I’m gonna repeat this since the latest footage/commentary shows that it still hasn’t been dealt with.
Please bring back the FOG to 343 GUILTY SPARK!
And to be especially explicit, bring it back to the copious amounts seen in the original.
And then there’s the blood/ bullet holes which are missing in the anniversary graphics. Another element which is vital to the atmosphere of the level.
One more thing, the color saturation on the level is excessive (maybe in the whole game). It gives it a very comic booky look that again, does not fit the tone set by the original. Fog might help but if not it would be nice to bring it down. Vibrant greens and blues don’t say creepy like the pale sickly green and muted hues of the original.

On a positive note, the H4 environment concept art looks awesome.
PLease don’t nerf Active Camo! This is coming from a guy with a .82 KD. Sure there are people who take advantage of this AA but it’s like that with each AA. The while point of the AA’s are to use them to your advantage however works for you. And while I agree that Armout Lock could possibly use some tweaking I also (as many) don’t have a problem with it if it remains the same. I’d rather not see changes affect Reach at all unless you’re playing in some sort of “classic” list. You know, the devil you know vs. the devil you don’t.
If anything it would be better not to match randoms against full parties in social playlists. That would probably stop alot of the complaints.
I was just thinking that I’m a pilot kinda guy. And really it would be really cool if for big team battle you could choose a sort of class to define your roll in the match. Something like a designated driver, gunner, pilot, or infantrymen to choose.
Also its really frustrating when you get into a falcon and no-one wants to get in, and all that you can do is try to dodge bullets. You should be able to defend yourself like with the hornet in halo 3. Now the gun doesn’t have to be super strong; just enough to be able to take out whomever is shooting at you.
Really I don’t care if it has rockets or machine guns or both, as long as I can actually be able to defend myself with some sort of offensive weapon I’m happy with that.
It seems Reach must be using damage_mod^2 rather than damage_mod somewhere in the code. The numbers work out correctly when that substitution is made. On the other hand, damage resistance appears to work correctly.
I enjoy the depth of the Halo Universe alot, but recently while you have been involved with the Halo literature I have noticed quite alot of canon errors in the novels (the re-issued ‘The Fall of Reach’) and other pieces of literature ‘The Halo Encyclopedia’ which I believed were mistakes that could have been fixed before they were mass produced, personally I see it as partly carelesness and positions 343 in a mixed position as people will not be sure if they can be assured you can be handled with future Halo titles e.g. the new Halo trilogy.
Now that AI is in firefight im hoping to see them in custom firefight options. I would love to control how many troops, what troops you have there accuracy, hearing, sight, spawn weapons ext. please 343
Please remove the offline credit restrictions. 50 credits per game is NOT FAIR to offline players. You always say how the Halo community is varied, please do not discriminate against part of that community.
I’m posting this on the day Halo Fest started, and I’ve gotta say, you guys are AMAZING at throwing atmosphere into a Halo map.
Follow through for Halo 4. Make beautiful, diverse environments for us to play on. I cannot stress enough how important that is, though you guys obviously already know what you’re doing.

Great Idea, I would also like to be able to adjust their aggression levels and tactics used to take down an enemy. Options like defend or fight dirty.
Since this is the only Firefight map with friendly AI, Has the AI programming for driving vehicles been improved? I would like to spend some time in the gunner postion on the warthog.
A control system needs to be put in place to direct the AI drivers on which paths to take around the map. Something in third person view while a player is using the turret on the warthog. The player could move his gun sight over a group of enemies and click a controller button to target them. The AI driver would take the best route to get the player within the firing range of the warthog turrent to kill the targeted enemies. Other controller buttons could be assigned for control basic stop and go, flee and creep functions. The whole system could be called the back seat driver system.
I was wondering if the Banshees on this firefight map are able to be Skyjacked? This is one of the few Firefight medals that I do not currently have in my medal chest.
Feedback? as in how the game plays, or how I love the game?
If so i have some ideas that would make the game more interesting!
For example, the assassination in halo reach was cool but what if it could turn out into like a mini duel of sorts?
Let’s say a player drops behind you and hits the x button to assassinate you right? But you quickly realize this and pull x yourself and your spartan grabs the arm of the assassin behind him and tosses him over his head and brings his knife down onto him! BUT if the assassin is quick enough a pull of the x button again makes him grab that knife coming towards his face and both spartans end up falling down and wrestling to see who can kill who.
I say that it would depend on the shield strength and life of a player that determines the outcome of a wrestle but say they both have full life? well it turns into a slug fest of sorts.
On the halo waypoint forums, have more posts per page and more replies per page on the forums. Especially if your not putting forums for different games.
Hi, I’m a colour blind person ( there are 3 types of colour blind, mine is with the blue specialy ).
The Halo reach HUD is invisible for me, that realy hard to no scope. Bungie can u make a colour blind option for people like me. Battlefield Bad company 2 put this option on and that realy cool. I don’t have any problem with flag, or team mates in halo, but just the HUD.

Changing colour or contrast of my monitor does not help.
TV for colour-blind people is very expensive.
Gamer not colour-blind wants to change their HUD color too.
