There’s something else I would like to add.

I hope that 343 will be prepared to deal with the cheaters who feel the need to shut off the internet of other players in order to win.

I trust that people who consistently play at high levels will be able to accumulate evidence of DDoSing in Halo matchmaking and share it with 343 and the community. Perhaps upon reviewing the evidence, account and/or console bans can and will be allocated as necessary.

One thing I forgot to mention, regarding Forge:

When we place turrets, there should really be an option to make them non-detachable. In every single Forge map I’ve ever made, I’ve never placed a turret because I knew that nobody would use it for its intended purpose, but instead rip it off and run around the map with it, which is a shame because the turrets are a pretty strong defensive weapon at lower levels.

Please 343i, make it happen. It actually shouldn’t be too hard to pull off.

Don’t stray too far from H2/3 gameplay with H4. Make it similar, and for the love of God, bring back the BR.

Halo is the best FPS of all time and I think you guys will do a great job.

For Halo 4:

  • Bring back Halo 3 style infection for Halo 4, it was soooo fun with gametypes such as Fat Kid, Speed Demons etc. And please have them on maps that are actually suitable for infection.

  • Introduce Flood fight, where the player has to fight off hordes of flood. Make the environments scary, with fog/mist and rain and really eerie music.

  • Bring back Halo 3 ranking system.

  • Assassinations are AWESOME, I hope they return for Halo 4.

  • More emblem customization, instead of choosing emblems why not make them ourselves? (black ops style)

  • Campaign with lots of replayability.

  • Forge worlds with different environments and forge pieces (the reason Reachs forge got boring was because of too many grey pieces)

Oh, and new environments for multiplayer.

Okay, well I posted what I have to say in another forum, but was told to give my Feedback here, let’s hope it gets noticed!

Alright, well when I saw the anniversary Fire Fight will be like, I was like, “Holy crap, awesome! We finally get friendly A.I. to help us out too!” But at the same time, it would just feel like any other Fire Fight map. I’ve talked about this idea of mine with a few friends and they all agree it would be really epic for this to happen, but I’m sure others have suggested it too.

On to the idea. Well, I was thinking one of the maps could be based from a section of Two Betrayals, Keyes, or The Maw. First, you would fight groups of Covenant of course, fight for your life. Once the wave is over though, there could be an explosion or some ominous sound or some sort of theme, and Flood would appear in the fight. They wouldn’t just fight though, Infection forms could infect the dead Covenant and come right at you with the weapons the Elites/Brutes once carried. (I say Brutes because the Fire Fight will still be based off of Reach.

This idea would be a way of saying, “You think Reach Fire Fight was something? Well have a freaking fun time trying to stop this!” No, I’m not saying make it godly or anything, but having to fight the Flood in Firefight and the Covenant? That would be a blast. I figure it would be possible too, but I could be wrong, I don’t know too much about developing such stuff.

If anyone agrees, please feel free to say so, but I hope it gets noticed. I’m not asking for it to be an immediate release of it, perhaps it could be a DLC along the line after a month or two, or three, doesn’t matter. I just think I speak for many others that would love the challenge of fighting so many enemies with friendly A.I.

