Well, my Ban was for 24 hours due to previous bans over a recent increase in quitting games for me…I followed the ban protocol, and I am pretty sure that the ban should have been lifted by now…I will give it some more time, but still…when you look at my record, a 24 hour ban for me is a bit much.
I remember 10 or so minor cases of quitting, I normally never go AFK or teamkill unless someone starts to do so first or a misplaced grenade. I normally have been pretty calm about this, but the fact that you guys had to more it to support so there isn’t some glaring 27 page report of banhammer problems revealing that there is some sort of problem in the banhammer setting…I’d expect maybe 10 from a working banhammer at this rate.

Yeah the Banhammer is completely -Yoinking!- broken. Make it like reach where youg et banned for quitting more than 5 matches and give it a 2 day cooldown where you cant quit any.
I have a ban against me set at 6 hours, and the cause for the ban is my connection lagging out for reasons I’m not sure. The ban isn’t for my behaviour but rather my xboxs? How can I get this ban lifted?
I am sorry but it seems i am not up to speed with you rules and regulations. I am aware that constant quieting results in a ban, but to quit twice in a 16 hour period does not seem overly ban worthy. Fact of the matter is is the ban hammer is truly a good system with great potential like Halo Reach’s Ban Hammer system, but i think if one is banned for quieting twice in a 16 hr. period, you might be pulling the leash a little to hard
Hi. I’m new to the fps gaming scene again. Just purchased my xbox one and guardians. I went to play online today and apparently I have a one week ban from the online arena? It says I was idling in a game, and i understand that I made this infraction now. I am new to this and am catching on progressively. I don’t feel it is neccessary to punish a person that has just invested in a new gaming system the right to learn how to play their games. I apologize for my infraction, but I believe this week long ban is too severe. I now realize what I have to do to prevent idling from occuring. I am 27 and am not playing to sabotage the online experience. If you could please remove this ban it would be greatly appreciated.
I recently bought the game around a week ago. Since then, i’ve played a considerable amount of games each day while still only leaving a total of about 4 matches due to unbearable connection, and just downright losing connection entirely after a match ending. Ive been banned for all 4 games, each ban increasing in ban duration (currently banned for two hours). Can you believe that I had owned the game for no more than 5 hours, left one game and was banned already after ONE game? That is absolutely ridiculous, and i find it hard to believe that the automated banning detects “patterns” when there were none to begin with in my case.
I am super tired of the game disconnecting for no reason and then getting banned the 15 minutes ban is not harsh… but a 24 hour ban is crazy. We are customers of a service and this is terrible. I keep getting the banhammer
WTF 343?
I quit 1 game and I get banned, but only after playing and completing a full game. Since the game shipped Ive quit twice. Fix IT. Bungie didnt have these isues.

You haven’t answered me. If 343 goes back to forge or whatever Dev box they use and checks where they have accidentally left some hidden spawns in their maps that are stupidly close to the opposing team, maybe people wouldn’t be forced to quit and then come back here complaining.
At its current form the banhammer is also punishing the team with no quitters. I am tired of playing 4v1 games where the last remaining enemy team member is hiding just because he does not want to quit being afraid of getting banned.
The banhammer needs to be losened up, or maybe after the first person in a game has quit the last 3 teammates should not receive any penalty for quitting.
I just got banned for 2 days… 2 DAYS because i lost connection at the end of the match… please 343 fix whatever is making this happen you should not get banned for this now i cant play Arena for 2 days. Is there any chance of it being reversed?? This is stupid.
every time I finish a Swat match i press B after it tells me how many REQ points i got from that match and then go to the main menu and it says im banned for quitting.
and its making me mad because Warzone can get boring after playing it for a while.

You -Yoinking!- -Yoink- Yoinking! on your fans who want to play the game but if they have bad connections or reality to attend to you ban them.
At first didnt do -Yoink-. But ive been playing for awhile now and why the -Yoink- should i be forced to sit through every game?

Can someone please -Yoinking!- explain to me why I just got banned FROM ARENA FOR IDLING (was away from my controller for maybe 30 seconds to use the bathroom) IN WARZONE. What the -Yoink- is going on?
