i’ve got banned temporary from matchmaking without having offended or insulted anybody. How the hell is that possible ??

You have several DNFs through your last few games and that can result in a ban.

I don’t know what the DNFS is. Whatever is the reasonf why i got banned, in my opinion it’s not right. Because i have been honest player all the time.
Anyway, i will play another game until the ban goes off. Is there a way to reset my stats and stuff on Halo 5 ?
I don’t know why when i search a game on halo 5 i find it very fast. but in Black ops 3 i never find one ?? Activision says that i need at least 5mb download and 5 mb upload to find a game. is it the same thing for halo 5 ?? i have 7mb download and 0,75 mb upload.

DNFs are not finished games.
No,you cant reset your Halo5 stats unless you delete your whole profile.
I have no idea how Black Ops 3 matchmaking works,so I cant answer this question.

I have kids, and get that you sometimes have to deal with them. I have gotten phone calls and had to deal with that. Sometimes I even have to leave a game, as much as I hate to. But, leaving the game or being idle is an exception not a rule for me. Guess what? I’ve never been banned. However, I have played with far to many players that are like you, and it is horrible. Not because it’s the Championship, but because no one likes to lose.

Is that why the game had a limmited 1 time free with gold deal,

Bans are not necessary in any social play lists & voting a player off would or should likely never happen in some Ranked Match Makeing for being idle Away From Controller…
Getting killed while idle should ruin their rank & team players should decide if they need to quit, more likely your team should just point you out to improve their Own K/D while your in a likely bait spot if your going to be idle but if your camping, idk if you should be ban for wanting on a power weapon, thats what reg packs are for but ban for stealing?
it be weird to ban someone on the opposing team right? but if a teammate steals from reg weapons & vehicals you earned or paided for & planed on useing, shouldn’t be allowed.

but if the opposing team steals from a reg pack that you paid for with money, than what!? just disable pick up of eneime weapons on paying to win customers but should they be able to steal your ammo to if they have the same weapon/reg type!? that is so complicating!! ><

I just want to return flight 1.0
There is a definite problem. My teammate can hit me and lower my shields the entire match and I get fed up and kill him while playing my best match in a while 3 kills from the win and I get banned because I killed him after the entire match he is weakening all the members of the team for no reason. I can’t play now. This is rubbish. First no split screen multiplayer online and no two weapons in swat and no banning for betraying a guy who was shooting our entire team. Y’all gotta fix this.

Not really much you can do about this besides report that player if they are intentionally team shooting. They’re not actually killing you so there’re no real betrayal there. You are the one the system sees as team killing though. It’s tough but just don’t lower yourself to the level of these types of players, as you can see you’re the one who pays the price which is exactly what they want.

You don’t get banned for quitting one match, it takes multiple quits to receive a ban. In the last 7 days you have at least 6 matches showing as DNF

k, thats what i thought. I just realized that my brother was playing and messing around on my Xbox playing halo 5. i thougth it was werired i got kicked out once, but it was my brother.
I have a question in regard to disconnects. There have been a couple times recently where I have been disconnected due to a server issues (I assume) on multiple consecutive games. I never ended up getting banned as a result, but does the ban-hammer have a way of telling whether or not I quit or got disconnecting before determining whether a ban is necessary?

It can determine if you quit or disconnected. It can’t tell if you disconnected intentionally or not, so it treats every disconnect as if it were intentional. It takes a significant percentage or distinct pattern before banning though. The occasional disconnect or quit isn’t going to get you banned.

Thank you for the quick response! That’s good info. I am not too concerned about it as I almost never quit matches intentionally (I have gotten pretty salty a few times a quit out… I’m not happy to admit it… lol), but it’s good to know.
