Same thing happened to me. Never been banned before, then today I get banned twice within an hour for getting randomly kicked from infection. Plus lost some good boosts.

You weren’t banned because of the game you were disconnected from with the error, you had a ban because of a prior DNF (or a.k.a. another game you quit). The ban for quit games has a lag time of 1-3 games that you can start and finish before the ban hits you for the game you quit.
I was banned after winning a game of ffa and I had quit the previous game infection (and the first time I actually quit a game recently the other few times were lagg due to crappy internet quality) after getting fed up with the awful and unsportsmanlike qualities of my fellow players after they repeatedly kept camping in one hallway. Please tell me why first of all I was banned and second of why infection is so crappy when it comes to camping?
I feel like I was unjustly banned. Since the most recent “Remembering Reach” update I have been kicked, received connection error messages both in game and in lobby, and also black screened after victory screen. I hardly ever quit out of games and now the system has built a case against me and I have been banned for 24 hours. Can you please review my case and possibly lift this ban. My gamer tag is The Florida Kid (the L in Florida is a capital i) and I was banned tonight 5/14 at 12:20cst. I really try to stick by the rules but I think it’s ridiculous to be banned for something that is out of my control. Thanks!
I feel I was unfairly banned from halo tonight around 1 am 5/14/2016. I am NOT a regular quitter, check my game history. I was rubber band lagging in a game and I felt like writing was justified. Please remove my ban ASAP.
Ever since this new update came out, the servers have been terrible. I have been kicked out of a non-existent fireteam multiple times and have been wrongfully banned as a result.
I have been banned for quitting matches and i haven’t played halo 5 at all today. I was just coming off a 1day ban for the same thing and now im banned for a week. Everytime i play halo 5 i am eventually banned for quitting without having left any games. What is wrong with my Halo 5 arena??
So, I watched a Ready Up Live stream, and he got the, “Disconnected from server”, Screen. Then he was banned or someone else was. That’s happened to me 3 times before, and I got banned for almost an Hour. Why does getting disconnected count as someone leaving a game, especially after the game ends?

I quit 1 game all night, and received a ban for 10 minutes. There is no social playlist for my regular game types, I didn’t even know this banning rubbish was a thing until I checked a pot of boiling water. God forbid we have lives and enjoy halo. And no, warzone for me, is not halo. it is social, but its an experiment if anything.
Either implement a social playlist for people who aren’t esports wannabes or loosen the noose. You shouldn’t be getting it both ways, I didn’t quit a competitive, televised broadcast. I quit a $%&^ game in my living room to check something cooking in the kitchen. Seriously. gaming these days is getting ridiculous.
You need to implement a dislike button for threads like these. There is no like I have for you here.

100% SUPPORT on this. The banhammer is the dumbest thing to hit Halo as your only options are to play or to not play- there is no in between… there is no room for having unforeseen circumstances crop up where you can’t finish a game… Sorry. Halo is not my life. Maybe for some people it is- so give those people a “hardcore” playlist like in COD where there is banning and another playlist for people with lives that might interfere with gaming.

Check your game history. You have 5 DNFs out of your last 9 games.
This ban hammer is a load of poop, im not going to stay in a game when i am constantly ganged up on by 3 people or shot in the back regularly.
Stupid idea banning people for only unfair games, i used to love halo but i am not impressed… the game sucks.
Im going to stick to COD atleast people can join mid game so you’re not over whelmed and surrounded. Atleast on COD you have a fighting chance against 3 people. well for one idk why you truly were banned. only 2 dnfs for the month of may and like 150 games. but to your logic that makes no sense to quit a game you were not doing well in, i found plenty of other games you were not doing well in yet you decided to stay in those.
just to rewind and be clear, you ban was prob less then 10 mins from what i saw and idk why you got banned for 1 dnf in 100 games. i get that but dont use the getting destroyed excuse as the reason you quit that one game, it wasnt the only game that happened in for you and you stuck those others out
Just want to remind that DNF’s aren’t the only cause of bans. Team killing and idling will also add to the case built up against your gamertag
I was banned from arena for 13 minutes after playing infection. I was “being idle” even though I was actually play and running around the map. What should I do incase this happens in the future?

How can i be banned for a week for quitting when i haven’t even played yet?!!! I have been playing halo every night this week without quitting once and eventually i get banned for “quitting”. I want it removed why should i be punished for a bug with the 343 servers!
