I literally played one game of SWAT, completed it and got banned for being idle. After getting the ban message, then I receive an Arena Win REQ Pack for winning that SWAT match.

I had my fun with Halo since its inception and am okay if itâs time to give up on it if this ban garbage doesnât stop (banning has been the biggest problem with Halo matchmaking since the day H2 went live online).

I was hiding in a corner waiting for zombies, looking back and forth, and BOOM I get kicked with the stupid error message âWake Up John, Idle too long.â WTF? I never had these problems until the recent Halo 5 update and all I play is Infection and SWAT. This happened just before the SWAT game too.

> > > > > The handful of people who live in this thread just to support 343iâs dumb ban system are part of the reason why the Halo community has slowly diminished since ReachâŚyâall are so toxic. People are having real technical issues with the gameâs ban system and you people who support it no matter what are just sadistic. Someone said I have 4 DNFs from this week, but on my end, I have never quit nor gotten booted in a game this week until that Infection game where I was hiding, so clearly the game is messed up. People are having things put on their records/profiles that arenât true and yâall are just flat out calling them losers saying they deserve the bans. Who are you people to criticize others? Yâall ainât 343i employees and have no access to any information on other players except for the partial and flawed info in their waypoint profile stats, which by the way Bungie stated way back that compiled stats on the website from in-game are usually inaccurate and incomplete and just an estimated summation from small bits of info from the live serversâŚand I really doubt itâs any different with 343i, so to you handful of people in this thread that are being rudely judgemental, take a chill pill.
> > > > >
> > > > > I remember back on bnet when Bungie was still managing Halo, everyone had games missing from their bnet stats and info missing, on top of wrong info added into their stats. Bungie legit said donât worry about it, itâs just an unofficial, partial and inaccurate record of your stats from the gamesâ servers. That could be why they only archived half the stats when they sold Halo, why archive it all when you know only some of it is accurate. 343i probably uses the same system because itâs impossible to archive every playersâ every single game playedâŚthe amount of server space required to store that amount of info would be financially insane.

The only weird one is the last game where everyone but one person left. I can find these games *through other peopleâs profiles.*You spout all this stuff about Bungie when they had their own Banhammer system in Halo 3.

Well, I just checked your game history and you have a bunch of DNFs in both Arena and Warzone, so I think itâs time you stop speaking condescendingly and insultingly to people in this thread because youâre a gigantic bigot and hypocrite.

> Other people already told you to stop acting like a mod and 343i employee. Youâre simply a Halo player like the rest of us. Say your peace and move on. Iâm reporting any further responses from you to me in this thread because at this point youâre just flaming people and stat flaming on top of calling people out everytime someone posts in here.
>
> Donât like my opinion? Move on. I posted my experience for 343i to look into, not for you to play detective. This thread was created for people to compile their issues for 343 and that is all, but some of you are playing internet detective and need to relax.
Yes, those that have a bunch of DNFs deserve a ban. Thatâs what the ban system is for. The banhammer has been coming down since it was in Bungieâs hands in Halo 3.
Those what were actually unfairly punished, I try to help, but at the end of the day, no one here has the power to remove a ban.
I donât act like a mod, thatâs what the actual mods are for. I donât act like a 343i employee, because they arenât obligated to show up here and do anything. I am simply a Halo player, someone who has access to your public Game History, just as you did to me. Iâm sensing a bit of hypocrisy from you now.
Also, the very first post of this thread:
> 2533274837003795;1:
> Will posting in this thread guarantee my ban will be lifted and that someone will respond personally to every post?
> Unfortunately, no. We simply donât have enough eyes, ears and typing hands to respond to every single post. However, the community will help keep you honest. You have a public game history for everyone to see. If you post you were banned unjustly, the community is in their rights to check out your history to confirm or deny your claims. Please, just keep it clean.
So no, I am not breaking any rules here.
But if you canât be civil enough to have a decent conversation without resorting to insults and reporting people to silence them, then I guess thereâs nothing left to say.
You arenât banned anymore, itâs been longer than two hours. So you should take your own advice: âDonât like my opinion? Move on.â
