You have a tendency to not finish your Doubles matches too often. Especially in ranked playlists, you’ve got to finish your games.

I can view the carnage report from the previous match, and spartan hub, but I cannot quit activity nor do anything else. I have a feeling that I will get a temporary ban because of this. I have even recorded the last part of the match. It only happens on the social play lists. I haven’t been dropped or anything from any ranked matches, yet.
If you haven’t been banned yet, I would say that you should post about your issue here. If you’re having weird connection issues, it may be a good idea to troubleshoot your connection.

I wouldn’t have an issue if it was just connection issues. I’ll check out that section you pointed out.

The new gameplay is terrible and completely inconsistent with last games. It took a dump all over fans and why they even came to Halo in the first place. I’ll be happy to see y’all losing profits and members. You can’t even accept responsibility for your terrible servers, gameplay, and now you’re banning people for the most ridiculous reasons without contemplating a way to moderate the issue better or resolve it. Your company sucks.
The fact that you guys are not allowing free expression is disgusting to me. None of this post is vulgar, or utilizes curse words. You forum Nazis should be ashamed.

Looks like I need to moderate the Monitors.
it is your responsibility to be assisting the players who come here, frustrated with any faulty mechanic in the described topic of discussion. (Faulty services resulting in bans, or software insyncrony of the system).
if a player has an issue with the game, and makes an opinionated post that seems like a rant, you are supposed to propose solutions and inquire as to what compelled them to speak in such a manner. Ask them if an explanation of a problem would make them reword or delete their post. Don’t censor the post, unless it violates age specific audience regulations, or is directly threatening in nature.
Basing your conclusions solely on player service record is extraordinarily lazy, unsportsmanlike, undiplomatic, and illogical. There are multiple factors in play. A service record says nothing about the state of the condition of the game at the alleged disconnect.
Being a moderator is NOT a mark of status. Don’t you dare confuse it. If you make constant posts, or moderate because it feels like a position of superiority, you are in the wrong business.
No, a Monitors role here on the forums are to help keep things clean and make sure that everyone follows the rules. We can and do provide support on various issues relating to the forums, games and apps, but that is not our primary focus here, neither is it our responsibility. The rules are clear and pinned at the top of each forum, it’s a users responsibility to read and understand them. If they break the rules their posts will get moderated accordingly.
<mark>That being said, back on topic please. If you have any concerns about forum moderation, PM a member of the team.</mark>

You’ve got 5 DNFs out of your last 20 games. And all of those DNFs occurred in ranked playlists. When you don’t finish games, especially ranked games, the game bans you temporarily as punishment. If you continue to not finish games, the bans get longer.
The behaviors that can trigger bans are quitting, idling, betraying, excessive suiciding, and excessive disconnecting. The ban timer appears only once when you get the notification of the ban, and is read Days : Hours : Minutes : Seconds. Considering that your account is new to Halo 5, your ban timer was likely for 7 minutes and 45 seconds.

Just so you know, Monitors do not work for 343i. We have no ability to change the ban system.
As for your other point, generally the occasional mistake will be forgiven. If you suicide once or twice in a game, you won’t get kicked. If you betray one person accidentally, you won’t get kicked. If you are getting griefed by another player, the best thing to do is try to avoid that player and then report them via Xbox Live after the game. If you get disconnected, the game essentially counts it as a quit, because otherwise people would just yank their ethernet cords whenever they wanted to leave a game without punishment. If you are experiencing constant lag or disconnects, you may need to troubleshoot your connection (you can report connection trouble to the servers in this thread); constant connection trouble can negatively affect other players, so removing consistent disconnectors temporarily until they can fix their problems is good for the community at large.
The banhammer may be seen as strict by some; however, I’ve only been kicked from games a few times since launch and I’ve never been banned, and I attribute that to me never breaking the rules. 343i may be considering revising the banhammer, but until they announce as such we must all accept how it works and just play carefully.

I always get banned from messaging and even from playing halo 5 for a bit because I know kids report me and messaging for “modding” I’m really good and legit. It’s sickening because I have barely had my Xbox one and account for a month

If you recive an communication ban then waypoint is the wrong place to talk about it,if its a Halo5ban,then its fron your DNFs.

Communication bans would come from Microsoft. You can find out more about that here….
The Halo 5 ban system is unrelated to reports, the most common reasons for bans are afking, failing to finish matches, and griefing. Did you receive a ‘banhammer strikes’ message and what did it say?
i think its a joke I’ve been banned twice in a week because the game skips. I was literally lighting another player up in Super Fiesta with a saw and he wasn’t dying. The next thing I know there are three opponents on me and I’m wasted. The game skipped the whole time. Every time I engaged an opponent the game would skip and jump and I end up wasted. Grenades get thrown and magically disappear. Why should we stick around in the game for that? You all need a ban appeals process so this doesn’t continue. Not our fault you all can’t get the game to work properly half the time.

Again too bad I m done with halo… Developers are lazy with code and the banhammer is un fair. Too bad halo has great mechanics but ive tolerated this crap too long time to move on. Get ir sh.t together 343
Raging can increase the risk of an heartattack,so calm down.
To 343s defense the code for the ban system is still the same as used by Bungie, only upgraded.

I’ve never been banned before in any halo or any other fps (xbox, xbox 360, pc all the way back to counter strike on a 56k modem) Im also talking about the matchmaking I was matched with the same crappy team 5 times in a row I just wanted to play with a new team… Plus sometimes I’ll have to push some buttons more then once before I get a response, like the melee. Never had that problem with other halos. This banhammer policy feels insulting to gamers and the game is developed under par to the other halo games where the controls were tight during online play. And it’s not on my side, 8 -18ms latency and 100mb down. This is poor and lazy design and a bad idea that should have never been implemented.
