I lost connection at the ending win screen for Swat then got banned for 2 hours 11 minutes.

see the only reason i dont believe the server thing 100% is because i have a buddy who lagged out of 5 out of 8 games last night and still didnt get banned. in fact i cant remember him ever getting banned and he does this prob once a month gets lag outs like crazy just randomly

Normally I’d agree, but in a game of Griffball it’s bound to happen. It wasn’t in any way intentional.
Regardless of how short or long the time is. It’s still frustrating, and the idea of it becoming longer is worrying.

This is why Betrayal booting in Grifball needs to go. No matter how far away you are from another teammate, they deliberately jump in front of your hammer or sword just to grief you with the boot system and ruin your matchmaking reputation. This is starting to become very evident with these trolls and 343 really needs to fix this. I gave up at Grifball last week because I’m truly afraid to swing my sword or hammer out if fear of these trigger happy trolls.

I play a at least 2-3 games of Grifball every day, and I’ve never encountered that sort of griefing. Not saying it doesn’t exist, but I don’t think it is widespread and prevalent enough to warrant removing the banhammer from Grifball entirely. Like every playlist, Grifball needs some degree of control to prevent aberrant betraying, idling, etc.

Agreed. I think you are mistaking them lunging at an enemy first then you just are swinging your weapon and killing them. This would give the appearance of them just jumping in front of you

I have four matches saved where they thrusted in front of me (not spartan charged) and got killed. All different players and there was absolutely no hesitation to boot me whatsoever. All were when I was intercepting bomb carriers. There are serious trolls in the Grifball Playlist no matter how you look at it.

Incorrect.
It is like the previous games. It can happen the first betrayal. It can happen the third betrayal.
It has some sort of algorithm that we don’t know and it appears random on our side.
I’ve been betrayed once by a guy half way through a match today and I had the option to boot him.
Lol,8 quits in 40 games is going to get me banned for 24 hrs? Wow,I’m sure 7 out of those 8 matches I quit were probably because like always half my team quits leaving me with one teamate,and what am I supposed to do let 4-8 enemies just keep killing me and my one teammate over and over because your servers suck to bad to put more people in the game after its started? I got banned for idling when I had to exit my room for like 30-50 seconds about 3 times because of some celebration I wasn’t told about, how fair, guess I wont play for almost 6 hours, wish the thing which took away my attention was still going on, during one of the 3 times I was only washing my hands.
Didn’t think like 30 seconds was that important to a 30 minute game I was in already for like 18 minutes, I think it should be like most games and have it around 5 min.
I was banned because one member of my tema abandoned the game and the game kick me, then i was banned for 3 hours
