Hi, I was banned for an unknown reason. I though that perhaps it was because I lagged out last night but was able to play several games afterward. Today I turned my box on and tried to start matchmaking, but I am banned and there is no timer nor any info as to why.
I appreciate all your hard work and all that you do to ensure the multiplayer experience is excellent. Just would like to know if I did something wrong.

If so what did it say?
What exactly happens when you try to enter a playlist?

No, I did not.
When I select a playlist, the âAttention: at least one player in your fireteam is not permitted to play multiplayer games.â

press down and hold the button on the front of your console till the it shuts down completely. Wait a few minutes than restart it Hopefully thatâll help.
I would like to know why i get banned for 8 damn hours for your game glitching out at the end of a round and then telling me i quit and am now banned. Wtf i just got this trash game and because it glitches i get banned! I definitely did not quit and didnt lag out concidering i have a 60 meg connection.

My gamertag is countrymac69 and it banned after a match i completed it just showed my fireteam and didnt go to the next match then i had to restart my game and it said i was banned. I fireteam member seen i was banned before i even restarted and i didnt see it.

A 8 hour ban for one dnf is insane i havent been on since yesterday.

Hello, I have been playing the last few nights to rank upâŚbut tonight when I started to play, I noticed some lag in the game and then LOST CONNECTION. Wasnât sure if it was me or something, but this was a first. I played a few more games and it kept happening. One game I finished was looking at my stats, and then I got a LOST connection again. That was odd. I love the game too much to quit in game.

With that last one, I got the ban for 20 mins. How was i doing wrongdoing. I was enjoying a game of Halo and then screen stopped and I said oh no not again. Sure enough, LOST CONNECTION. As I mentioned, I love this game too much to get banned for something that is out of my hands.
I disconnected my modem and routerâŚwaited ten minutes and plugged back my modem and routerâŚthinking there might be some issue. But I have had NO issues like this before. What do I do? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thank you for taking time to read my post.

None whatsoever with my cable provider. I have had no issues the last few days playing HALO. Just started tonight. I checked to make sure my NAT is open. I also checked the network connection and multiplayer test from the settings and everything checked out.

I played Paladins in between and just now I played Hawken w/o any issue.

Then you have most likley a occosional connection prioblem that can happen to every game at anytime.

I just dont like the banhammer thinking Iâm doing something bad when Iâm not. 
You know what I mean. Guess itâs time to put away the controller and get some zâs. If this happens again ONLY in halo again tomorrow night, what should/could I do next?

An hardreset is an option you should do anyway,but will most likly nothing happen this night as such problems only happen randomly.

You have 9 dnfâs in your last 30 games, not finishing games will get you banned.

Excessive quting can also cause an ban.
You have 5 DNFs in your last twenty matches.
The duration of the ban comes with an message,after this message is clicked away there is no way to determine your ban lenght.

What happens when you donât get kicked or disconnect, but still get a DNF? I have been returned to the screen that you might get after a match, except there is nothing there. I can view the carnage report from the previous match, and spartan hub, but I cannot quit activity nor do anything else. I have a feeling that I will get a temporary ban because of this. I have even recorded the last part of the match. It only happens on the social play lists. I havenât been dropped or anything from any ranked matches, yet.
