tuesday around 06:00 p.m. I was banned from arena multiplayer for 8 hours. The next day, I was still banned and Iâm still banned today, which is weird. What can I do in this situation?

Well the only thing you can do is to wait.I would wait a few more days and if the Ban isnt then over I would contact the support.

I contacted Microsoftâs technical service and they told me that my account is not banned, thatâs why I think this whole ban thing is weird.

Well,the problem is,(as far as I know)that the Microsoft tecincal service can only check if your profile is banned from the whole service and not from a single game.
Once again I get banned for the connection loss the first time I did leave but I only left cause thereâs too many people on here that are too competitive heaven forbid you suck in a couple matches and all you hear is someone saying you guys suck as a team blah blah blah get a life sorry I have a girlfriend and a job that I canât play this 24/7 like a lot of the competitive people on hear Iâm not staying in a game with people like that sorry but I only left once the other time the connection was bad I wish they can fix it to where the game knows when you lost connection instead of it thinking you left the game

They canât let that happen, because once they do, people can just quit by âlosing connectionâ (AKA turning off their Internet) and they never get punished.

I change it periodically that is for mongoose destroyer.
Not banned yet today but keeps losing connection and the servers are crap today the game keeps doing the teleporting thing on me I canât play a decent match at all today itâs not fair at all Iâm very close of getting rid of this game and never playing halo again and Iâm a huge fan and this is disappointing to say the least I pay for Xbox live for this???
A few minutes I got banned for accidently betraying a team mate for half an hour and then I lost connection in another game I got banned for 2 hours pls fix this and reset my ban time please

Ivy been banned for 3 days now like what in the hell makes me not want to play ever again how can u tell me when I can play the game or when I can quit and how can you keep me from playing for so long that just crazy guess Iâll just got back to all the call of dutys and whatâs crazy is I just stop playing cod because is was -Yoink!- me off with spawn kills and I was just getting into halo actually liking it way better then any other shooter game now cant even play whyâd I by the game then ? Itâs stupid I get penalized because I quit a game that I only have me another person on verse 4 other people and we are getting raped like wtf who would stay in a game when right when it start two of your team mates leave I understand being banned for some hours or at most a day but 3 days -Yoink- halo and Microsoft you scammer mutherfuckers your going to crash halo 5 like halo 4 fell out eventually halo will fade away once you bann enough people this is so dumb

I feel exactly how you do FearlessCain, I got tired of the usual FPS games like COD and went back to Halo via H5, but after getting banned for nothing, I remembered why I left Halo after ReachâŚBungie/343/Microsoft have always enjoyed banning their fans (and not caring, even when they admitted to banning people by mistake), and the Halo community is hugely toxic (really went downhill after MLG came on seenâŚMLG Slayer is fun, but people only see Halo as a means to make money through competition/leagues now, rather than a game and legendary story).
Reach and H4 sold tons, but turned out to be major flops since people barely played them and the online communities dropped to almost nothing 3-6months after the release of each. This happened because the games had huge amounts of problems with overzealous and unfair banning being in the top 3 issues. I legit sold my 360 because of ReachâŚI bought it like I have bought every Halo prior, but within the first 2 weeks I got banned like 5 times and couldnât play for like a month. Bungie basically said they knew people were getting banned for no reason, but didnât care and said they expected people to just deal with it. I said nope and sold it and my 360 instantly. Came back for MCC, which had a ton of problems too, but I missed the old titles, so heh.
Then I bought H5 and itâs back to the same problems from ReachâŚpromises galore from 343/Microsoft, but nothing ever comes, and they legit ban their community into oblivion. I donât even know why people like the ban system when almost no other hugely popular game on Xbox One bans people like this, yet those games and communities are just fine (never been banned in COD, Battlefield, etcâŚsame for most other people). Again, half the people on here are banned from playing, so why even have Halo around anymore.

What are you getting banned for? Yes it is possible to get a perma-ban but not i dont think for things like quitting. If your cheating then yes however.
Hi I was banned for not playing actively. My question is why am I judged for not participating enough in the game that I paid for? I am a long time halo fan but I never dealt with this in any other game. If this isnât fixed soon than I think Iâll just switch over to a new game leaving halo behind. Very frustrating.

That sounds like a ban due to too much idling. Idling is what happens when you donât participate in a game, and usually results in getting booted from a game (which can lead to bans). Active play is important, especially in ranked matches. Nobody likes it when people sit back and try to reap game rewards without doing anything. And even if you think a few seconds of being idle is find, in many cases the tides of battle can change in just a few seconds, so being active for the entire game is important.
