I love Halo, but you guys need to be more human. The online store just takes me to other websites, and its too official. Just stay true to the community, stay true to the principles Bungie stuck to.
Also, make it possible to toggle the words that show up on your screen when you play matchmaking. On four-player, the words interfere with your aiming.

Well it’s awesome of coarse, but for Halo 4 you guys should add more detail to forge. Also in the cut seens for halo 4 you should add more than one sparten, or somthing like that.

I was blown away ten years ago by Halo: CE, and I still pull it out every now and then for nostalgia gaming; I can’t wait for CEA.

I was initially impressed by Halo 2, mainly due to story continuance, dual wield, and more vehicle options, but as time passed I felt like Halo 2 didn’t really live up to the hype surrounding it. I can’t put my finger on exactly why, but it just doesn’t rank as one of my favorites.

I bought Halo 3 a week after its release, and was happy to see Master Chief’s story arc come to an end (or so we all thought at the time). But the more I played it, the less impressed I was–and I can say honestly that this is mainly due to the constant interruptions from Cortana and Gravemind. I also was disappointed to see the Flood for the third time, but now realize that its story, as well, needed closure, and I think Halo 3 delivered on that. I thought the inclusion of skulls in the campaign was great, as well as the ability to toggle them on/off before the mission, rather than only being able to collect them on Legendary and having their effects in place until you quit playing.

I played Halo Wars for all of about two days before I realized that the RTS genre just does not work on consoles, no matter how streamlined the controls are. Traded it in.

I absolutely loved Halo 3: ODST, both for its “flashback” campaign style and the debut of Firefight. I had always played deathmatches in Red Faction 2 on the Playstation 2, and even on that system there were AI players (bots), so I always wondered when/if we would see that in a Halo title. Needless to say, I spent countless hours in Firefight, and I didn’t even have Xbox Live at the time. Another plus was the return of the scoped magnum and the debut of the silenced, scoped SMG.

Halo: Reach has been my favorite title so far. I finally signed up for XBL shortly after getting it, so I’m still a noob as far as online MM goes, but I love it nonetheless. I thought the prequel story arc was a great idea, even though the ending was a foregone conclusion, and after going back and playing Halo 3 online, the navigation menus are incredibly streamlined. The commendation system is another great addition, as it gives players a reason to keep playing other than maintaining a K/D spread.
My only gripe with Reach is the campaign’s AI–Kat most of all. She (and every NPC marine and Noble team member) is a terrible driver/gunner. Countless times I have had to kick her out and drive from Point A to Point B myself because she decided to face a rock wall and call it good, or drive head-on into a Wraith or pair of Ghosts, or steal my Wraith/Ghost/Revenant as I’m completing an objective. They also sit in one spot until I jump out of the turret to drive, only to speed away as soon as I’m on the ground. They also have no regard for team safety when they open fire with the turret, not caring that I’m right where they’re shooting. In fact, she was the only Noble Team death that didn’t make me feel for the character.
Other than that, I like Reach the most out of all the titles.

Halo Lobby should include a ready button for players to start a game. A well liked user interface feature like most PC games with servers have :slight_smile:

Flood firefight, I totally agree. Please put it in 343.

Halo anniversary should have more than 7 maps . 343 if you read this I would hope that you put the other haloCE maps in a D L C , a few monthes after release.[OR HALO 2 MAPS]

I got an idea while playing the Halo reach campaing because of the weekly challenge and I would love it if there are no invisible barriers because I hate to jump agaist a wall but if the wall is invisible I have a problem ^^ and I would love it if there is more exploration or some alternative ways throug a cave or so and also some dead ends where you can find something like the skulls or some hidden weaponry so that you are motivated to explore a little bit more

I love halo, I have been playing sence halo 1 and every day sence the only thing I thank you should to improve the game is the title updates that you are doing and maybe reduce granade power because it just doesnt feel like a halo game with how powerful they are thanks :slight_smile: keep it up i have faith in you P.S if you do not have forge in halo CE it will be brought down because it would be awesome to edit halo 1 and 2 maps

Right;
ATM there is only 4-5 wrists to buy, and not only that but you can only change one wrist.

So i was walking home from school today and thought to myself, “How about 343 add new catagories called ‘left wrist upper’, ‘right wrist upper’ and ‘(both) wrists lower’?”

Now you may be thinking “WHAT IN THE WORLD is 343 going to add for lower wrists!!!”, all in good time friends first i will explain extras for the uppers…

The right wrist will have the same options for attachments as the left. As well keeping all current attachments, how about adding new ones like ‘50. cal rounds’ (like the shotgun shells on the wrists but with 50. cal bullrts instead), and adding the ‘jackel shield’ as a firefight/campaign only usable attachment.

For the lower wrists you could have things that i have had buzzing around in my head, (since i set out on this personal challenge that, when im older i will make real spartan armour ), such as hidden knifes, hooks, chains and a small gun that could be used (if 343 dont mind making a few more hundred annimations) in hijackings, assainations in the campaign and Multiplayer.

The knifes and hooks are pretty self explanitory, the come out you used them to stab things, hook things and throw things then put them away.
But…
>The chain could be used as a strangling weapon, whipping weapon, and a “Get over here!” weapon (pull you foe from a sword’slunge away and stab them or stangle them.
>The gun could be used in assaination only and is used to execute a foe in 3rd person in the bloodiest kind of way (shot to the side of the head)

As well as looking awesome, it would also allow for more differences between peoples armor and skill preferences.

