I had this happen to me in H5 roughly 6 months ago. My account canât play it on any network, nor on PC. And after going though countless troubleshooting and being on the phone with Microsoft, I can pretty much tell you that youâre screwed. No help, no nothing, just a bunch of shrugs and âthatâs weird.â Good luck, say goodbye to that specific Halo.,

Wow man, that sounds like a nightmare!!! Have you tried resetting your Xbox, deleting/ redownloading H5, or deleting/ recovering your account, I would say in that order? If youâve done that, to no prevail. Have you been in contact with anyone from 343i, or anything? Maybe they could help you out with the troubleshooting. I can only speak from my experience, and Iâve had that happen before. Luckily it only took a hard reset of the Xbox, to synch everything up for me, and get me playing again. You donât get banned for a single offence, so if you got banned then that means you have other things that have contributed to the ban - additional quits, etc. These bans donât get overturned, per the information in the first post

I checked with the Enforcement team and they found evidence of you using Firefight to AFK boost in an attempt to boost to 152 without playing.

Why my rank arena got ban if l just afk in warzone firefight?
Me and my friends can only match warzone firefight in east Asia,we canât find any normal warzone or even rank arena sometimes,we are wondering if 343 block the ping or not.
If you had played firefight for over hour and hour, you would know how the feel we did,we are looking forward to play warzone very much because itâs the only way to grind 152 quickly,but firefight is the only type we could get,and itâs frustrating.

To be honest, it was way more than one game. I took a quick look at your FF game history and found a couple pages of idling games.

It takes 3 min (180 sec) to get booted for inactivity. Alot can happen in 3 min in a Halo match.
Generally, idling is considered worse than quitting. It could be that your one boot triggered a ban since it was from idling. It could also be that you got booted from a ranked match (ranked matches are more strict than social matches).
The first page of this thread doesnât say you wonât get banned on your first offense. It just says that an accidental disconnect usually wonât trigger a ban on its own. But in your case, it wasnât an accidental disconnect, it was 3 minutes of inactivity, so that couldnât be considered an accident.

Yep, and keep in kind youâre making things worse for everyone else in that particular match while you do that.
We know that can happen randomly sometimes if itâs rare, so itâs not a long ban.
Iâm using my younger brothers account to help him get un banned. He has been playing warzone by himself and my parents DO NOT understand that he cant pause his game or the fact that he can get banned from warzone for idling. They also continue to say âhow can he not play the game I payed forâ they are those kind of parents even though Iâve explained it numerous times. My brothers only 9 and loves this game. Thanks for you understanding and please be patient with him. I cant stand the complaining from my parents.

Youâre fine, but know that the automated banhammer is not capable of distinguishing who is playing and why he idled. It simply logs the game as a DNF.
