Yes I would like further detail. I have played halo since 1, and I have never done anything. Or been knowingly aware of a teammate of mine doing something to warrAnt a ban. I have played halo exclusively on my gamer tag except a few games of forza. I don’t know the guy and I have never been apart of someone de ranking . This should be fixed.

Nobody is ever banned for being unskilled. Anyone who thinks so is either misinformed, or they’re spinning a yarn to try and get sympathy and play the victim (sorta like how you did, so you should know not to believe everyone who claims they were wrongfully banned). As for your paranoia, you only have yourself to blame, since your misbehavior is what landed you in hot water. But that aside, there’s no reason to be paranoid; so long as you play normally, finish your games, and don’t idle or grief other players, you won’t be banned. It’s very easy to not get banned since all you have to do is play normal.

As I stated before, your welcome to IM me, then FaceTime me, and watch the 4 year old play, I suppose in a custom game as to not offend anyone again. No he’s not good at getting kills, but it’s pretty crazy what all he can do (change guns, find req stations, drive bottom tiered vehicles proficiently). I’ll put the phone directly behind him, and you can watch his every tiny finger move, on his hands. You can even not say a word, and have your camera blacked over. As been stated, I know now that a 4 yo needs his own account. If you are down for that, I work 8am-8pm today, Saturday, and Sunday, so it’d have to be around 830pm. Now there has been some games he’s been done playing, and I may have idled, because I have other things im doing idk. Same for when I’ve been playing, sometimes I have things that come up. I have never asked for my ban to be lifted, so I don’t know why you think I feel the need to pin something on him. I take full responsibility, never said I didn’t, I wanted to know what’s up, what got me banned, what will get one banned, whether knowing, or completely oblivious to the facts that will get you banned, etc. You think I’m acting ignorant for asking questions, that anyone who gets banned, and goes back to read the forums, would be wondering. That could hurt my feelings, and not be constructive toward my life. At that point, does it only matter to not offend a player that isn’t a ban felon, or does all forum users feeling matter equally? You partied with a player who had intentionally created a new account and thrown their initial matches, resulting in you getting an easier match with them.
You say you “don’t know the guy” but you have partied with him 36 times total across 6 different alts in the last 2 weeks, so it is unlikely that you “don’t know the guy,” and unlikely you don’t realize something shady is going on when he uses 6 alts within a 14 day period and you play 36 matches with them. Not to mention they often use a similar gamertag to your own.
The other players in your party also have alts with similar gamertags to your own.
So Enforcement doesn’t see anything that needs fixing here.

I like how I was directed to this thread discussing the ban system but what’s the point? 343 clearly thinks their system is amazing and the best ever and having criticism to the game is considered non-constructive posts. Basically if we aren’t praising the game at all times then it is considered trolling. Like saying that being banned for quitting out of friggin INFECTED of all modes, especially since the mode is trash (how do you even ruin Infected this bad?) is stupid. I’m not allowed to say that around here. Took a 2 year break from the game and I think it is time to get rid of it entirely. It isn’t worth my time.

Is it your position that all bans of any type are always correct?
How far back can you go to investigate a ban? I posted in here years ago about a player that was disconnected either right before or right after a match ended. The player was then banned for a short time. I went back 99 games, the player had no DNFs, doesn’t idle, quit or have a betrayal/suicide issue.
I’m willing to provide details, if you’re willing to explain why she was banned. She is available to post the request if that’s what it takes, I just need to know you will investigate

Ok you say I partnered with him on 6 different accounts is untrue. Whether he has that many account or not I’m not sure .
So just bc I partied with him on one another account that has 0 problems bc I played 1 or 2 matches with him on a new account I’m banned??? I’m confused abt how I’m responsible for his “first games”, he didn’t blow the game I was playing with him. I scored dead last at 8-8. Lol

That comment right there shows you guys level of commitment to customers. No system is perfect . You’re immaturity to the situation is more of a problem.
My situation doesn’t deserve a “ban” . Now I can understand why the “system” picked it up , but a human eye and basic logic would rule this “ban” unnecessary .

Yes, we’ve already gone over this. Guilty by association is still guilty. If you’re in the car with the guy with the drugs, you go to jail regardless of if you even knew there were drugs.
Same thing here. You got a game that was much easier than it was supposed to be, regardless of whether or not you knew your friend had deranked, so you are guilty whether or not you even knew.
Enforcement isn’t going to go through and interview each of you personally to try and measure your intent, and neither would the police nor the judge. The majority of players involved in your situation are knowingly doing it, so they get banned, and so will you. Don’t play with friends who do this.
And as your your comment, you have definitely played with the same player 36 times on 6 gamertags, I can see it myself clearly in the logs.
I was trying to que for husky raid but kept getting a connection lost and was then banned is there any way to fix this or should I stop playing that playlist for now?

Out of the 36 times I played with him on his main account and the one or 2 times I played with him on the “other” account, how many times did he try to manipulate the system??? 0 times.
I understand that if you list all 6 of his accounts it might say I played with him a total of 36 times , but I’ve played with him on on other one , maybe 2.
As mentioned I don’t ply with people that do bad things so I would never play with a remark like that. If he tried to throw other matches I don’t know what to tell you.

The match was already linked above, did you miss it?
You generally don’t get banned for the matches you throw because you could just be bad.
But if he throws a bunch of matches, plays like a Bronze, and then suddenly plays like Plat/Diamond, he gets banned, and so does everyone else in your party. This only has to happen once for you to get banned.

Basically if we aren’t praising the game at all times then it is considered trolling. Like saying that being banned for quitting out of friggin INFECTED of all modes, especially since the mode is trash (how do you even ruin Infected this bad?) is stupid. I’m not allowed to say that around here. Took a 2 year break from the game and I think it is time to get rid of it entirely. It isn’t worth my time.

My whole family plays this game online under my account including my two sons. We have only been playing for the last week but all of a sudden we get this notice that “one or more of your fireteam has been banned from halo 5: guardians”. There was no time frame given and no message sent. We had several power outages this last week happen while in game and only on one occasion that im aware of did anybody leave in game.
Is there anyway we could overturn this? Ive made my family aware of what is not allowed now and i dont see there being another issue as long as power outages dont count seeing as we get alot of them where we are living.

The “ban” appears to be gone. All i did was clean the disk and the playlists came up normal. Halo the Master Chief collection was not working either but did after cleaning the disk. Please disregard this post. My brother was playing Halo on Xbox live and he got a message saying he was banned. Now when we try to play Halo 5 all of the playlists have a red exclamation mark next to them and a message that says, “At least one player in your fireteam is not permitted to play Xbox Live multiplayer games.” He never uses a microphone so has not communicated anything obscene or rude. He does not cheat and does not modify the games or consoles in anyway. All he was doing was playing a multiplayer match making game on Xbox live. His gamertag is Stealth 310. Can you please remove the ban and maybe explain why he received an in-game ban. I contacted Microsoft Xbox Live support and the reference to that support is SR 1479180711. They said I should post here to communicate with Halo’s moderators who can deal with in-game bans. There is no account ban on Stealth 310. Thank you. The “ban” appears to be gone. So I was just kicked from a snipers game in the ranked playlist for falling off of the map “The Rig” too many times. It was immediately then proceeded with a ban.
Look, I suck at Halo, but I like playing. With that said, on maps like “The Rig,” I tend to fall off from time to time, because I can’t make my character move in the ways that I want it to, or I panic and make bad decisions. I, in no way, ever intentionally tried to hurt my team, and I definitely was NOT committing suicide. This ban is not fair, and I’m.not happy about it.
