The length of the ban is on the initial message, ‘the banhammer strikes’ one. At the moment the timer can only be viewed on that message to my knowledge. Early bans are short and tend to increase or double each time. I’ve yet to hear about a permanent ban and it doesn’t seem likely. The longest I’ve seen someone claim was three days, but I have no evidence that he/she was being forthright.

It would be a very useful (and nice) thing if they add a visible countdown that remains even after the first message.
I have been kicked out 4 times today from the servers of Halo5 while i was playing arena. i fear to be banned another time.
That ban hammer is a real garbage, the servers are a trash !
It’s funny OP because you don’t realize that sometimes people quit a match because of lags or glitches to. You should update your post because you’re forgetting the most important reason of quitting a match. It is not our fault that you have terrible servers. You should be the ones getting blamed for making crappy servers. Btw, I am sick and tired of getting banned in halo 5 for no reason. All I had was a laggy server. Oh and don’t even get me started on how you don’t ban someone who betrayed me on purpose but you ban me for accidently attacking my own team mate in grifball. Halo 5 is possibly the worst game I have played in my life and I am going to quit playing the game. If you try to ban me again on forums, go ahead I don’t care anymore. Halo 5 is a scam.

Of your last ten Arena games, more than a few were DNFs. That’s probably what caused the ban. Usually the banhammer runs only 1 game behind, but in your case it looks like it was 2 games late instead. I haven’t heard of this before, but it’s not beyond the scope of possibility. Considering that 4 of your last 10 Grifball games were DNF, I am not surprised that you got a ban.
When you say it “crashed”, what exactly happened? Did it say that “You have been disconnected from the servers” or something like that, followed immediately by a ban message?

my game closed right before it ended my network is pretty bad right now too so i lag alot but still i wish this dident happen i’m getting a rage quiter status from crashes lol

You have quite a few DNFs in your history.
Every single one of them with a Negative K/D, not counting the Firefight one.
Some matches you seem to quit early as well due to having a very low death value.
Here’s my guess.
For whatever reason you were unable to finish the match.
The ban hammer system checked for a pattern.
In your case, more deaths than kills and quick to leave the match (for whatever reason).
That’s just me though.
I’m not receiving a banhammer strikes message when I’m banned. Is there anyway to check my ban time length?

It comes with the banhammer message,after this message there is no way to check your lenght.

Bruh don’t be so quick to judge. I play video games for fun alright. I don’t play to win or anything. But if you can’t have comfortable gameplay such as having the lags and glitches, then it won’t be fun at all. Today I got my a@s whooped in btb horribly. I swear to god I did not quit that match. I have it in theater mode. So don’t think it is about the losing or winning that makes me want to quit. It is the bad servers with lags and glitches.

You didn’t get banned for finishing a game. You got banned because you have 6 dnf’s today and I didn’t go back any farther than that. Takes a bit for the system to catch up to you.

Just went back and looked at my game history i only have 3 dnf so why this stupid -Yoink- happend maybe beacuse thats what happends when you put a bunch of ret@rds to make a game

Nope, look under all on game history so it includes warzone. They made the game this way so people don’t have to put up with people that don’t finish games.
