I was banned for just quit one game of all time ¿Why?
If you are checking this page because of an in-game message, you were likely banned for NO reason! After my last game an in-game message told me my connection was lost! And I have only had an issue with my connection once months ago. So without a doubt, 100%, That was completely due to your crappy servers!

LOL, Yes, I think that is what any rational person would think is appropriate for a 10 minute video game. I’m going to predict that 343 comes to that realization before the next game goes back to their studio licking their woulds as they comply.

1 out of your last 10 Warzone games were DNF, and it was 4 out of 10 for Arena. What you were likely experiencing (assuming you saw “connection lost” after this completed game) was nothing more than the late banhammer, catching up to you for this DNF you had before. This is totally normal banhammer behavior. The servers are fine; the banhammer, after catching you one game later, just kicked you from the servers the instant that FFA match was completed (which occurs before the PGCR screen). This can often seem like an actual connection issue, but it isn’t.

i was disconnected from game lobby before the game even started a few times and i got the ban hammer. and lost rank because of this. i did not break any rules. i did not leave the game. it’s not a long ban but it sucks non the less. especialy when i did nothing wrong. i checkd my connections and everythig looked ok. why does this happen??

I am subject of quitting sometimes, and yes i should be prosecuted for that. However, recently I finished a match, and as the four characters were showing for the team who won, I lagged out and got banned for some time. Why would I be banned for lag at the end of a round? It was ten minutes, so nothing to complain too much about, just want to know.

No, that’s not true.
The real problem is that you already knew the rules before you started habitually quitting in the middle of a game, but you incorrectly assumed that those rules were flexible. This isn’t like the speed limit on the freeway: “I know it says 50 MPH, but I can go 55-59 and the highway patrol won’t bust me.” Unfortunately for you, that isn’t the way it works… the ban hammer system is automated, and it doesn’t forget.
Now, you finally realize that you should not have assumed that there is some type of allotment for the number of times you can break the rules before you are punished. Instead of taking responsibility for your actions, you blame the rules themselves. Don’t blame the system itself when you already knew the rules and are culpable for repeatedly quitting.

that happens to me a lot. one time this week I was in a slayer match and after we managed to win all the stats for the match vanished. what would that fall under?

Can you provide a link to the game in your history in which this lag out occurred? I have a feeling I know which game you are referring to, but I’d like you to point it out so I don’t bias your answer.

By trying to help you? By saying that you can put the game down between matches and then use the restroom, Regardless of how long it takes you? And then continue playing when you won’t have to AFK or quit and harm your team? Some consideration for others is welcome.

6 out of your last 30 (discounting you custom matches) were DNFS. That is likely why you were banned. Every DNF counts regardless of the cause. If you finish your matches your won’t get banned.
I keep getting banned because of bad internet connection. Every time i get online I am able to play one game and then get booted off and the time increases each time. Getting pretty tired of it and no one seems to be able to help
The game is sometimes weird I got banned for getting disconnect.

343i stated that excessive disconnects would be cause for bans (noted here under “The Banhammer Strikes” section). This is likely to prevent use of disconnecting by pulling the ethernet cable or powering off the console/router in order to avoid losses counting. What troubleshooting measures have you gone through for your connection? There are several things one can do to attempt to better their connection: steps like port forwarding, using wired connection, testing ping, testing for packet loss, and even contacting your ISP can help better your connection in Halo 5.
One of the many sad reasons why I stop playing Halo 5. So broken.

Out of your last 10 Arena games, you have 3 DNFs.; all since yesterday. What you are experiencing when you brought up this:

is merely the banhammer kicking in late. This is normal. You were not banned for the game you completed; you were banned for the game before that you did not finish. Hope this clears up your confusion.
