I love how I get a message from someone I’m playing AGAINST that says “reported” and then I get banned for “griefing my TEAM MATES”.
This system is a ridiculous joke.

Just after being booted from that INCREDIBLY STUPID golf game for stepping on mines that I didn’t know existed. Kind of fix tank world and then add that garbage to the rotation… You guys seriously cannot be helped.

Reports go towards your online reputation through xbox live and have nothing to do with Halo 5’s ban system. Your griefing ban likely stems from excessive suicides, though I concur that the suicide booting in action sack seems an oversight.

He was saying he waited longer than the amount of time indicated on his ban timer and his ban was still in effect. He wasn’t trying to say that he waited the exact amount of time that his ban was and just got the time wrong.
I get banned 30 minutes because the dedicated server is -Yoink-. Great job 343, keep it up. Meanwhile, lower the timer for these ridiculous bans, I haven’t paid you guys to keep me from playing.

You have no progress whatsoever on this account, so there is no way to begin to tell what contributed to your ban. However, you do seem to be using an alternate account to post on Waypoint, which unfortunately is against the rules.

I did not make anything wrong, but I received a block message that annoyed the team member. I didn’t escape on the game, and I didn’t abuse. Please confirm

I’m going to go out on a limb here and assume you were banned due to DNFs. You have 2 out of your last 10 matches as DNFs. The ban system runs on a one match delay, so you would fail to finish a match, complete another, and the receive the banhammer strikes message.
So apparently suiciding 3 times in a game of Battle Golf is just cause for banning me for 7+ hours. I had never played that mode before and thought it looked fun. Little did I know that there were freaking mines on the field and I ran into 3 and then bam, I’m banned from the game. This is freaking ridiculous.
I was all set to play Halo tonight with friends but apparently I can’t do that now because of 1 stupid game on Action Sack.

If you’re referring to the action sack suicide booting issue I sent the information to Ske7ch for a match I was booted from via PM on this site as I do not have (and have no interest in) a twitter account. You can do that by clicking on his tag in this post and selecting ‘send message.’ He requested the game link from your history which I assume is this one here. As you have several arena games after that I assume your ban has already ended. Sending the info to Ske7ch is likely about gathering information so that 343 can fix the issue and it would still likely be benefit the community at large for you to do so.
When i first got Halo 5 i did 2 matches and quit and got banned for 40 seconds believe it or not. It was not a big deal but i was kinda shocked that i got banned lol. Anyways i have come up with a solution to fix the banhammer and hopefully 343 sees or acknowledges this post.
When a game first starts, in order to quit you have to dashboard and completely get out of the game, (I always see players quit right when it starts) and if you try to get back on Halo 5 u automatically get banned for 5 or 10 mins. (Whatever sounds better) Now if its like this where you dont have have a quit option when u pause the game at the start of the match, make it where once you get halfway the match it gives you the option to leave again in the pause menu. If you decide to leave halfway when your able to pause and leave, you wont get banned unless u do it multiple times within the hour (3 times). Finally after the second time you quit it will give you a notice on the screen and tell you if you quit one more time your banned for 5 or 10 mins. (Like i said earlier, whichever sounds better)What do you guys think about this?

I play this game more as hobby or socially. People quit all the time and your forced to play an uneven match. I played 2 games today that was me against 4. What’s your suggestion to stop?
