Those Super Fiesta’s were service losses. I couldn’t for the life of me finish those. This week alone I have quit two games. Last week I didn’t “quit” any but kept getting kicked. Before that, I hadn’t played Halo 5 since about January because I got bored of it. Believe me when I say “I don’t quit” unless the idiots on my team can’t play worth -Yoink-. The few times I played Halo 3, I never got banned or had this issue. Neither the two times I played Halo 4 did I have this issue. I only keep running into it on here and I am getting sick to -Yoinking!- death of it.
On top of that, read all my January games. There is like 1 DNF for every 12 Victories or Defeats.

I’m aware of the games I quit, I had no intention of quitting infection and all of a sudden I was returned to the lobby because my “Fireteam changed” when it didn’t, THAT is a problem in the game that still hasn’t been addressed for a long time, this happened to me over a month ago as well.

Hey buddy, you might as well just ignore this “kihn x ju” guy. He has no life other than to read people’s posts on this forum and play video games all day… You have the right to post your grievances without people like him harassing you. No matter what he or anyone else says, the “banhammer” is stupid because what’s smart about taking away people’s right to choose after they pay 60$ for a game that punishes ALL “quitters” and “poor servers” and “accidental suicides” and “hardcore betrayers” and “accidental betrayals because teammates are stupid” and “afk rank cheaters” and “afk because my newborn is screaming” people.

I need help ASAP. I just got done with a big team CTF game, and after the “Defeat” screen showed up, it said i had lost connection to the game server. I figured this just meant i lagged out. However, i got back to the menu, and it now says “At Least One player in your fireteam is banned from playing Halo 5: Guardians” I literally did no sort of misconduct or anything, and would like to be unbanned ASAP.
I have proof that all of the games I supposedly “quit” were actually me lagging out. My file share is filled with clips of me lagging out mid game and getting banned. I lagged out of a game today and
i’m banned for a full day. That is the second time. Is there anywhere I can send 343 my clips and have someone revoke my bans? I love this game to bits but not being able to play arena is cruel. My reqs are unavailable most the time.
I recommend to people who share my problem to always record a clip when you lag out. I can live with my ban not being revoked but could I at least have my ban history cleaned or whatever decides the duration of your ban?

How long were you banned? Everytime I lag out of a game it says my fireteam has changed even though I was never in a fire team and the game was running smoothly.

I have only left 2 games total. That is me leaving. I have been lag-kicked from numerous Warzone games, (which is so dumb when I have a boost going on) but I don’t get banned from them, so that is where I got extremely confused. 1-3 games left and you get banned, got it. Even so, it doesn’t explain why I didn’t have a timer on the ban. I got off and got back on abt 20 min later and still showed that I was banned without a timer. The fact that I left, how is that wrong? Yes, I am leaving my team, but how is that actually bad? we were getting our buts handed to us, so there was no chance that we cold even tie, so really no point of even fighting (my opinion maybe 343I sees it differently). Its one thing if it does change a win to a loss or a loss to a win, but if it doesn’t change anything, (and we already had one person leave) then really what is the harm? I know I am rambling on and ranting, but really, I do think it should be changed to a better system.

Telling people they quit is not helping. Arena and Warzone are two different things; you can get banned in Arena, but you won’t get banned in Warzone. This has been confirmed by multiple people I’ve asked to, people with enough experience on this game to know if it’s correct or not. This means that, no, the quits I have in Warzone are in no way linked to my ban. The ban I received at my friend’s house was justified, it was either I get AFK or I leave and, in my opinion, going AFK is much worse than quitting. Also, whether I leave a game or not, it’s my choice. I paid for a license to a game to have fun, not to have some stupid computer tell me when I can or can’t play. I can have a 10 min ban, but it’s just ridiculous to get a 9 hour ban just because I quit a game.

I think it’s likely they’ve changed the system for the banhammer if it separete arena and warzone, as far as I’m concerned players got banned from both before. I haven’t seen anyone up until recently saying they got banned from one but not the other.
The stories circling around here are getting more and more distressful. I’ve looked through a couple of player stating they’ve quit very little, or not disconnected at all. Quite a few turns out to be true. Something at some point has changed with the hammer, perhaps. Thing is that there was a workaroubd before, and that was using an alternative account to play. Seeing as you can share gold it’s no problem making a secpndary accout to play with if your main is banned. Perhaps it was changed to register whatever it register from the xbox instead of the account.
Example, if you have an account quitting a lot and getting banned, it could be affecting all other accounts on the xbox as well, decreasing their threshold for having DNF games.
That’s one possibility.
We don’t even know if the timer reset, or decrease, I haven’t seen anyone say they’ve experienced a time decrease, neither have I seen i343 comment on it.
Next to the apparently trigger happy banhammer, the worst thing is the lack of communication on the banhammer from i343. What about the issues that have been talked about here?
Spawning outside the map and suicide to the point of getting banned. This apparently happened at the introduction of grifball. People having had this issue should get something in return along with a banhammer reset.
Now we have solo players experiencing fire team changes and being booted. Something I never experienced while I still played, it cropped up after. Has that been adressed at all?
Now I do support the use of the banhammer, however I’d lile to see a change in what it does. Rather than prevent players from playing they should match up. The big “however” I have with the hammer though is that it seems to become more and more paranoid.
