Your best bet would be to report them for unsporting conduct.

How many times have you gotten banned? And you do have 4 DNFs on your record, which out of your ten total games is a large percentage, especially for ranked playlists.
i don’t think a ban bot should be running when you have no customer support. do you know when if ever customer support will be running. Like i got half hour ban for no reason like i quit like one out of like 20 games are you kidding me.
edit: i just looked and it says i quit like 1 in 5. where does this info come from because that is not accurate information. Also a reason and clear timer would be nice cos i couldn’t see that timer anywhere in game.

You’re quitting games, that’s a reason. You’ve quit enough games or quit games in combination with other offences enough times to trigger the ban hammer. As it’s been since the days of Halo 3, in-game bans are automated and don’t have customer response.

I found the Tankworld game you were talking about in your history. I’ve never heard of someone getting booted for inactivity during death in Tankworld, but if that is true it should definitely be changed.
What was the difference between the Tankworld game where you got booted and other Tankworld games that you lost? Did you happen to not touch the controller at all during the DNF game? Did you step away from the console during death and perhaps came back too long after respawning?
I’ve quit one freaking game my entire h5 career and now I’m banned because I joined in progress into a action sack game in which I was only one of two players on my team playing tank world- so I quit. ONE FREAKING GAME and now I’m banned. Are you serious?! Also had issues trying to select a game type because my fire team no longer existed? Definitely a bug. I have tried to stay positive on the threads but I’ve had enough.
Fix the -Yoinking!- bugs in the game and quit adding reqs until it is polished!!!
I can’t believe there needs to be a forum for this. I’ve been playing halo for years – back when multiplayer was first getting going, and the pro circuit was something people still laughed at. I finally found a time I could pick up Guardians and I was stoked to get back into matchmaking. Now I’ve been outside of a post-game lobby twice with no way to exit other than restart my console. This glitchy multiplayer is the reason I can’t move from one slayer lobby to the next.
I’ve now been banned for enough time to post this comment. I’m really here in the hopes that somebody will actually reach out to resolve the issue, or give me some semblance of reason. I’ve been banned twice now in about 2 weeks of playing - each time for a ridiculous amount of time. I highly doubt someone will actually address this, but I guess I’ll give it a shot.
I find it hard to still convince people to come back to Halo when the banhammer comes down so ridiculously. What a joke. I understand the necessity of banning players who rage quit and talk trash incessantly, but when the post-game glitches, or you get booted for network issues, what are you supposed to do? Well, for working adults, that generally means shutting down your console and thinking about a different game you should have purchased.
You’re not just losing a gamer here 343, you’re losing a promoter. I’ve been a Halo evangelist for years, but every time I this happens, Overwatch or Battlefield looks more appealing, and I lose the will to advocate for my long time favorite.

A: 2 out of your last 10 matches were DNFS.
B: Hard resetting the XBOX usually clears up the Fireteam has changed thing.

I had some problems like that early on. If I remember correctly, changing my dns servers on the router and xbox solved the issue. Xbox live seems to do well with google Dns, 8.8.8.8 and secondary of 8.8.4.4 Might give that a try.

xbox live servers are actually pretty stable, but they are picky about settings, and they can’t tell people to change settings for liability reasons.
