<mark>I have some thoughts for Halo 4 that I would like to share. I hope we see some Halo Wars vehicles in Halo 4. I’m talking the Grizzly and Wolverine and some different warthog varients. Mabe different Scorpion varients as well! I’m so enthrolled about what kinds of vehicles could be stowed away on the forward unto dawn, I can barely sleep. Also, I have thought about the possibility of using the Doozy as well. Sound cool?</mark>

I’d like to see them patch the original games so that achievements and progress can be saved when playing offline. I’ve been struggling with this issue with every Halo game for the 360 since the beginning - progress can’t be saved with an XBox Live account unless signed in. I don’t have a home internet connection, so this is rare for me. If I want to play through a campaign, I have to use a separate, local-only account that doesn’t track my achievements.

When asked about it, “Maddy” from XBox support gave me this:

“…please be informed that indeed in order for you to save your game progress you are in need to be connected online and once your offline the game progress you acquired cannot be used and vice versa. Online and offline profile may be the same yet progress that are acquired can never be continued once you switch modes in playing.”

No other game (that I’ve played) does this, and I’m not the only person that has this problem. This seems like such a huge oversight (at least to those of us it impacts) that unless this gets patched for the older games and removed from future releases, Halo will be a rent-only option for me.

<mark>I wanted to talk about Forge and more specially about a racetrack editor where you could do everything in the racetrack.</mark> I would love to be able to not only do continuous tracks with one tool that allow me to make a track as long as I want but also choose the material that the track is going to be made out of, for instance like a glass track where we could choose witch kind of glass we wanna use like a thick glass, a thin glass, a blurry or opaque glass where we could choose the color of the glass, a smooth glass, a bumpy glass etc…, a dirt track, a rock track with different textures like bumpy, smooth etc…, a forunner track, a covenant track, etc…

Also I would love to be able to add elevators, like you could customize your elevator with the dimensions and degrees that you want so it may sit flush with the map, also I be able to make elevator that turns or twist like a circular stairs and even be able to combine elevators with teleporters as one tool so that at the end of the elevator you teleport somewhere else and even get to another elevator that would take you down to some other level, I would like to be able to choose the direction the elevator goes, either up, down, left or right or any custom directions that player would want to go with the custom elevator box that could go round and round with the direction chose. Also I would like to be able to automate the direction the elevator like making it go in two or more directions automatically and even have door to the elevator box like shield doors and directions that shows in what directions the elevators is going.

I would love to see sliding tracks where whenever a player goes onto it he automatically goes to the selected direction of this track just like in High Charity in Halo 2 with the sliding tracks but I would like to have also barrier as an option in all the tracks. I would love to be able to have Fast Tracks & Slow Tracks where any body who enter those track accelerates or slows down real fast, also I would like to have custom man cannons where I could choose the dimension of the man cannon for a custom gameplay and also choose the thrust power and direction of each man cannons. Also for the lights, I would love to be able to customise them with the colors that I want, the texture of the light, the projection of the light in the direction that we want and the speed of the blinking light. I would like also to be able to automate lights so that they can shine when there is some one close and it gets brighter whenever we get closer to the light, same thing for the tracks where track gets brither when there is someone rolling on them with the colors that the player choose and all that using very few engine ressources, that would be great,Ty.

<mark>Also I would like to have more aesthetic pieces in the racetrack editor and perhaps have a community search bar for any piece in Forge in general for community piece creations going from aesthetics to entire buildings & blocs. Ty</mark>

I would love to have more man cannons, more teleporters, much more lights types and much more of everything that use very few ressources so that we can express ourselves in awesome community creations, and I would advise to have a dedicated title playlist for community creation that have Maption sack in it, Ty.

Challenges Feedback
I love you guys & gals make community spotlights on how to beat weekly challenges, but that doesn’t change the fact that >0.03% enjoys them.

I would like to poke out their eye with rusty spork whoever thought that having campaign LASO every other week was a good idea.

One thing that I’d like to see, provided material from the books actually influences events in the games… Is how the UNSC implements Cortana’s findings when she had control of the Covenant cruiser, Ascendant Justice. Information on how to better perform slipstream jumps and how precise she was able to make the plasma weaponry.

The ODST has a suppressed M7. I agree, it would be cool to see more suppressed weapons in the Halo universe.

I’m getting really tired of being betrayed over and over for various things and not being prompted to boot people (this one guy betrayed me 4 or 5 times before I was prompted. Then like last game, all of the sudden, I’m getting shot in the back, I lay down a grenade and betray my teammate who was the one shooting me. Booted and now a temp ban, which brings me to my question, how long does probation last? I’ve only been booted once in three weeks, yet I’m still on probation. I don’t play but a couple games a week anymore, Halo has gotten really stale since 343 took over, I guess it don’t matter, Halo isn’t relevant to most gamers anymore. Now he sends me a message calling me a -Yoink-, I’m just gonna play some ps3, this is some real bull s**the!

