Um, hi it’s me again. Got banned for another 24 hours because I had to drop what I was doing to attend a real life relative who’s sick and needs attention. It’s cool though you guys go ahead make an emblem and map feature for your buddies who need to attend to real life stuff but just poop on us when we didn’t even quit, just idled and that’s just not convenient enough for the system.
For real treat us with respect even if it’s on an individual basis. Why am I being banned for 24 hours at a time? Is it because I’m too good? I’ve won 3 matches in the last week BY MYSELF on doubles and someone complained about my pkaystyle? This is bs 343, I’ve been a devout halo fan since H2 and I deserve some gd slack. It’s bad enough so many people give this game an average rating. Are you really willing to alienate your most loyal fans by BANNING them from playing for entire 24 hour stretches???
This is disgusting 343! Fix your algorithms because it’s making your best turn away from you and your future installments!

now and again my connection will drop when im in a game and eventually i will be put on the cooldown on halo, this is really winding me up becuase the time is going up and up and im not even doing anything wrong, im a die hard halo fan but this is obviously driving me away from the game.
343 Mod you need to bring this to the attention of your superiors ASAP!
After a year after release you should know all trollers and grievers are long gone! You’re only punishing good people now for entirely excusable behavior!

Going from a 15 or so minute ban to a 24 hour ban is a YUGE (Trump) leap! Unbelievable. Though the 2nd Ammendment group might have something to say about that (Trump).
If I was in charge of bans the real offenders would be sent over the wall Bigly. They’d be sent over so bigly your head would spin. Believe me.
another ban for 24hr for my connection dropping and me (leaving the game) this is so stupid. i play alot of halo in a day so every now and then mine or the host of the games connection is bound to drop. i am honestly coming close to being done with halo. it seems everytime i play i end up getting banned. first it was 2 hours then 8 now 24. this is the death of what once was a good game franchise.
I quit a game earlier, as it was obvious we were against a pro team, they were humiliating us, so I quit as its not fun playing people at that level. I got slapped with 1hour 30 minute ban, ok I’m not happy but I just deal with it.
i go back 2hours later, and my ban hasn’t finished its now increased to 6 hours

im sorry guys but I paid you for this game, and I’ve been part of this community that keeps it afloat since halo CE, these bans are a majorly excessive, generally I’m a good player and the only leave matches if my connection fails, or I’m left 4 v 1.
i can’t see the reasoning behind a stupid ban like this, and as usual 343 customers have no way to really deal with it or get some vindication, I buy a game, then prevented from playing it for 6 hours. Not good enough 343.
ive put up with betrayers who never seem to get banned, despite reporting them
and those punks with the modded controllers. But I shouldn’t have to put up with this level of petty disrespect from the developer I’ve supported
this sucks, i got banned monday for at least 19 hours, because the bad connection of the halo servers, and it is supposed the ban was over, and just before my game start, a new banhammer message, saying i was placed on a cool down for another 13 hours, how is this posible, i couldnt play because of the 19 hours ban, Someone here with the same problem?

I keep getting the ban hammer when it’s the servers that are malfunctioning. Who do we report these errors too? I can’t take this error anymore. Can someone from the game contact me? Clearly, I am not the only one effected by This.

What is the specific nature of your problem? That is, what makes you think you are experiencing server errors? Are you seeing messages like “You have been disconnected from the server” after finishing a game, and immediately after that see a ban message?

Yup that’s the way I’m feeling dude, there’s a few of my games on disc that are going toward trade ins so I can get hitman or resi 4, halo 5 may be joining them, and like you said I’m not the only one, a lot of my friends feel the same way. I feel as well modded controllers area major issue too, I’m pretty good with the carbine/pistol ect, but I’m getting creamed by impossible shot speeds.
I was knocked out of a fiesta slayer match just after i hit an enemy with a hammer the it says because my fireteam changed and was ban hammered for it team me this game does not need fixed and i show you proof to the contrary
Now I got removed from a firefight because of my fireteam changed when it did not

“I see 2 DNFs in your last 500 games, try not to quit games next time.” is probably the answer you will get if it is replied, because if quitting 1 games out of a million gets you ban, noone here would consider it a legitimate complaint; sad
