Apparently I can’t take a quick piss mid-game in Warzone without getting booted with the following message: “Wake up, John”. I’ve seen people stand around for 3+ minutes, but when I’m gone for 60sec it’s a big deal?
i’m just saying this is completely wrong . “I didn’t do anything wrong, and you can’t prove it. Will you please reverse my ban?
Our automated system builds up a digital case of wrongdoing before any ban is enacted. If you accidentally disconnect a time or two, you won’t get banned. Instead the system looks for patterns that can’t happen accidentally. If the banhammer detects enough wrongdoing, you were doing wrong.” that’s complete BS. i have only left 2 games since this game came out and they were because life calls. the other crap ton of times is because some -Yoink- bag host decides to just quit the application therefore it disconnects me from the game and that counts at quitting. FIX YOUR SYSTEM

This is a separate issue, unrelated to banning. It’s also something that was recently fixed - your boosts won’t return straight away, but you will get them back after 1 or 2 more games, I can confirm this
I haven’t even had the chance to be banned. I’ve been kicked from the last 8 or so Warzone games I’ve joined by the “Your Fireteam has changed” bug. I KNOW it’s not on my end, my connection is stable and I’ve literally uninstalled all of Halo 5 and reinstalled it. It’s also happened to me in Arena games. I mostly play Grifball, and I realized that the game was disconnecting when other players leave when booting a teammate who was intentionally killing me caused me to instantly dc. In any Arena or Warzone game, the instant a player leaves the game for any reason, the system kicks me out. I haven’t been able to complete a game to reset the ban clock because of this bug and I’m at my wits end. I’ve paid for this game, for xbox live, and even for a few req packs, but I’m completely unable to play the game. I’m probably banned for two weeks when I finally complete a Warzone game. I am so frustrated, and don’t know what to do. This has been going on for 2 days, and happened out of nowhere.

i legit just got unbanned, got in a game, and low and behold, it quit me again, and i got sent to dashboard…

i just tried again, and again, it kicked me, saying i left, and im banned.
I was kicked 3 times from servers today randomly, i didnt do anything wrong, didnt quit or betray anyone, the last time i was banned, it happened about an hour later when i was playing infected and kept accidentally jumping off the map while evading infected, i was banned again. What am i supposed to do if it asserts to situations i cannot directly imprint( i understand not jumping off the nap, i wasnt doing it on purpose, im brand new to the game) now im worried i cant do anything without being banned. I havent even been playing for two days yet and ive already been banned twuce fir extremely minor offenses, please someone help.

I have plenty of in game 30 second “record that” clips of getting short duration bans from “there has been a problem with the Halo 5 guardians servers” kicks where I straight up disconnect from the turret of a warthog, or driver seat of my tank. 343, how dumpable are your servers from DDOS attacks? And will you dedicate 600$ a month to adequate shielding, or keep lining your pockets with gold? And for the -Yoink- out there who isn’t educated; my latency to Microsoft is 67ping, download speed 84.6mbps, upload 10.1, open NAT. I disconnect from REQ stations.
Lets have an honest talk about the dreaded “banhammer” it’s flawed. It doesn’t seem to reset so if you’ve made the grave error of backing out of a few games you get stuck with such an unreasonable punishment.
Why would someone quit even though there is a chance of being banned?
Mods. Glitches. Cheaters and all around crappy people. There is no fun or merit to sticking around in a game where you have no chance of even spawning. Maybe crack down on them instead?
Lag. Every game I played yesterday was so laggy it made me feel dizzy. The game would jump around so much that it eventually crapped out resulting in another unfortunate ban.
There is no forgiveness, no leeway. You could have a great month and get stuck with a couple of bad games and get locked out for days. It needs to be fixed.
Yes people who leave games constantly is annoying but someone people are simply just a victim of circumstance.
Above all, this isn’t a free service. We pay for it. $300 bucks for a system and $60 for the game and then you have the live gold monthly fees. It’s ridiculous that after all that money spent you can be put on a virtual “time out” for something that simply wasn’t your fault.
Right now I’m sitting on a 10 hour ban. I was being spammed game invites by someone I don’t know excessively during a game to the point where I couldn’t focus I said “Xbox ignore that” and Xbox opened it, forcing me out of my game and slapping me on the wrist with a 10 hour ban. Ridiculous.
I tried contacting live support and they said they only ones who could help is the 343 industries but guess what? They have no direct line for customer service. So I’m stuck with this stupid ban and when I eventually play again, God forbid my power goes out because then I will be “spanked” with an even longer ban.
Fix the system. Add a reset for it. And let your customers (you know, the ones who financially support your company) contact you if needed.
I am 16 years old, and habitually quit games for reasons out of my control. My mother may tell me that I need to get off, and despite how much I explain to her that I can’t, she doesn’t seem to get it. Also, about 30 minutes before I posted this, I quit a game because I needed to look for my little sister who had suddenly last contact with us. Luckily she was able to establish communication with us once more,but that resulted in an unnecessarily need for me to quit a game. As a result, my account has built up a record of habitual quitting, even though it’s out of my control. I would like some help with this as soon as possible. Thank you.
343 I hope you guys had fun trolling the community with your banhammer crap. you guys punish people for quitting out of games where there’s hackers but yet do nothing to the hackers? so does that mean i can hack every damn lobby and i’ll be safe? that’s the way it seems to me.

dude my ping is 17 to xbl and 21 to 343 servers and i still disconnect. they aren’t getting DDOS attacks it’s the plain fact that their servers can’t hold the amount of pressure it’s receiving from all the games, forging etc. they have a max connect speed of 150mbps down which honestly is crap for a server.
I was kicked from a game and received a ban, no quitting involved and only a single occurrence. I don’t think I deserve a ban just because 343 can’t properly maintain its servers. Sadly, it seems that 343 has decided that if it’s broke, don’t fix it.
Whenever i finish an arena game of any type, i get immediately banned despite the game having ended and my connection remaining stable throughout the game. At this point i have a 3 day ban becuase of this. I have not left any arena game in the past two weeks. This is getting out of hand.

you either lagged out or quit early on in your last match which is your most recent
past that there are 11 DNFs in the past week also.
finishing a game does not get you banned what you are experiencing if you are getting DC during the post credits is, the game before you had received a DNF, the system lets you play one more game till completion, then once the game is recorded as complete it will kick you from the server to give you your ban that you got fromthe game before

He can’t kick you mid game… That ability does not exist. Just sit there an think about how the could be abused for the fire team leader to kick his party anytime MID GAME. The error message you received was the fire team bug that has been going around. uunfortunately it registers as leaving early. But 10 mins should be up any minute now from when you first posted.

I just think that this realy unfair and should be a priority fix for 343 considering how many people on this forum alone are getting problems from it
