From what I’m gathering, Vegeto’s game history comes across as virtually no problems with his WiFi and doesn’t quit other than occasional 1 DNF every so often. I happen to be in the same boat as he is, except the difference with me is that I got slapped with the Banhammer because I’ve had one DNF in my previous 20+ games. Now how does that make any sense?
The fact is that it doesn’t, despite 343 sending out Halo fans to do their bidding on this forum (i.e. Vegeto) those same people are being targeted by those who are frankly, pissed. Which is completely understandable. Simply put: it isn’t Vegeto’s fault or anyone else’s on this forum that 343 doesn’t even seriously give a look to some of these complaints, and yes, some of them are fake sob stories as some people say. But there is a good portion of people, such as myself and many others, who have legitimately been banned without plausibility. So to reiterate-- it’s not Vegeto, or anyone else’s fault that 343 doesn’t seriously consider these complaints. The fault lies squarely on the shoulders of 343, so to make Vegeto their scapegoat is flat out wrong. And arguing on this forum will not change a single thing, trust me.
It’s pretty pathetic that nothing will come of this, regardless of the valid points we all make. And that’s just the reality of it.

I was just banned for so called quiting games and I haven’t, the torque one on my service record is the one it kicked me out of. So please explain. Not bad connection not lag but the system kicked me so where are my excessive quits, there is none.

No, I’m telling you, there is something wrong. Since that ban, I’ve been playing for 4 days and logged something like 45 games. To have a Ban for 3 day means tha you must have had previous bans before, starting from minutes, then hours, and now days.
The Banhammer does not reset, so it will have built up a “profile” about your gaming habits. This also takes into account any disconnect’s from the server and these will be counted as DNF’s, also it takes into account any betraying, accidental or on purpose, suicides, accidental or on purpose and AFK/AFC(away from Keys/Controller), if any of these have happened then it will be added to the “profile” that the banhammer builds.
So what will most likely will happen is that there is a point when only 1 quit/disconnect, betrayal, suicide or AFK/AFC will tip the balance on the threshold of your profile, even if you have completed a number of games with a good record the banhammer will come into effect.
I do think that if you have played by the rules for a certain ammount of games and time wise, i.e. weeks the banhammer threshold should be raised so that even a disconnect(due to shoddy ISP) won’t trigger a ban. I hope that 343i would be able to implement this in the next Halo.
I know that it is frustrating to be banned for quiting 1 game, and seems unfair but I hope the explanation above goes in some way to explain and aleviate your frustration.

Moving further and further back in your match history, there are more and more DNFs.
Unless I missed some DNFs, pretty much all of them are with you having a negative K/D, which I think is one criteria that the banhammer looks for.
Some Warzone DNFs also seem like the reason is due to doing bad. I mean, I found a match where you had three kills and one death, either you lagged out, quit because of lag, or had a bad day, managed to kill three NPCs, died a BS death and got so fed up that you quit.
A three day ban is the result of a history of bans, so I’m not that prone to believe you got banned for three days as your first ban, this contradicts what is previously believed and said by the developers of the banhammer and as such would need some sort of proof.
Also, You have two DNFs these two last days, an Arena and one Firefight.
Furthermore, if a Class Action is a lawsuit, you have nothing. You’ve agreed to the ToS in which it states they can ban you without disclosing why, so in essence, they can ban you permanently for their own giggles, and you have no right because you agreed to the ToS.

I’d personally want to see banned players being able to play, but only with and against other players who are banned. So instead of not being able to play, they are matched against each other, and no rewards or stats tracked, to prevent abuse.
I was banned again for quiting and I haven’t quit any at all what is going on I was the leader of a Fireteam . PLAYED ALL DAY, NO QUITS. HOW MANY MORE TIMES IS THIS GOING TO HAPPEN. Second time today BULL.
I like how i get bans for leaving games that are clearly social (Grifball, Social Snipers) and actually do fill spots if you do leave. What is the point of these modes then? Social implies you can drop in and out with no problem.
I already had a couple strikes because i made the dumb mistake of trying to play late at night and it dumped me into games where i had brutal connections and/or were put on uneven teams because of what i assume was putting me on servers not in NA. (Which i quietly waited out) But this? Nah, not cool.
Why should i be banned for 3 days because i left a game of social snipers? SOCIAL. If this keeps up, i might just take my gaming time elsewhere to a game that doesn’t treat their customers like garbage.

Microsoft basically has the same ToS / ToU for all its products. One ToU (Terms of Use) can be found at the bottom of this page.

Got banned today for 2 hours because i lagged out of the match, it just kicked me out. I have never quit a single game before… nice autoban policy, will never play again.
It said 2 hours but was a 15 min ban, still this automated system is crazy.
My son is -Yoink!- and greatly enjoys all the halo games. He is rather good at them too, but was recently banned for an unknown reason from Halo 5: Guardians. I have all of his social settings disabled so he can’t voice chat or hear other teammates, send or recieve friend requests or messages. He sometimes does not play the game as intended which he has no control over. His gamertag is TheLilAnswer21 and we both would greatly appreciate his reinstatement.
