Okay, i just got off a 24hr ban because of the same reason, but i played 4 games off FFA did not leave a single one, game finishes and another 24hr ban, whats going on?

you have a DNF right before the game you finished⌠we can all see you service record. so since you just got off a ban a DNF so soon the system gave you another one
i say DNF also not quit, also the system has a delay on usually someone finishing a game or two before the ban strikes
This banning system is so messed up, I lagged out of one game and I got banned for an hour
Itâs been a great game, I get the screen saying victory and then right at the end it says lost connection followed by a ban. It has happened to me so many times and it just gets me really frustrated. you have 3 DNFs in your last 10 games, one being the game right before you finished your last. when the game says game over and the timer stops it is counted as a complete you can not be banned for that game. there is a delay from the DNF you had on the game before that happens generally one game later. saying you lost connection the game is just expediting your ban since you alreay finished the game you were in. you are not being banned for games finished but for the games prior that you know you didnt finish
i keep getting banned as i automatically get kicked out of games and they translate that as âmeâ leaving the game. This seriously gets me pissed! especially when youâve done nothing wrong havenât betrayed anyone, try to join a game with your fireteam and it automatically puts you back on the home screen saying that your fire team has changed and soâŚ
I am getting sick and tired of being banned for âquittingâ when I get disconnected from the server. One minute I"m winning the game, the next minute I have a 30 minute wait because I âquitâ the server. I donât even care about having a banhammer in Halo 5 anymore. It bans more people for disconnecting from the server than it actually bans people who rage quit. Let them rage quit, I donât care. Just stop banning me for getting randomly disconnected from the server.

ALL of my server disconnections show up in my game history with my stats at the point I was kicked, with the game finished stats of all others⌠including the win/loss⌠with the big DNF displayed. So unless this last update corrected those problems (I wouldnât know, I stopped playing over a week ago due to being fed up with the game) Kihn x ju is slandering on outdated information. So if you could stop commenting out of ignorance, that would be grreeeeaaat.

That is the biggest problem. I moved back to BF3, ESO, and even popped in some old Diablo 3 to get away from the poor servers used by 343i. Even if the run a service, script, or program to identify the differences between disconnects and people selecting the quit option, that still doesnât address the poor server issues.

umm if you would actually read, i give an exact message that is correlated with my disconnects âlost connection to the dedicated serverâ
i am not saying every single DC doesnt show up. just when this one does that in my experience it does not show up in game history or count as a DNF. so if you would stop pay attention and READ you might understand. if i was stating all DC dont show up then you might have a valid point but i didnt, just that one. as i have not had any other message such as the âfire team has changedâ one. so i am not slandering only speaking out from my own personal experience.
in case you missed the point in my past 50 or so games i have been kicked mid game with a message âlost connection from dedicated serverâ roughly ten times. not ONE of those games even shows up in my game history. so i know not all DC count against you. i also know what i am experiencing is not just some random fluke and getting lucky. not ten times. also other players have stated getting a DC does not show up in their history as well. i am aware there is more then one message that comes along with geting a DC. maybe the others do something different. idk and i wont say since i have no proof of my own.
sorry for your unfortunate ban that you have received i am only speaking from personal experience.

Iâm said, ALL of my disconnects are shown, in the manner I described, no matter the display message⌠including the one you said doesnât show. I take a picture with a digital clock for date/time reference with my tablet. Looking at it now on my iPad⌠correlates, like all my disconnects, with each different message, with the big DNF on my game history. Weird how you are trying to tell me it shouldnât show⌠hmm⌠So donât try and tell me or anyone else that it doesnât work like that, unless itâs a recent development like I suggested it might be. You attempting to tell others how something works, without knowing how it works yourself should be left to the politiciansâŚ
The other issue is that players shouldnât have to worry about being disconnected for ANY reason. Why anyone wants to play a game where you are always potentially going to get kicked is crazy.
I also am not banned btw, I stop playing before it gets to that point, and have since stopped playing altogether anyway, until this stuff gets fixed.

right so you havent been playing an i said mine are my recent games. as in after the update. soooo maybe you can maybe put two and two together. also other players have said they DC and never get banned for it as well im not the only one. but as far as DC go in general if someone has a crap connection why should the others be punished?
and until i see different from my own experience why would i take the opinion of someone who is salty about the ban system? ive been banned but i know what i did so i dont come here to cry and act innocent. and if you didnt quit games in general the few disconnects you might get or receive wouldnt even trigger a ban. if you quit 5 games then DC one an get a ban you are completely ignorant to think you were banned for DC. no you were banned for quitting you just had unfortunate luck a DC might have counted against you. but i can easily start recording every disconect i receive to cross reference it with my game history as proof what i am experiencing as well as others does not give you a DNF. maybe you are right though maybe they changed something, idk i only started keeping track this weekend when i lost connection 3 times in an hour, which i never do, so i went to check my game history and bam no DNFs and no record of ever being in a game, hell it might be social games you dont get a DNF for, who knows. all i know is if you havent been playing the game for a week you dont need to be disputing what i am saying since you dont have any recent games to go off of.

i still have room to talk honestly, i mentioned recording it to only prove to you since you are the only one that claims to have picture proof. no one else has come on here and said otherwise. in fact they dont respond back after wards. there are just as many ppl that say they have never been banned from a DC just as there are ones that say so.
just cause i was banned i never stated why now did i? for all you know i could have been goofing off in a full fireteam all night. so on that note i would love to believe you only got banned for DCs but if you are getting banned so much you dont want to play halo then i have to assume its something more. which is reasonable honestly. specially since i have two friends who have god awful internet and have not been banned from the games they lag out of consistently, well before the most recent update.
i still yet to see how explaining my personal experience with the DC regardless of video proof shows ignorance. are you just as not ignorant for not understanding my last 50 or so games, then seeing what dates those were on and know they were after the update and they are recent? i never said every DC ever. just the recent ones cause thats when i started actually following them, and if you pay attention i only recently ever started saying that about DCs.
and still no you cant really be disputing what i am saying, since i assumed there were half intelligent ppl in here to know i was talking about recent games (my games have dates next to them as is everyones) i was not aware i needed to lay everything down for you. but thank you for showing me you need to be spoon fed information.
Very few of my disconnects give me the server message. The thing I donât get is how can I play this game since launch without any ban, then I get hammered with two in the last month? It seems like there is just a certain number of dnfâs and once you hit the threshold the bans start. Is there ever a reset or any consideration given to how many games you complete? At this rate we will all be facing 24 hour bans regularly just due to server troubles.

I have been suffering from this exact problem. when i lag out i have to shut down the game to restart it and i got banned for quitting matches.
Banned again. This time it said for being idle. The game started and while I was checking to see if my friends were online so I could invite them to play and then I quickly switched back but was killed once in the meantime. After restarting the xbox i could play. Lame.
