also want to see cracks in the HUD as it gets damaged like in this picture! And I wanna see the HUD shake as I move or run like in this picture! Also we would like much more sticky grenades, Ty! And remember it is not a 2D flat HUD but its a 3D HUD!

First, I would like to talk about your Directors, let’s start with Sotaro Tojima music & audio director :

He litterally had me at the first sentence, but then he seduce me at the second one and to make matters awesome, he totally reassure me with the last one making me so confident that not only the halo theme will be staying in the game but also the Halo feel will still be in the game as well, two thumbs up Tajeen! He blew me away, its important to feel something when you play a game as important & as Epic as Halo and for that Sotaro Tojima, we salute you! Also I wanted to pointout that when I’ve seen the video of him working with the military special forces I was instantly reassure & relief for the audio, music & sound design because I’ve studied and now am a private college graduate in computer assisted sound design and all that’s affiliated with sound, I know, so by not only seing him give us some videos footage of his work and see how he is dedicated and passioned about his work not only as a director but as a fan too really inspire me thrust and respect for the new director, now all I’m asking is to continue to keeping it really awesome & real first, Ty!

Now let’s talk about the art director, Kenneth Scott:

He worries me a lot, as I haven’t found myself beliving in him just yet, I still doubt that he will deliver the goods at least in the Master Chief look department. Yes I know that the environment will be epic and the new Forunner structures will not only be gorgeous but functionnal as well (I got my sources :-)) but the main concern is still in on the table here, the Master Chief new look, and I know there is multiples story related reasons to why the MC looks different but in my humble opinion, there is no reasons why to drastically change an Icon Mark VI armor even if its story related & let’s not even talk about the Mark VII because I’m worried here, the best way to look at this would be to add new features or new instruments to the armor throught the process of nano enhancements.

However, its not only Master Chief who is the main concern here, Cortana is too, and her look is so different, and I don’t care how much technology she had to digest to become hill as she is in the Halo 4 trailer, I want my Cortana just the way I like it and I’m sure the community will agree with me, I wanna see her with a super -Yoink!- & Feminine Nude Body like Kim Kardashian with a behind like Nicki Minaj, transparent like Serena from Halo Wars with holographic human & forunner and perhaps covenant symbols going up and down her body that changes colors depending on her mood like the animation on Serena body & like in the books with a face exactly like Dr Halsey here in the Halo Legends the Package or like there and more specially have that fine attitude of the first Halo, where combat would envolve whenever fierce Cortana was here, OK! Now belive me, I speak what I belive the community would love to see and I thrust that the community who had supported me by not entering any new post or comments on this thread from my last entry up until this one will surely supporte me for this post and I’m very greatful for that!

So please 343i, I ask will MC & Cortana be as we remember them to be once more? Thank you 343i!
