The 12 hour ban you got after the reset is because the Banhammer has an one round delay of one round.

You also only left games where your performance was not so good,so I have to assume that you left this games to keep your K/D high and use the servers as an excuse for that.
That the last was an connection issue is clearly viable,maybe that was too much and you got banned.

Your servers have terrible performance, why are my friends with excellent connection with no other issues in other games getting disconnected on a rergular basis? Fix your servers already.
Lately everytime I play btb at the end of the match when I get my carnage report it says âconnection lostâ and I get banned. Itâs been happening for almost a week now and I havenât been leaving the games, but because it says connection lost I guess itâs counting it as me leaving. The ban timer is now up to 8 hours and I havenât done anything wrong. Please help.

Cross-referencing your video with your history shows that the game in the video is this one. The game before that was a DNF. Thatâs why you got banned; it just took the banhammer an extra game to kick in.

In your game history, there are two instances of where you played a game of Tank World followed by a game of BTB. In both cases, you quit the Tank World games (or at least you did not finish them). So those are the games you are getting banned for; it just takes the system one extra game before the ban triggers. It just so happens that both bans followed BTB games, so it seems like BTB is the problem. Donât worry, your ability to play BTB is fine; just stop quitting if youâre quitting or maybe troubleshoot your connection if you are disconnecting often and the bans should stop.
For me there have been a certain amount of breakout games where a play a few and then are banned for 2 to 8 hours. Approximately every few games I get banned on a daily basis. After a few games it says connection lost and then therefore bans me for a long period of time where I have to wait until the next day to play arena matches again. Itâs really a shame because it seems to only be happening in breakout which is really fun since the breakout refresh but is unplayable after a few games because I get banned for quitting matches.
If anyone else is having these problems with the new breakout please post a comment so it can get fixed to make halo 5 a better game.

You were likely banned for this Doubles match that you did not finish.
i get banned from leaving one game. I leave a game start another one and after that game is over i get banned. I have seen people leave 5 or 6 games and not get banned.

Mid-game in Team Doubles I get pulled to a loading screen and told my fireteam changed and then Iâm banned for âquitting too many matchesâ. 1 DNF in 26 matches. Seriously Bungie. This is ridiculous. Get your -Yoink- together.
Edit: Hereâs the link to my Service Record, now showing my current, uncalled for DNF in Team Doubles, and 25 matches in a row before that over 3 days with no DNFâs. I rarely ever quit. I just donât. So this is very excessive to do to players and then they get a hugely negative impact to CSR because Iâm also considered quitting when it isnât even my fault. Double whammy punishment. Not fair in the slightest.

The fireteam has changed message means that you disconnected from the server, not that the server disconnected from you. More than likely you have some mild networking issues on your end. As far as anyone knows there is no reset time for dnfâs.

So in that span i have completed 96% of my games. This equates to 1 DNF every 25 games. Half of those DNFâs were due to halo 5 servers and XBL so weâll take 6 away from that and 2% are actually quitting. Taking away those 6 for system instability brings it to a DNF every 50. For me to receive a ban because of system -Yoink- is absolutely unacceptable. Instability of servers is not on the players. So a 2% actual quit rate merits a ban of 20-30 minutes at least with a 98% completion rate (taking away system issues)? Absolutely ludicrous. This is the reason many players are unhappy with 343, because of things like this.
