So going off your history, it looks like you got a ban issued after a game of Mongoose Sumo, yes? What you probably were seeing was the “late banhammer” syndrome, which is common banhammer behavior. This is when you get banned after a game you complete and otherwise do nothing wrong, but the ban happens right after and makes you think you got disconnected. Don’t worry, you didn’t; the banhammer is hitting you for a previous offense, and simply takes 1 extra game to catch up. When it does finally hit you, it kicks you from the servers as soon as whatever game you’re playing is over; this often is mistaken for the game banning you for an unintentional disconnect, but this is not the case.
In your particular case, you were likely banned for this game, where you were the only person to not finish. You were not banned for this game; the banhammer just took one extra game to catch you.

Also as far as I know theres nothing you can do,just hope that the other guy teamkill to much and get kicked out of the game.

Well, thanks anyways. Just I can’t believe a 24 hour ban for a first offense.
Oh dang… nevermind. It was a 24 minute ban. All I saw was a 23:52 and it didn’t say minutes or hours. Unless someone at bungee saw this and fixed it, I’m now able to play war zone again… okay. Well thanks anyways. Why isn’t the banhammer more clear or at least able to tell you multiple times what your ban time is?

So people who betray do get detected by the system; if they betray enough, then they can get booted from games and even banned. Instead of quitting, though, which the system doesn’t like, what you should do when you encounter trolls is do your best to ignore them, run away from them if you have to, and continue the game. Then be sure to go and report those players on Xbox Live for unsporting conduct, and add that they were griefing/trolling in the custom message box. Many trolls have gotten smarter about how they do it, and will refrain from actually killing players because if you betray enough times even in Warzone you get booted. If the other players were fully killing you with vehicles, then you could have also let them continue doing that until they got betrayal booted. Griefers are terrible, I know, but try not to get yourself detected by the banhammer and don’t quit under any circumstance, if you can help it (obviously emergencies are an exception).
Also, you said you quit 3 games in the past 2 days, but you actually have 9 DNFs in Warzone since 9/22/16.

then I have to say that it’s still a gross underestimate. You didn’t quit a couple of games in the past 2 days; you quit 9. That’s quite a bit of quitting. I understand that you don’t like being banned but just know that your game history is public information, so trying to make it sound like you quit less than you actually did doesn’t do anything to help you.

The bansystem has delay from one game,so you got banned for your disconnect earlyer and not for the BTB game.

Well there are 3 disconnects in your last 30matches and if you ever recived an ban before it sume up.

Yeah, that’s normal banhammer behavior. You weren’t banned for the BTB game you finished, you were banned for the previous Team Arena game you left; it just took the banhammer 1 extra game to catch up. Seems like the banhammer is pretty sensitive towards you, so I would suggest that you stop leaving games for any reason. If you feel like your connection is consistently bad with lag and whatnot, I would then suggest research aspects of your connection to try and determine why you are seeing lag, using the following steps: Current ISP (is your ISP the only one in your area? Is it known to have issues connecting to Halo 5 servers?) Up/down speeds (what does your ISP say it should be, and what does speedtest say it actually is?) Ping & Packet loss (measure here, and note that you’ll need to update Flash Player and Java, and don’t use Chrome) Latency with Microsoft Azure servers (probably where the Halo 5 servers are; you can check here, and you can also test up/down speeds to the Azure servers if you want)

I know getting banned isn’t fun, but please be honest when posting here. Trying to gain sympathy by making it seem like you didn’t actually quit does nothing to help you. And in the case of that Team Arena game you are referring to, it doesn’t look like a server error because only two people didn’t finish, and both of you weren’t doing so well in the game (which looks like intentionally leaving, for one reason or another).

Chimera30, I appreciate help, but don’t start a ‘fight’ here. Because now you’re just acting like you’re all-knowing, implying that I’m just another kid that lies about stuff like this. “Trying to gain sympathy by making it seem like you didn’t actually quit”. I’m an adult, just like you (I hope). I’ve been playing Halo sinnce day 1. And I know my stuff, I know when I quit or when I get disconnected. Don’t claim things to be true/false unless Youre sitring right next to me.
And by the way, I have about 200mb down with 0 PL. It has to do with US/Europe connections.
Also red makes people angry. One thing the devs could do is change the colour of screens giving us messages that most probably will piss us off to a light blue colour so we’re not so pissed off. People will still be pissed off but it could save xboxes guys. Perfect storm of a late pizza, bad match, and sudden three day ban with an angry red message? My mate Alan threw his 360 out of his window and he didn’t even get banned it was just a bad match.
