How about build multiple pre-made weapon pallets and gametypes for multiplayer that reflect the gameplay of the original trilogies.

EX. H1 gametypes with given physics and weapons. H2 and H3 also with their own gametypes. I would love to pit the H2 BR up against the H3 BR…

Or how about give us Mark IV, V, VI and possibly VII to choose form for our player’s base armor. Other layers such as shoulders and helmets could be edited on top of that.

Each armor set would have a different mobility assist (speed and jump) along with shield endurance and recharge speed. Could be fun to balance out…

Id like to see some flood gameplay in the near future for CEA. Also, Id LOOOVE to have Floodfight as DLC.

For CEA, please return the M90, the M45 doesnt belong in CE.

For Reach, Id like to see more Default Invasion maps.

fix the exploitable areas in infection please. Like the cliffside, or the top of the building on Asylum. As well as the building on The Cage. Also cut off the vents in Swordbase.

Well, i have some ideas for Firefight. Why not floods in firefight ? It would be so amazing, a survival horror game type in Halo !

Also, imagine, a scalable firefight map ? Fighting for survival on a scarabs moving in real time and the objective is to protect the heart of the scarabs, just like an objective game type for firefight as the generator in reach. It would bring memories from Halo 2 too :slight_smile:

Finally, imagine a firefight gametype where we have to buy some place of the map, our weapon and wehicule ? Just like -Yoink!- zombie from call of duty, but adapted for Halo :stuck_out_tongue: The coop in firefight would be improved !

I am really excited about anniversary and the TU however without a new ranking system that works the online experience is not going to change at all and is going to remain boring and without purpose.

A message to 343:Very soon the halo reach population WILL drop to a level so low that there will be no recovery. This is because currently the niche that halo fills is a mass consumer product for casual gamers. When gears and CoD are released they both will occupy a very similar nich to halo however will do much better at playing its role as these games have been in this area for sooooo long.

THE ONLY WAY TO REDUCE THIS DROP IN POPULATION IS BY CHANGING THE NICHE THAT HALO FITS INTO BACK TO WHAT IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN WHICH IN MY OPINION IS “A COMPETATIVE GAME THAT CAN BE PLAYED CASUALLY”

It shouldn’t affect in gameplay, just purely aesthetic part of your Spartan.

I would like to see option for changing HUD colours, like instead off dull blue, it would be nice to add some colours like yellow, red, silver, gold, black etc… For multiplayer, not for campaign(!)

Ho, i forget something about the title update …

You make a mistake with the camo. You will encourage players to camp ! I think that would be better if, when we camp, the camo decreases but when we walk, it lasts longer.

The camo is efficient when you are in close building with corridor and things like this, and you take an ennemy by surprise … If you let the title update like this, everyone will camp to keep the efficiency of the camo :confused: Think about it please.

And the jet pack, could you reduce it ? It’s too efficient ! In a lot of party, i see everyone with jet pack because it’s better than sprint.

Halo Reach was an experiment of a game, and based on its population, we should leave it that way. Salvage nothing, except maybe netcode. Build Halo 4 from Halo 3, and PLEASE disregard Reach.

I think I already posted this though, but I’m not sure.

I really would like to see Halo 4 like a first/start title for the next Xbox instead on the 360 again.
The console will be 7years old in 2012, and has already 3 main Halos on it and a spin-off.
For a brand new saga created by a brand new team…a brand new console/generation would be the perfect place to start all over again… :wink:

Me and many other firefighters are asking if you guys can make the return of set skulls happen. For those who don’t know, in ODST, at the start of the second set, tilt turns on, at the start of the third, famine comes on, etc. Please add these back and make firefight get progressively harder again, this in itself ruins firefight for me.

The Legendary not supposed to die + skulls campaign daily challenges are super lame. Please get rid of them. There is nothing skill-challenging about them, only dumb-challenging.

On a personal note I would like it if armour permutations actually gave small bonuses, such as the Trauma Kit giving extra health or the Sniper shoulder armour giving extra ammunition to long-range weapons.

Each major Halo game has given us more customization for our armor and Halo 4 will likely continue this trend. I believe that Halo 4 needs an Armor Saving feature similar to Map and Game type variants. What I propose is that there should be an option in the Armor Customization screen which allows you to select a permutation (eg Recon), this give you all the pieces of that permutation, allowing you to use it as the base for your customization. Bellow the built in armors is where your custom ones will appear. Picture this: You’ve made a Spartan you absolutely love, it uses a number of different pieces and colors but you’ve had it for a while and would like something new. You save your current appearance and change your spartan, later you decide to go back, you go to the Armor menu, scroll down to your saved armor and at the press of a button you have your old appearance. Many other games have similar features and I think it would fit in well with Halo’s armor customization.

I would also like to see Floodfight, that would be the best kind of Firefight gametype I could imagine.

Weekly Challenge playlist.

Pillar of Autumn only, Legendary Only, 12 skulls on, reasonable game complete payout (i.e. higher than the pathetic level co-op campaign is now), with 20% bonus (standard ‘performance bonus’, but preferably something more like 50%) for doing it in under an hour.

I mean, there is no way I’m going to take requests from randomers who might live half a world away for help with a weekly challenge. But I might pop into the weekly challenge playlist on occasion, especially if I can get some credits in return for helping people throught after the first time.

I do not know if this has already been said, but I would like to see a download for “English Audio” … I mean, if you want to buy the game in your native language and that one day you decide you want to play the game with the original voices …

Please please please please please please please please please remove spartan evade from all MM playlists.

It is so unfair

It is just as cheap as the unmodified armor lock. Don’t modify spartan evade just take it out.

I suspect that some of the members here can agree that it would be good to see the voice of Chipps Dubbo added to Firefight voice list, however I think it would be kinda cool to have Guilty Spark’s voice to the list as well.

An idea for Halo Reach Daily & weekly challenges.

While still preserving 4 daily challenges and 1 weekly challenge I believe it would be beneficial to the broader player base to include three options to chose from for each daily and weekly challenge. The player to have three predetermined choices (CAMPAIGN, FIREFIGHT, and MULTIPLAYER) per 4 daily and weekly challenge, but can only chose 1 out of the 3 predetermined choices per daily and weekly challenge. Once one out of three options is fulfilled the daily challenges or weekly challenge is then completed and the next one opens up on schedule.

I think after the next Trilogy is over with and the saga is complete 343 should just release an ultimate Halo multiplayer game. I’m talking all the weapons, maps, armor, AAs, equipment, firefight, forge and so on. Have a playlist page with a melting pot of everything then have separate playlist pages to mimic the classic Halo 1, 2, 3, ext experience. In the melting pot playlists you should be able to pick human, spartan IIs, or IIIs, elites and brutes plus whatever else is in store for us in the future. Then have playlists like human v humans, human v spartans, ext ext. Also add a Halo cutscene maker.