Please consider the following for Halo 4
Flamethower-Halo PC
I seriously hope the flamethower is in Halo 4, and not the one from Halo 3, but Halo PC. Someone said somewere that Halo 4 will be returing to the original Halo idea and whats more original than the Halo PC flamethower? Not much I say. Having a first-person flamethower would be something we have never seen before and would be completely awesome.
SMG and Assault Rifle
I’m pretty sure the SMG and AR will be in Halo 4 so I’ll give you my opinion. Obviously, they both need to be balanced. To do this, I think the AR should have 2x zoom like the SMG had in ODST, and the SMG should be like it was in Halo 3, with a 60 round mag and no zoom. That way, the 32 round mag AR would fill the medium to long range gap and the SMG would fill the short. After all, Assault Rifles are longer range weapons, so having zoom for the AR and not the SMG would make perfect sense.
Longsword fighter airstike in firefight
It would be cool to call in longsword fighters to bomb enemy positions like the Halo 2 E3 demo.
Flood
I think the Flood should be incorporated into firefight in some capacity.
Another type of UNSC grenade
It would be nice to have another type of grenade since the frag has been the only human grenade so far.
Melle combos
This kind of sounds cool to be able to hit someone multiple times like in the Halo 2 E3 demo. However, I dont know if it would actually work.
Fix framerate issues
Probabley the most annoying thing is bad framerate, especially in firefight. I have noticed that framerate suffers on some of the firefight maps and also in campaign. In my opinion, it just ruins the experience and makes me want to shut off my X-box. In particular, the Glacier firefight map in Reach suffers from bone-jarring framerate that is so bad I never do that map. Seriously, I’m not kidding! In conclusion, I think you guys at 343 need to really take into consideration the framerate issue for Halo to continue to be fun. Reach had the worst framerate of any Halo game so far and thats not a good thing.
Longer reload animations
It’s true that the golden three things of Halo are guns, grenades and melee. However, I think it should be guns, grenades and reload. Thats right, Halo has been iconic for sweet reload animations and Halo 4 should make it even better. I think the Halo 1 reloads were the best, as they were the most detailed. It was actually fun to reload your gun in Halo 1, then in Halo 2 it totally sucked! In my opinion, Halo 1 was iconic for reloads that made you feel powerful and “one” with your weapon. In conclusion, the reload animations in Halo 4 should be like Halo:CE, that way reloading can be fun for everyone!
Armor Abilities
If AAs are in Halo 4 then I think they should be further tweaked and improved. Mabe they could be used as equipment instead of loadouts.

Just something small, it would be nice to choose what side you exit certain vehicles from by moving the analog stick in that direction.

Attention 343 Industries!
It has come to my attention that Reach firefight is seriously flawed. Would you like to know what I mean? Ok, I’ll tell you what I mean. I think a lot of people prefered the ODST style of firefight with limited ammo and set skulls that got progressively harder. This just felt better all around. Reach, on the other hand, completely screwed up firefight by giving you the option to have infinite ammo and a bunch of other crap. But even worst than that, it let you unlock the firefight achievements with these custom cheat codes! How does that make me want to come back and do firefight if I know in the back of my mind I can just turn on custom settings and “earn” over 50 gamerscore? How does this enhance my firefight experience and keep me coming back? Well, you got me. I know Frankie loves firefight so you guys need to tell him what actually makes it fun. I don’t think he would say Invincibility and bottomless clips enhance the experience. If he does then God help him because firefight is going down the drain. What do I have to look forward to in future Halo games if I know I can unlock the achievements with custom cheat codes? I hope Frankie comes to his senses because I dont know who would think thats a good idea. I know I’m not the only person who thinks this was a stupid idea for firefight so you guys at 343 need to actually consider this if firefight 3.0 is not to be worthless.

THE BOTTOM LINE !
The option to use custom firefight settings like Invulnerability and bottomless clips completely ruins your desire to beat the high scores and earn the achievements. What’s the point of even having achievements if you can use cheats to unlock them? Please change these things in Halo 4. Thank you.

Now I have read your update on the TU changes, if I may express my honest opinion as a person who has used Active Camo often, It is actually on of the most under-powered abilities, At the very least second to Hologram.If 343 Industries is going to reduce the timers on that ability, at the very least, in my opinion make it a more potent ability, such changes that I may recommend would be.

~Reduce the time it takes to have Camoflauge completely activated.

~Reduce the sensitivity of the camoflauge to movement.
As it is currently, is that even the slightest movement causes the entire camoflauge to nearly fail or at least break to a point where it is highly noticeable, make it so we can at the very least move at a decent pace with it.

For instance in Halo 2, and even in Halo:CE we could run with Camoflauge without being seen.In fact Camoflauge was the ability I most looked forward to in Halo: Reach, unfortunately it fell way below what I expected and therefore disappointed me, and more than likely many others.

To Recap

Reduce the time it takes to be completely camoflauged.

Make Camoflauge less sensitive/weakened to movement, even fast movement

If its intended to be used to make quick escapes, make it so that it can be used at higher speeds.Anyway I hope my feedback gets considered, (and possibly tested for the lulz, God how I hate that word…) Good luck, See you Star-Side.

Please add a ranking system to more playlists. Add more arena or something of this sort. As it stands right now there is only arena slayer which gets very boring.

Also please remove all AA’s from arena other than sprint. You can remove sprint as well if you like.