Armour abilities

There should be flames avalible for, say, 1,000,000 cR BUT you can change the colour of them E.G pink, yellow, black, blue, red, green etc.

Another one could be ‘Flood Death’ (when you die you body turns into mini-floods and scatters off to the edges of the map were they explode (non-harmfully) ) 750,000 cR?

Also lowering the cost of inclamite weather and pestilance would be nice.

After almost a solid year of completing Challenges in Halo: Reach, my friends and I have noticed that there seems to be too much emphasis on MM Challenges, which gets pretty boring, especially for the lack of cR associated with them. So for Halo 4, we have come up with a new Challenge system that can be fun for everyone’s preferred game modes.

  1. Three Weekly Challenges per week. One Firefight(Can be completed offline if desired), One Multiplayer Matchmaking, and One Campaign.

  2. Six Daily Challenges per day, two per game mode.

  3. Credits should be worth the amount of time and effort put into the Challenge. Example: Daily Challenges should be worth no less than 2,500 cR and no more than 5,000 cR. While Weekly Challenges should be worth no less than 15,000 cR and no more than 30,000 cr, given that they should take a week to accomplish.

I also think the cR system should not be based on time spent in-game. It should reward you for actually accomplishing something. Example One: Slayer matches should reward you for killing(obviously) but players could earn extra cR by obtaining specialized medals(Assassination, Headcase, etc.) or sprees (Running Riot, Sniper Spree, etc.). Objective gametypes would reward players for accomplishing the objective, not just sitting on their collective Yoink! and farming kills. Kills would not be worth nearly as much as objectives during objective matches.

Here are a couple ideas that my friends and I have been throwing around. I think they could help make a more exciting playing experience or at least add some more variety!

  1. First off, keep innovating! New ideas and option are a must have. The same old song and dance gets old after awhile. (Though it is good to go back and visit time and again) Move forward, but still look back. Never forget where you come from, but don’t live there either.

  2. Firefight- One of my favorite co-op experiences I’ve ever played. Something interesting to see in future titles or updates would be a flood-type firefight map. Fighting the covenant is fun and all, but I think an endless flood of flood would be terrifyingly hard. May have to add “new” units and classes. But, I think it would be worth it. Also like the idea of AI teammates (basic units, not full-fledge spartans of course).

  3. Customization - Not much to change on here, good job so far. Make a larger variety and more details for future games/updates. Like to see more color options (placement, tones, patterns, etc.) thus creating a more unique you. Also, maybe add some different voices for firefight game play (Jon St. John doing a voice just popped in my head lol) and more armor effects (frost effect, fiery death, etc).

  4. Online play options - Place a playlist that revolves around user content. Let users “host” a game from a custom made map and other users can browse and join. Sometimes its hard to get friends together to play custom games. Thus, make a playlist that remedies this. May need certain restrictions to prevent spam/pointless maps. Maybe all custom maps/game types approved before hand? Just an idea.

  5. Free roam in campaign levels. More for machina based ideas, but still would be fun to explore levels more fully. Also allows for more easter eggs to be placed in levels.

  6. Forge - Keep adding to it. I LOVE to create and design levels. However, I still find the amount of tools/objects/textures at my disposal limited. I would like to see future forge be able to create levels from the ground up using more custom items/campaign items/etc. Also, maybe do like a community file share for objects/buildings/vehicles created by other users. This way you can share your various item with one another or search for a specific object. Also, a save item button and a copy/paste format. (especially helpful tool I think). Also, I think an AI addition for forge would increase game type options. Forging a firefight map would be pretty cool. More destructible items, physics specific areas (low gravity in area user created).

  7. Campaign length - Make a more in depth story line. I think I am not alone when I say we are tired of these multiplayer based games that have a campaign of 3-4 hours. I’m not saying sacrifice the mulitplayer side, just put more focus into the campaign side of things then before. Keep 4 co-op for campaign too, but maybe slide the # of enemies to tweak the challenge (along with obvious skulls and difficulty).

  8. Beta test it before you finish it - Make sure the community gets a chance to play a rough version of the game before you begin to finalize the product. Let us tell you how it is, what we like/dislike, bugs, errors, etc. A fresh pair of eyes can see more then those who have been looking at the game for the entire development.

  9. DLC - Keep it coming! Nothing says support for fans like “fresh” DLC for your games. Whether it be for Reach or 4 coming out, make sure all DLC is worth the purchase and effort to have. Map pack are great, but some other additions would be awesome too (new game types, forge stuff, armor abilities, etc). These are just some ideas.

  10. Commendations/challenges - Improve the system! Make the challenges have a bit of unique variety. Play so many games/kill so many enemies in __ mode gets tired after a while. I like having to go find bob and kill him or the one with the elite dropships. Maybe in future games create challenges that are more creative in nature. More random events in campaign levels would help with this or even in firefight would be cool too. For multiplayer, it could be a simple as having a particular medal or having your body travel so far from an explosion (lead to some neat warthog jumps). As for commendations, make them more accessible and have even more variety. Drive for ____ miles call it Road Trippin’. Fly for ___miles call it Frequent Flyer. These would be neat also for tracking of stats too.

These are just some ideas of mine, some I would love to see a version or variation implemented in future games/updates. Any questions or ideas to add on to, let me know. There is so much more that could be elaborated on. But, overall, keep up the good work! Here’s to looking forward to the new trilogy.

I was just wondering/throwing the idea out there for any of the future halo games to be in 3D. Call of duty has the stereoscopic 3d setting and it looks amazing in 3d, so I can only imagine how great halo would look in true 3d.
