After doing this 2-3 times I couldn’t even enter into a search for a game, it would not allow me to even select a Playlist. OK… so I figured leave it for a few mins maybe the connection will clear up. So I go to the bathroom to take a poop… come back some minutes later and I am banned for 2 hours for “idling”… wtf really!?
You were idling. That isn’t in question.

> I got banned again today because after 10+ games that were all horribly matched… I mean the worst matches possible (which is weird because apparently they fixed the mm) I got tired of paying for a service and game that wasn’t even close to being enjoyable to play so I started quitting a few games so that in the time I had to play… maybe I could find a game that was closer to being balanced and that I could be a on a team that had a chance to win.(I don’t need to win, I just want a chance to) Nope… banhammer. So what, I’m just supposed to play bad games forever ? Sure, banhammer me. I can banhammer back with my wallet, and since 343i is Microsoft my Banhammer won’t just be isolated to 343i games. Oh, and my Live account expires in June, will I renew? What’s motivating me to?
> Also interesting note to make. I wasn’t the first player to quit in the instances when I did. A large portion of the teams I was playing with quit prior to me, so I followed… yet I got banned. I wonder how many other players suffered the same consequence, especially because I was under the impression that the ban penalty only affected the first player that quit.
That was for ranked arena if I’m not mistaken. I assume your issues are with warzone since you haven’t played arena in nine days. You have DNFs for 16 of your last 30 wz matches. Several of which the team you were on won.

I think you are missing the point. I don’t dispute the fact that I was idling. How does the game menu go from not even allowing me to select a Playlist due to connection issues to somehow loading me into a game which I’m not even present for?

That isn’t related to your ban. Your ban was for idling; which you clearly did. You obviously had to select a playlist, enter matchmaking, and then idle during the match.
Whatever your playlist issue is it would seem to be a separate support issue to your ban. I’d recommend a hard reset though as that clears up a lot of the minor quibbles.
Let me just say sometimes it really is dumb and I really did do nothing wrong other than play on a map where it was bound to happen. I was playing a game with a bunch of gaps and fell in twice trying to get away and a teamate hit me in air and threw me off on the third and I got banned.
I was banned a few weeks ago. I have new clue why… Just checking if there is any information about it available. I know it said not to contact customer service because they could not do anything about it. I thought that was kind of unfair. Especially if I’m paying for a service.
I know it’s not much money but it still seemed like the wrong message to be sending paying customers.

Oh wow, thanks for the reminder. I’m new. Thanks again

You’d prefer I edit it for spam?

I was telling you not to do that in the future without having to go through more official means. And yes, it allows other people to see it and realize that post bumping is against the rules. (Although to be honest they should have reviewed them already.)

With it being ‘a few weeks ago’ it’s a bit difficult to go through your history and make a determination about why you were banned. If you’d posted sooner or provided more information it would be a bit easier. The most common reasons are excessive DNFS, Idling, and Griefing (through betrayals or suicides.) I’m sure you’re aware of which of these you’ve engaged in and if you’ve done some of the rarer things like network manipulation, etc you’d be aware of that as well.

Yeah, that sounds about right. Everyone should be aware that Match Making Quality Enforcement is SERIOUS. Being banned for 2 weeks is a real reminder to think twice before making your team lose a game!

Yes, surprisingly ruining the experience of everyone else in the match is frowned upon.

Let my little nephew play
3 hrs later I’m banned for a dnf and I guess to many suicides.
Is there a way to be removed from ban or did I just get screwed over by my sister’s b-b-b- astard of a child got me a 20:47 ban
Kid is getting sold to the first circus

Unfortunatly,no.The ban systen is automated and cant remove bans.
I was kicked out of a game of super fiesta and banned for 9:36 for “repeated suicides and grieving my teammates”.
If anyone reviewed my gameplay history, not just today or in this particular match but all of it, they would see clearly that I wasn’t doing that at all. I just spawned with rockets a couple of times and ran into opposing players. Whatever method their using to determine this is clearly broken and inaccurate.

Enough suicides in a short period of time is considered a form of griefing. The account you’re using to post hasn’t played arena since 2016.
Yes if the suicides were intentional, but mine clearly were not. So what your saying is intentional or not it does not matter? Thats just gardening tool it is??
As for the gamertag, i was using Bladerunner1177, thats what i play matchmaking on, nit my main acount Sam1177.
Meant to say “that’s just how it is”

You want the game to read your mind and determine your intentions? It sadly isn’t that advance yet. The system has to determine things based on your behavior, not your intentions. Yes, a few innocents will get a short cool down as an unfortunate side effect. Personally I still find the new system preferable to the deranking days where people would commit suicide over and over.
BTW; you can edit your posts. There isn’t any need to post more than once in a row.