If the MLG playlist became an “Arena” playlist this might be sufficent. I would like to see ranked everything and social everything like in H3 but if thats not possible this simple change would be great.

For the waypoint forums. You should be able to take a picture in theatre in halo reach, upload it to your file share and then use it as your forum picture on this site.

Also VIP should be added in the reach TU.

I hope in the gamma forums we can do all and maybe more than we can do in the bungie.net forums and same with the stats.

I never liked Halo 3’s or Reach’s Ranking system but in Halo 4 I think the Credits should return, however totally different. Like this:

-1cR per kill
-Double Kill = 2cR, Triple Kill = 3cR ect. (Possibly lower)
-Assist = 0.5cR
-Killing Spree = 2cR (Possibly lower)
-Win bonus - 10cR (Possibly lower)
-MAYBE - Death = -0.2cR (Possibly Higher)

Well 343 would decide how much cR you get for different medals - some would only get 0.2cR.
Obviously to get to the next rank wouldn’t take the amount of credits reach takes to get to the next challenge.
It would also make daily challenges worth like 20cR - 40cR which would be worth loads.

This would definitely show your amount of skill via rank.

Please don’t make the ranking system like Halo 3’s whatever you do because that showed no skill because you had to win to get an XP.

This issue could be solved by the complete removal of Armor Abilities altogether… maybe you should change your wish to that…

Bigger fileshare.

i.e. more slots.

I’m always having to delete stuff from my fileshare and am actually considering getting a secondary 'tag with B Pro just so I can have even most of my stuff online.

I don’t mind so much how you do this: either increase the standard sizes, or offer an even bigger fileshare option above pro. It would be useful for communities as well to be able to have more than 24 slots.

Well this isn’t a feedback per se but something on the lines of it would be awesome to see kinda post, so excuse me if it shouldn’t be here…

Well the Halo series (all of it not just the games) is a vast one, incredible lore on books, unbelivable fps games, and in my humble opinion a great great story to read/play.

Ok where am I going with this… simple: interconectivity

The new triology seems to be coming tied with the extended universe (THX 343i) witch is very cool, and the one thing that is missing from the EU to go in the games is ancient humans… I belive we got a glimpse in Halo Legends of what the ancient humans building were like, the ruins in babysitter… but you know as the new books are coming, the cryptum and all I got really curious to what ancient human society might have been… from it’s prime to it’s downfall… and I would like to see it in game perhaps in terminals on the new triology… or who knows… a small group still alive stranded somewhere on the fringe of the galaxy… just saying =]

The other thing that would be really cool to see now that the human/covenant war is over is the future of spartans,
and by that I mean A SPARTAN AI, that would be awsomelycool.com an AI made from a KIA spartan, maybe someone from the books that got his/her body recovered… imagine the inpact on another spartan (*cough *cough…Jhon…*cough) identifying a friend of the past as a new AI… that would be cool… and if not as this maybe as a sperimental AI on another media anther then the games (book/anime).

I just got a great idea for Halo4’s forge. There should be an option to make structures movable objects, like if you hit a rectangular tower with a rocket it will fall over. This should really be put in.

Got a cool idea for a ‘Universal’ gametype.

Two teams. Two outposts. Each having three specific buildings… HQ, COMM and Vehicle Depot. Each of the buildings are powered through generators exposed outside the base walls. If a generator goes down, that team loses the abilities associated with the given building.

Ex. Comm goes down, you lose radar and possibly communication with an AI like base notifier…

Specialized weapons all spawn via drop pod packages bought with in-game credits. (No camping on rocket spawn…)

Each time you spawn, it’s done via drop pod and within an allowed radius of the compound.

Vehicles purchased built and distributed via Vehicle Depot, which can also be shut down via loss of generator.

Special equipment such as bombs, orbital strikes, repair tool, placeable turrets can also be purchased on will drop from orbital vessel.

You can win by depleting their reinforcements, destroying their outpost or obtaining their flag.

Situation: A skilled player gains enough points to call in a orbital strike on the opposing teams base but, that team has both COMM and HQ generators up, the strike is rendered ineffective. This is because the COMM station detected the orbital fire and the HQ allowed for the outpost’s AA to shoot it down. Many layers of strategy here.
