You are banned from Halo 5 for joining matches and idling, not just the mode that you were caught idling in. This is to prevent people from moving to the other mode and idling there as well.

Looks like a deranking player is associated with your account. Thatās usually a 14-day ban the first time, and then a 28-day ban the next, then 56, etc.
Itās probably also safest to not play on a deranked account once you are unbanned.

For idling in some gamesā¦ 16 Days is an unfair punishment made by the systemā¦I usually get banned at most 1 or 2 days but 16 days is absurdā¦If you can fix this I would be very grateful, at least lessen my sentence to 5 or 7 days maxā¦ Its like I stole a piece of bubblegum and got sentenced for life in jail. I recommend you stop AFKing completely, as your next ban will most likely be even longer. Donāt try to circumvent the system; it will catch you.

How many games of idling will the system ban me again after waiting out my sentenceā¦do they count it over time then boomā¦ ban or is it when I idle repeatedly for multiple firefight matchesā¦ Cause I know that after being banned for 1 hour for leaving i think 2 games in a row will cause the game to ban you again if you leave another match after coming back from your sentence and that will increase the time to a day. However if you wait out and not play or leave for like a couple days, the ban time will reset to 1 hour. Will this be the same for the idle ban.? Because donāt want to be banned for years if I idle a single match (just saying)

this is an absolute wrong method IMO* and i would like to discuss it in an appropriate forum if possible,
warzone FF and arena/warzone are 2 different things talking about idling in it.

I have a bad controller that disconnects and then the game thought I was inactive and kicked me well a day or two goes by and it happen again and now Iām banned from playing I would buy a new controller but I have to many bills to afford it all I wanna do is play but I canāt now

You have to be idle for 3 minutes to get kickedā¦thatās a long time your team is down a player.
Have you tried connecting your controller via usb cable?

It wouldnāt give a 6 day ban for idling 1 time, youāve got 20+ DNFs out of 90 games. I occasionally idle out accidentally and it gives a few minute ban.
