I would guess that it is due to you not finishing some of your ranked FFA games. Your most recent FFA game shows you as the only one who didnāt finish and no kills in that game, which sort of looks like you quit because you werenāt doing to well.
Quitting, especially in ranked play, is never good; you should always finish your games.

I think thatās -Yoink-. Nobody wants to do that, just sit there and get pummeled because your team quits on you. Of course Iām going to quit if itās 4/3/2 on 1. There needs to be another option, i.e. āyour teammate has quit the match, you can choose to leave now without being penalized, otherwise continue and be penalized if you quit at a later timeā. Iām not perfect, and Iāll be the first to admit that yes I rage-quit too, but if there is a legitimate reason then there needs to be another option.

Many have proposed a āforfeitā option - which needs to be implemented by 343 ASAP, to cut short blowout games.
Also, it would help if they didnāt reset the ranks so oftenā¦ from your game history it looks like a lot of the quitters were brand new unranked players. You should be playing with/against players who already have a rank, not so many unranked players.
But neither of those ideas is really on-topic in this thread, so Iāll leave it there.
On the other hand, you clearly had a few games where you rage quit. if you hadnāt rage quit the 2v2 games, you could still quit out of the 1v2 games without getting banned. Moral of the story? Donāt rage quit. Only quit games where you actually are stuck in a 1v3 or something.

You havenāt finished 16 out of 51 matches. Thatās just under a third of your matches. You canāt expect that kind of behavior not to be met with a response by the automated ban system. If you regularly finish your matches the occasional match where you have to quit (or simply choose to) will not be met with a ban.

Right, and can you see out of those 16, how many times my partner/team quit, and I was just left outnumbered to play?? Thatās my POINT.

I just counted. Of those 16 DNFs, looks like you were the first one to disconnect or rage quit 8 times. Thatās half your DNFs. If you had stuck it out in those games, you wouldnāt have as many DNFs on your record, and wouldnāt be getting such harsh bans.
That aside, it does look like thereās an epidemic of quitters/leavers in those games youāve been playing, either on your team or on the enemy team. Perhaps thatās somewhat common in the bronze/silver/gold ranksā¦? The only possible solution for a ranked playlist is to punish leavers even more severely, to discourage that behaviorā¦
Also, it might make sense to give harsher quit bans for players not yet ranked in a playlist, to penalize people who just jump into a ranked game, then say āf thisā and bounce.

So if the ban reads 24:16 itās 24 minutes 16 seconds? Forgot to back out after a game. Itās so easy to do this especially when Iām not playing a ranked game. Iāll just finish the game, set down my controller and go out for a smoke forgetting to press b. I thinks itās kinda harsh to punish people for stuff like that especially in social playlists. But I appreciate the dedication to fairness in matchmaking. Sucks when people quit out but I donāt think it matters all that much in social. Might be something to look into. I really do wish that there was a social slayer option like halo 3 5v5 unranked slayer. I love slayer but I just cant get into the whole āplay really hard to get to diamondā mindset Half the time I feel as though I am pared against players of far superior skill, Iām not looking to go 23-3 in a round but I do want to at least be positive and for the past month I have not had games where I felt I was pared against players of equal skill. I recently returned to Halo and my have played about 3 or 4 months now but yeah this last month has been meh as far as ranked goes.

The ban system has on round delay,so you got for the two DNFs and not the finshed game.
I havenāt play Halo in weeks and I just conected to the game it doesnāt let me play I suspect I might be banned or something. If Iām banned how do I know for how long.

Aw man, I was banned for 6 hours for idling out of too many games. I didnāt know Halo had gotten so lame. I actually have a life. Iām not 12. I have things that require my immediate attention. I used to play a lot of Halo. But I stopped when 5 came out and didnāt have split screen online multiplayer. I donāt understand why itās not like all the Halos before. What is the point of having a social and a ranked if thereās going to be strict super serious neckbeard rules for BOTH? And most importantly, I donāt care to hear from any of your serious players who think I donāt deserve to play a game if I idle out occasionally, betray sometimes, etc. So, now that Halo completely sucks, does anyone know of any similar games but where bans arenāt handed out like weāre MLG or some insanity. I feel a bit like all the little kids I trolled hard in CE 2 3 Reach and 4, finally grew up and now they have chronic butthurtz and influenced Halo to have strict rules to protect all the 6 year olds from needing therapy from getting naded by their own team.
