If you are banned from warzone or arena too much, would you be banned forever?

Ik how u feel I was banned 4 times in 3 hours and got the same message
yeeeeeeaaa so warzone about 5 minutes in kicks me to a screen that has:
fire team 1/12
me
(b) to quit
(rs) mute all
and all that good stuff
but i cant leave that screen and if i stay nothing happens im out of the game.
so after 3 attempts i went nevermind ill play arena half way through a game of slayer i was bannedā¦

So for the last 5 hours ive had none stop lag. I quit a round of doubles because every 4-5 seconds, literally, i would lag. Just for hand a second. So i quit and was banned for 6 minutes I went to go check my modem after i restarted my One and it seemed fine. Download 80mpgs, upload 17, ping 22. I jump back on after i restarted my xbox and is doing the same thing nobody would be able to bare with it. I died 3 or 4 times in, what seemed like, 30 seconds. I wasnt going to watch a laggy screen,so quit to figure it out and banned im not sure the time limit but i never quit only when power goes out, internet or some other crap. But for real 343 needs to check up on their banhammer algorithms

My question is this, I got banned for quiting one game, because my teammates left, and then yesterday I got banned for, to me looks like nothing I didnāt quit a game or anything like that? And I donāt cheat or anything to that nature, my connection may suck sometimes cause I got stinky Internet but I stay in every game and play right. Do people report people or something because I find it very frustrating and unfair! Doesnāt make sense to me.
So, what exactly constitutes habitual quitting? Because I know for a fact that every time Iāve left a game and tried to continue playing, no matter how long itās been since I last quit a game, Iāll get kicked out after the next one. Itās remarkably counter-intuitive. Why would you create a leave option at all then if youāre just going to penalize folks for just occasionally using it. I get that it sucks when people quit games excessively, but what recourse do I have if Iām (a) in a game where the numbers are lopsided from the beginning, or (b) so terrible relative to my teammates that itās strategically wiser to quit? Yeah, I get that itās only for 8+ minutes, but itās just annoying.

It is the percentage of Dnfās compared to games played, so you need to complete a lot of games to get off of the banning cycle. As far as anyone can tell the Dnfās do not reset or get removed from the system.

Interesting. Clearly, this wasnāt a feature 343 felt needed further testing before implementation. Iām not complaining, most times I quit, Iām done playing for the day. Iām all for a banning system that targets jerks and quitters, but the execution is just plain lazy. Iād actually be pretty happy if I got banned from Slayer because I quit in Slayer too often, and not out of the entire multiplayer experience.
I may have gotten an accidental ban. I havenāt done anything wrong, but I got the game from game sharing and every time I go into the game, it says " Error authorizing this account with Halo 5: Guardians services. You will be unable to access online services. Please help, I am rank 40 already and donāt want to have to restart.

Have to put up with kind of none sense good job 343 smh ā¦ Thatās a thumbs down for you guys . Now I now not to buy the next halo anymore . So I wonāt have to put up with stuff like this . Anyone who has poor connection or decent . Forward it to everyone so 343 can make a change of not we riot !

They donāt even have a support number or anything, this is apparently the only way to show any concern, with a daily limit on posts, and have yet to see any actual 343 input, and forum moderators canāt help, and donāt post anything constructive either. Weāve got to face that we the players are faced with a below par gameing company, and we have no other choice but to use the limited tool given to us for support(this thread). Just keep the concerns up about this particular problem and maybe **just maybe, 343 will hear us.**Remember, keep up these post, and keep them civil, and happy posting guys.
Banhammer really sucks, I have to play the entire match when my teammates quit, otherwise I get a 10 hour ban just for quiting a game that everyone has already quit.

Yes if your connection isnāt stable enough to play you would be ruining the experience for other players.
i got banned for lagging out 3 times how can i fix this
I got disconnected after a game of infection was done and then got banned. I quit the game before but thatās it. Iāve only played 2 games today. The one I quit, and this infection game. Awesome to see your ban hammer is broken and banning people at random

Its a a flawed ban system that is trying to force law into how we play video games: it has no place