<mark>I had this super freaking awesome idea about Halo, how about we Get this freaking awesome menu or mode where we could practice that I would call ‘’ Play against the Chief’’</mark> where it is a basic to advance practice mode. Imagine it is just like most fighting games like ‘‘Tekken, Mortel Kombat, Street Fighter, etc…’’ where there is a practice mode where you can fight against an A.I. on multiple gameplay where you can set the A.I. Action, Reaction, movements, Defence, Offence, Attacks etc… you get the idea here.

But in Halo it would be in an entire new level where not only you can do all these things but you can choose whitch opponent you wanna fight,( UNSC: Spartans, Marines, ODSTs, Covenat: Elite, Brute, Jackal, Hunter, Grunt, Skirmisher, Drone, Forunner: 343 Guilty Spark, Sentinel, Prometians, etc…,) or even have them in a packs or groupes where they don’t die but instead they get back up few seconds later. Also how awesome it would be to be able to select what weapons they would use, I’m not talking about Firefight here, this is an entire new level where you can customise the encounter to its finest roots and have a real experience to perfect yourself in the art of combat.

Now my initial idea was to have a 1V1 encouter against Master Chief in a small map or custom map where you can tell Master Chief for example to only avoid your attacks or to attack you using some restraints like no weapon pickups or no grenade throws, or attack only by melees or assassination or snipers, where you can even control the accuracy of the A.I., also tell him if he can use equipments and armor abilites. Being able to control the encounter in real time, use vehicles for vehicle combat and even have some allies A.I. with us for vehicle combat where you can adjust the accuracy of the shooting with the frequency of the shooting, and even control the hijack capabilities of allies & ennemies, also be able to see the multiple combos, (double kill, triple kill, running riot, overkill, headshot, assassination, reload this!, revenge, killtacular, Killjoy etc…) points, etc…

And even better the game could help us by analysing our gameplay, recommend strategies, attacks, deffence, and show us weak points of the ennemy, give us strategic combo attacks, combo weapons, combo equipment and armor abilities, strategic & combo vehicles, it could give us hints on how to procede in some environments, combat situation and desperate survival technics, also we could have professional advices from pro players and even community players via a submission entry in the menu that goes directly to 343i favorite advices to share with the whole community. Also It would be freaking awesome to have some Kinect integration in this mode, that would blow my mind!

That would be freaking awesome to have that in the game, I know its a lot but imagine the possibilities and the quality of encounters that we’ll be getting in MM with this and it would resurrect Halo from his ashes just like bringing the ranking system from Halo 3 back to life and better yet up to 100!

<mark>Also, please arrange the Elites teeth because they look discusting with that predator look but instead give them a beast look with much larger teeth like they actually have a jaw line like vampires a bit like the dog in Blade 3 but give them a more human look to their face where the form of their face is more ovale kind a like a heart shape and make it so that they can close their full mouth, jaws lines & lips once in a while with that bottom lip that covers all of that bottom jaw, all this kind alike Halo legend ‘‘the duel’’ and also give them those cute four claw like teeth of the predator that can retract completly into their mouth without being seen kind alike the elites in Halo Legends ‘‘Origins’’ with a cute face like Halo Reach Elites that would be awesome!</mark>

Weapons Rack Ides For Forge Item:
It would be under scenery. Select, and place it where ever. You would have different size racks. Here’s an example of one, and how it would work.

Weapon Rack: 1. It has 4 slots for Assault Rifle size weapons, and 4 slots for Plasma rifle size weapons. When you select it. A menu comes up asking you what slots you want weapons in. The weapons menu would be weapons that would fit into the slots. Here’s an example of random weapon layouts for the slots.

Weapon Slot A(Assault Rifle Size Weapons:
Slot A1-DMR.
Slot A2:-Battle rifle.
Slot A3:-Assault Rifle.
Slot A4:-Shotgun.

Weapon Slot B(Plasma Rifle size Weapons:
Slot B1:-Magnum.
Slot B2:-SMG.
Slot B3:-Plasma Pistol.
Slot B4:-Plasma Rifle.
You would have different size racks for different sized weapons.

Ammo for weapons:
-When you put a weapon on the rack. It ask a menu comes up. You select how much ammo you want in the weapon.
-0.
-25%.
-50%.
-75%.
-100%(Max Ammo.).

