So I hope this works, I consider myself a decently behaved gameer, no rage quits, finish even tho the matchmaking leaves us 2 vs 4 for awhile. I received a ban, no info why, for a few minutes. I was wondering if there was a way to find out why?
Dude, I literally finished yet another wonderful match of Breakout with yet another wonderful stacked team against me and right as it started showing the other teams winning cutscene my Xbox connection timed out and I got a ban for a little over an hour! You can literally look at the latest video in my Xbox clips and see it firsthand how it happened for me! I understand if people leave the game too often get banned, but when something out of my control (like my internet randomly deciding to kick me out) happens, I can’t do anything about it. Maybe people purposely disconnecting from the internet to quit should not be the main worry the devs have here, maybe it should be to make sure if someone gets banned they actually deserve it? I’m really sick of this increasing banhammer time crap and all the bullcrap that comes with it. I hate posting in the official “why was i banned” thread because all anyone tells me is im banned (which i already know) and that i deserved it. Thats BS dude. Idk what to do.
Update: I’m actually at an 8 hour ban now (yes from 1h11m to 8h) for Arena because i actually left one match to go because I had no choice and needed to leave. Is there any way to help this? Could there perhaps be an appealing process put in place? Idk but idk what to do now

Last I checked warzone DNFs and bans are a seperate thing from arena but I’m not sure

Sadly they count anytime you leave at all as ragequitting. Whether you lag out, your power goes out, you actually leave, etc etc it all is the same to them. This system sucks

Actual server disconnects don’t show up as a dnf, lost connection to the server can also mean it was lost on your side so you will have to add those 6 games back.

Regardless, that’s a 4% DNF out of 300 games. Still a -Yoink- reason for banning.

Hard reset usually takes care of the fireteam issue. Make sure you are not set to appear offline as well.

I disagree. The banning system is a game behind. Meaning even if I had a disconnect on my end, I’d be able to play roughly another match before the ban would effectively kick in. I was returned to the main menu with this fireteam error and IMMEDIATELY banned. The problems lay on the server side.