Here’s how it would work outside of Forge:
When you walk up to it. You push “X” on it. A menu comes up asking you what weapon slot you want.
**Left Trigger:**Weapon Slot A.
**Right Trigger:**Weapon Slot B.
Once you’re in one of the slot menus. Scroll down on which weapon you want. Then you push “A.” Then your weapon gets replaced with that weapon.

Guided Rocket Hog.
It would be another model of the Warthog. The turret would look about the same as the Gauss turret. The only difference is that it would fire a rocket.

Rocket:
-It would do the same damage as a rocket.
-It would be almost as fast as the rocket form the rocket Launcher, maybe a bit slower.
-After 30 seconds it would automatically exploded.
-After the rocket explodes. You have a recharging time of about 5-7 seconds.
-It would be controlled by the turret. What ever direction you are turning. The rocket would follow. So basically it would act like the Rocket Launcher from Half-Life 2. When you fire it. You use the laser to control it. Here’s a video of what I’m talking about.

My Battle Damage Idea:
It wouldn’t affect gameplay it would just be for looks. Other players would be able to see the damage on you. But you can’t see the visor damage on yourself.(By that I mean you can’t see your own visor damage.)
1st Spawn
-Your armor looks like at just came out of the factory.

2nd Spawn:
-Your armor is a little dirty.

3rd Spawn:
-Same as 2nd spawn. But the armor is scratched up.

4th Spawn:
-Same as 3rd spawn. But the armor has dents in it.

5th Spawn:
-Same as 4th spawn. But the armor has broken armor pieces.

6th Spawn:
-Same as 5th spawn. But the visor is cracked.

7th Spawn:
-Same as 6th spawn. But you can see bullet holes in the armor.

Then for the rest of the Spawns different weapons would have different battle damages on people:
For Example:
-If I kill someone with an Energy Sword. When they spawn their armor would have a deep slash in it.
-If I kill someone with a Plasma Rifle. When they spawn their armor would have plasma burns on it.

I just wanted to bring a few things into the attention of the community and 343. Weapons like the ars and shoutguns are not as good as they really should be and need to be improved alittle like the shoutgun needs more range. The assault rifle needs to be more powerful.

If 343 doesn’t put the elephant in halo 4 the please everyone that agrees help get this message to 343 we want the elephant brought back and larger scale Big Team and dog fight playlists. Maybe like longsword fighters and sabers. The game is awsome but think about 32 people in one game and vultures elepants and pelicans please 343 that would be one of the greatest things you could do.

Also in halo 4 the multiplayer Beta needs to have a date anouncement.

The thing that bugs me is how they use the vehicles in halo. I think they use it carelessly because of the seating arragments of vehicles. The tank for example can hold up to two people. In halo 3, soldiers were able to hitch a ride any time they wanted to (campaign). Also, the falcon is another example. The falocn can only hold up to three people. If you look closely, there are two seats within the falcon. I think they should add more seating arragments to the tank where you can hitch a ride on it at any time a get off at any time and to the falcon. Please post your thoughts below.

Emblem: It would be cool if we could pick what location it would be at. And having the option to change its size.

Locations:
-Left Shoulder.
-Right shoulder.
-Chest.
(Left side.)
(Right side.)
(Middle area.)
-Back.
(Top. Like the Elites back emblem location in Halo 3.)
(Middle back.)
(Lower back.)
You start out with the default location.
-Chest.
Then after every 10th rank. You unlock a new location for it.
-Left Shoulder.
-Right Shoulder.
-Back.
Also your not limited to only one location. You can have your emblem on all 4 locations.

Size:
Lets say I want it on my back. I get a zoomed view on my back. You see the the emblem in the center of the area you want it at. Then you use the triggers to size it.
Left Trigger: Decrease.
Right Trigger: Increase.
Both Triggers: Back to default size.

Hi 343, I have 2 different suggestions for Halo reach.
I would appreciate it if you could take a glance at this.
These are my thoughts about how bloom and zero bloom are.
Someone might have come up with this idea but anyway

  1. Adding “Classic” ability to abilities
    -“Classic” has the same ability as zero bloom gametype has. (zero bloom, higher jump height, higher move speed etc)
    -Making crouch shot = zero bloom

I think this will give new sense to strategies. And you should care crouch shot more. It is a great feature in halo reach.

  1. Making bloom (or DMR) customizable
    -People can choose their own bloom 0 to 100%, but must have 100 to 0% something. For example, time of using abilities
    -Making crouch shot = zero bloom

It seems that people are not satisfied with bloom which you choose. So why don’t you make us choose? I think they don’t complain about bloom they decide.
